((After reading the new Weather Forecast for the Area))

Suddenly, the wind began to pick up and blow cold again. Shyam shivered, not completely ready for this cold change in temperature.

"We'd best get your little ones bundled up and home so they don't catch cold. It seems like a cold front is moving back in." Shyam began packing things up from their picnic.

((Don't worry about it! I wasn't on long last night anyway... too sleepy. I think that's why I like guilds so much: I can posts once day if I have to & the RP doesn't get lost. *sheepish* Since I don't always have big slots of time I'm online its easier for me. Also better if I happen to be online at different times than the people I want to RP with.))

"Koniryu? Well, I met him only fleetingly in the weeks just before Theron was born so it's kinda hazy. I do remmeber that even then as a full god he didn't like to be doted on or anything like that. And a strong accent. I remember he had this thick broagh(sp) accent. Still, he was very nice & courteous if I remember correctly."

Myranda smirked her aqua eyes sparkling with amusement. "With Trelweny deciding to go easy on you in the introductions I fear that's left you a bit in the dark about some of our natures she tends to take for granted." Chuckling, she cast a sidelong glance at her human who was looking rather sheepish. "Despite having a very lifelike personality & even some awkward emotions I am not in fact living being. Rather, I am a gaiacom, an android. Created & programmed by Timex to be a companion to his lifemate."

Trelweny smiled, although a shyness had steeped in from feeling perhaps she had made a wrong decision in not doing regular introductions. "I'd like to think we're good for each other too, Shyam. "

Ignoring the gaiacom's boring speach, Shippou easily caught the tossed grape in his mouth and turned his large eyes on the young rogue. Locke snickered & rolled his eyes, knowing the young man had truly started something he might well regret later.

"maybe we could head back to the taver for or after dinner tonight." She looked at Myranda. "If you wouldn't mind babysitting again. The gaiacom gave an impersonalised shrug.

"So, who would like to join us?" She looked at her 'family' curiously. Tien stopped abruptly in her game of grape football with the faerie anubi to dive excitely into Trelweny's braid. "Nenemne! Ero idme tabas! Ero idme tabas!" At her knee Caylee turned from her cherry cobbler &
"Meep"
ed, as if afraid of being left behind. Trelweny laughed freely. "As if I could leave either of you behind, with so much to learn about your kinds to be had there."

Where they sat the talaye twins shared a conspirital glance. "I think Fidelity & I will pass. We'd probably be to big inside." The ninau whinnied, as if Timex had come to that conclusion for himself.

Shippou chuckled, breaking his begging eyes. "We all know Locke's going to be otherwise engaged." He immitted his cait fawning over Aqua. "oh, Aqua. what pretty Wings you have? See me buy you pretty trinkets?" The green cait was turning quite a shade of red under his fur & ducking his head. "Cut it out, Shippou." He hissed under his breath.

The younger ones did not seem to be bothering to answer, as if the unspoken knowledge that they would be tired & probably in bed at the time was enough. Aiden looked thoughtful, however, as he tilted his head to one side & re-adjusted his headphones. A frame or two of Queen's "It's a Kind of Magic" could be heard faintly as he moved them. "Ye've not spoken a' this Koniryu since I've come to ye." Large yellow eyes gleemed in thought. "I think t'would be an experience I'd not pass up lightly." He cast a glance at Myranda. "If'n it's nay too much trouble fer ye, lass."

She waved his concern aside with a sweep of her black gloved hand & a short laugh. "If they're sleeping it's no hassle. As long as they've eaten. Even I'm not equiped to feed this lot alone."

Trelweny tried to hide her grin. Though the gaiacom was not keen on more matronly duties she suffered them quite well despite her emotion chip. "Well, I think everyone's had their say that wanted one. Tien, Caylee, Aiden & I will try to show up at the tavern tonight after supper. Hopefully we'll be able to meet up with you there, Shyam?"

As most of the flock had fur - or in Myranda's case, did not feel the weather- only Theron was a concern. Already dressed for the winter snows, it was only a matter of getting him out of the rising winds before the blizzard. "Yes. Perhaps it is time to be leaving. Our little family was always one for winter weather, but even Timex liked being inside when blizzards seemed about to blow."

Hastily everyone scurried around, placing what little food was left back into the cart in a chaotic organized fashion. Even the tiny faerie creatures helped, though as small as their loads were it was all the larger creatures could do to keep from laughing at them. "It's been a pleasure, Shyam."

She gave him an awkward hug, as if at one time she did so to everyone easily but was out of practice. The quieter tala, Fidelity, nuzzled her encouragingly.

((*edit* I had taken way too long to type up the last reply... having started it around 9 this morning est.... so I missed a few things by the time I sent it in. I'm sure we can work around anything tht doesn't mesh 100% *hugs*))

"I will gladly be there. And don't worry about it. after meeting this menagerie, there's little that can shock or surprise me now. Let alone an android And I didn't even know that technology had progressed from Air Ships to Androids yet. That's wonderful!!

"But let me help you pack up though. This is more than one person alone can handle." He began picking up empty plates and putting them in one bag, while doing his best to help cover whatever food was leftover.

"You can take home the rest of the fruits and baked goods. You've got more mouths to feed and I'd say they all enjoy it." He tossed another grape at Shippou with a free hand, while balancing bags and plates in the other, pushing his tired muscles to practice theri dexterity at all times. With his arms heavily laden, he made his way over to the cart the Ninau had been pulling and began securing things inside as the wind threatened to rip things out of his arms.

"It sounds like I neet to meet this Koniryu, but to treat him with subtle respect, giving him lots of personal space. I can respect that. You'll have to point him out to me so that I can recognize him, if he's at the tavern tonight." He returned to the blanket as it was trying to blow away in the wind as they removed more and more stuff from it.

The black Chocobo 'warked' at the dark clouds approaching.

"Yeah, we'd really better get you home before that hits," Shyam indicated the thick snow clouds.

"He's hard to miss... Koniryu has green fur & antlers. Nature god, if I remember right." Bundling Theron & the smaller pets into the wagon she covered it over with blankets. They all seemed tired from running around & eating all afternoon. Good thing home was not far off. Still, best to hurry them home. "Thanks, Shyam. See you tonight!"

With a wave to Shym she herded her procession back towards the woods at a brisk pace. Once within the trees at least they would have a wind barrier until they reached home.

Shyam eagerly returned the hug, since he'd never gotten much human affection in his life... he found that he really liked it.

"Please be safe," he encouraged her. I see you soon!"

He watched her disappear into the trees and then went and mounted Boko. "Time to get you back to your dishonest master." Shyam sighed, not looking forward to that unpleasant task, but he didn't want to stay out in the storm either. Quickly he spurred the black Chockobo on, and hurried home.
