Relm nodded with a & reached for her silverware, remembering this time to place her napkin on her skirt. Not that it would have done much good with the soup, the way she had leaned over the table to share it. "This stuff looks great." She commented, slicing an end into bite sized portions. "I wonder if I can convince Ginny to learn to make them."
Taking a bite, Relm closed her eyes and purred. "Strike that... Gonna get her to somehow." Opening her eyes a bit, Relm grinned at her date. "How's yours?"

Keme set his napkin on his lap and got his fork and knife ready, taking a bite from each as he cut a good sized bite for him, "Mmmmm, excellent!" he commented, taking another bite of his lasgana.

Grinning, Relm set aside a portion of her chicken cannelloni to share with Keme later -after he had a chance to try the three things in his trio. She watched him eat with a silly grin on her face before taking another bite herself. Waiting for a moment his mouth was empty Relm offered him a trybite. "Here. Try mine. One of the one's you were thinking of getting."
Oh, but Keme was adorable when he ate. Maybe she could hit Ginny up on how to cook a few easy things. When the kitsu was not off with her beau at anyrate.
And later... later she would ask again why he had thought of a real date. And why her question had made him nervous. Not now. But sometime tonight.

Keme looked up from his lasgana, smiling and leaning over to take a bite of what Relm offered and he smiled and chewed, "Mmmmm, quite good!" he commented, sitting back down in his seat.

The pictomancer was not sure what to talk about over dinner, but the food was so good she decided conversation really was not needed. She swung her legs happily as she ate her meal, very pleased with her selection. It was much more filling than she might have expected it to be. Relm was glad Keme had already decided to have desert after their next stop. That way she would not be tempted to save room for dessert here.

Seeing that the silence between them was comfortable for the time being, Keme kept on eating his food, her earlier question slipping to the back of his mind for now.

It might be at the back of Keme's mind, but for the pictomancer it was much closer. But then, it was her question. Still, it was no longer in the fore of her thoughts -those being comprised mostly of how good Keme looked and how delicious the food was. About the time it seemed they were both about halfway through their meals, give or take, she spoke up again. "So... which is your favorite, Hummer?"

Keme looked up from his plate, his food half way gone now, "I'd have to say the lasgana! Never had anything this good before!" he said, taking a swig of his iced tea.

"Lasagna's one thing Trel sometimes will make for us. Probably because she thinks it's easy and it probably is... considering how many batches we need now." She was laughing, in part because she was still amazed at how much the family had grown since she & Rikku had joined it. But the rest... "But she's funny. Doesn't like tomato or mushrooms or onions. At least if she can tell they're there." Now she was laughing remembering the times she had helped Ginny come up with ways to hide said items in food when recipes called for them or otherwise mask the taste of the onions by using a different type.

"Hmmm, I will have to try Trel's lasgana one day, it sounds good!! Mooch is more of a baker really, but when she makes her fried chicken, there is usually a brawl over who gets the last drumstick or wing!" he chuckled.

Relm giggled. "Trel's only got 3-4 things other than breakfasts she can cook pretty well, the rest she lets Ginny take care of." Chuckling around her bite she watched Keme happily, imagining his family in such a fight. With Naruto and Tidus alone that was not difficult. "She likes baking better too, and little Maree sometimes helps her with the pies and cookies."
"But you'll have to come over for lassagna sometime. If you don't mind the tomatos pureed."

Keme shook his head and smiled, his plate almost empty and he was glad they would go singing afterwards, might help him burn off the food and make him hungry for dessert, "Nah, I don't mind! But don't be fooled, there have been fights over Moochi's last PMS cookies. That's what she calls them." he stated, blushing lightly.

Relm was certainly too knowledgeable to miss that. She nearly choked on the bite in her mouth and had to quickly drink from her glass of water, holding the straw to the side. She coughed delicately a bit. "PMS cookies? Why's she call them that?" Aside from being more likely to cry, Trelweny never had anything that most would call PMS.

"Because she adds three different chocolate chips in them. White chocolate, semi-sweet chocolate and milk chocolate. It's pretty funny to watch Naruto, Tidus and Boshi go at it when she makes them big and there is only one left. Then I sneak in and take it when they are fighting!" he said, a smug smile on his face as he recalled doing that last time the three went at it for a cookie.

Her eyes glimmered with amusement and -yes- pride. "Oh! That's classic, Keme!" She had to lift up her napkin to laugh behind it.
