"Ah, I see,," Shirley replied as their shots were served. "Ya see, my pa is a stubborn Irish protestant. So, I'll just write to him that we have a protestant minister. I don't want to be getting an ear full from him."

After spending enough rest time in his tent Col. Potter decided it might be fun to spend some time in the officers club and headed over

"Why, Colonel Potter, hello!" Margaret greeted the C.O. "Well, I don't think dad minded too much about what kind of priest we had. I was born on an Army hospital so, as you should figure, I was raised as kind of an Army brat."

That Colonel Flagg has a glare that could melt faces. gonk He just chewed me out and said he knew everything there is to know about me. surprised

Standing in the back in the noisy crowd, Flagg goes unnoticed as he takes note of the activity and relations. Seems to be a meeting of some kind...
He watched Col. Potter talking to the head nurse who came in with the nosy nurse from earlier. Being nosy is my job. I should watch her...but how...I know...
Flagg leaves the room to put his plan into action.

"Yes, we have met," Shirley replied. "And my Da is an Irish protestant. Irish protestants don't get along well with Irish Catholics. He'd rather die than enter a Catholic church," Shirley laughed.

Nodding, Margaret laughed slightly. "I can understand that. It's a shame that we just can't get along. But that's just the way of the world, I suppose." Taking a drink, Margaret smiled sullenly, staring a bit off into space.

"Ah, yes, the Still. There have been repeated attempts to tear it down, only one of which succeded, but not for long. Pierce and Hunnicutt just love that thing. It's made from spare medical supplies that I suppose were left lying around." Margaret smiled, remembering.
