astronomy and astrobiology
PS - Even though we haven't discovered any extraterrestrial life, astrobiology is still a real science

tiki_boyX2 hehe, yes the fancy words. mrgreen Unfortunatley for me, I don't think that Cryogenics is a major right now, probably becasue it's still so unexplored. xp Maybe I can become the Newton of Cryogenics. mrgreen That'd be really cool, but I'm not as smart as that ingenius man was. Hmmm, does your college offer a Cryogenics course do you know? Well...I need the sleep for I work an 8 hour shift til midnight tomarrow so good night all! mrgreen I have really enjoyed this guild so far, and I just joined today! mrgreen I look forward to being enlightened and hopefully enlightning. Not that I know of. I'll look more into it for ya, when I get a chance.

Put simply you get to play around with magnets and other things at super cold temperatures, like -236 C. Plus things are more electrically conductive at colder temps. I'm sure there are all sorts of things we could invent with super magnetics at it's heart, and weird stuff happens at those cold Temps, sucha as helium skipping a liquid phase and going straight into a solid phase called Hellium III, that permeates through it's container almost instantaneously....And Scientists don't know why yet.

Wow, that does sound interesting. I've never really heard of it, at least not directly. So perty much a science about magnatism?

I enjoy Anatomy/Physiology, but any sort of Life Science (Biology, etc.) is fun for me.

@Emily: Well it can improve the amount of Electricity we can use to power our everyday stuff, and if you could imagine an Elctromagnetic way of Transportation using liquid nitrogen and hydrogen as your base for it. Otherwise my brain is short on Ideas right now, as it's still an open field of Science where who knows what could happen. Oh! And freezing people, I doubt we'll be able to do tat but it would be a fun thing to discover how to do.
@HIEILUVER: Welcometh to the guild. So any kind of Biology for you eh? What kind of Classes have you had for you interests? I just finished up high School Honors Biology myself, and I have considered taking perhaps AP Bio my senior year, but I'm not totally sure yet if I could fit it in my schedule.

@OP
Political Science. Followed by, much to my amazement considering my reluctance to take any classes involving it, Sociology. I'm sure the more practical sciences are cool, too, but my brain just can't fathom how they work, so I stick with what does seem to click.

I love physics, chemistry, and biology. Of course, those are the only classes I've taken, but I'll be taking another year in each before I graduate High School. I think that I have more of a love for chemistry though. Although, science in general is just awesome, it absolutely facinates me, even sociology and such, I love learning new stuff. It's not even limited to science for me, but I won't talk about that since most of it has nothing to do with science. Weeeee, science!!!!

I was really good in Chemistry when I was in HS, but I don't know what happen, Chem One I barely made it out alive.
I mean all the basic stuff is easy, but once it started building along, I got lost. gonk

I like marine biology, but I am most interested in cosmology. Basically, I like just about anything related to astronomy.
