Without thinking she moves to comply to his request. Her years living in captivity has left its mark on her in more ways than one. If given a direct request, even a politely said one, she obeys instantly. However the best vantage point to watch his back from, is a bit too high for her, and she doesn't want to leave his side. Instead Charis places a hand on his back, right between his shoulder blades and a few inches below his neck and pushes up. Using him as added support while she keeps a keen eye (bad joke, bad, bad joke) open.

Not for the first time since she lost her eye, Charis is wishing that she could have it back. However for a brief moment she stops watching the Space behind them and turns to look forward. Gasping in surprise at how a gigantic piece of metal can do so many different, and somewhat wonderful things at once. And to think! Akri Seisuke had many of these in his house, he actually fixed them! It is then that she decides to learn the art of maintenance for these wonderful creations as well.

Her cheeks warm as she blushes, but would nod her head. He is talking so familiarly with her, but then they have known each other for while now. In truth she sees being in space as nothing too different from living in the sea, you can go move in every direction, the major difference is that the sea is full of things. Space is empty. I suppose if I was alone I'd probably get lonely. Is one of the main thoughts running through her head right now. "No Akri, I was taught not to fear things like space." What she doesn't say is that she fears violent and mean spirited people more.

She would nod, relieved that the hostile encounter is over so quickly. Turning her gaze away from the endless expanse of space she would also turn her body back around. Her back now facing him while he guides the large mech back to earth. In the lack of gravity around them (I'm guessing) her hair would float off in all directions, as do her fins. "Would you like some fish this time, Akri?"

Her head would bob once in a nod to indicate that she heard his answer. On the rest of the journey she starts to think, wondering just how she should prepare the dish. It might be odd for someone like her to be offering to cook seafood, but if really thought about, it does make sense at the same time. Before they break atmosphere she turns to look over his shoulder, her upper body getting rather close to him. But she doesn't notice, shes just trying to get a final look of the stars when they're that close.

The one good eye that she does have widens, until all that can be seen is the black iris. Turning her head to look at him, she blushes when she realizes just how close she has gotten to him. As quickly as she can, she backs off, returning to where she had been circling around his legs. For a few moments she is silent, still avoiding directly looking at him while her face flushes. "If.. if you would like akri."

She nods, her fingers anxiously running through each other. Although normally she might play with her hair or whatever she has covering her upper body. Right now her hair is all over the place and twisting her fingers around is the most discrete way she has of being nervous.

As before she wraps herself around his lower half. Not because she wants to stay close to him, thats only a minor reason. But because she wants to stay clear of his view. It would be bad if something were to happen because one of her fins or her arm got in his line of sight. Although it looks like she is just looking around, getting another scope of the mech, she is actually taking pictures with Adelaide. The computer doesn't seem to mind, in fact its eagerly absorbing as much information that it can gleam from a simple observatory stance. No Adelaide seems to complain the most when Charis manages to sneak in a few snap shots of Seisuke, mostly from his back or the side of his head. During their flight she slips the watch onto her wrist. A slight tingle on her tail and its slowly been replaced by a pair of legs. Thankfully her decency has been covered by a pleated skirt and some sneakers.
