I know. Weird song to give Itachi. So why'd I pick it?
Well, I believe that the reason Itachi slaughtered the clan is because of the pressure they were putting on him, being a prodigy and all.
All the lyrics might not apply to him, but it supposedly shows the fact that without everyone, especially his father, nagging at him about his 'duties', he is able to live without all the pressure.
[This is just my opinion of why I think Itachi did this. Wrong thread, I know, but... I had to explain. Please, no debates. KTHNXBAI! <3]
