Her gaze flicked to the table as the tray suddenly appeared perfectly upon it & thought a loud and grateful Thank You suspecting the how & perhaps even the why. Keme was asleep beneath her & she relaxed more than she would have thought herself capable of. Her eyes grew dreamy and she softly hummed a tune she had heard Trelweny singing from time to time, thinking that she might have put it on Keme's harddrive or ipod yet not being able to place it.
His body was like a dream to her. Relm finished his back & automatically worked her way down the rest of his body with equal diligence, gently massaging each leg in turn, working down to very carefully massage his feet being very careful not to wake her sleeping love.

Keme softly snored as he slept, his tails twitching about as she continued to massage him, but he didn't wake up. She would probably have to shake him or some type of loud sound would be the only thing to wake him up.

Once she was fully satisfied Relm removed her fingers from Keme's feet, slowly scooting off the end of the bed -her eyes never leaving his prone form. With painstaking slowness the pictomancer removed her cape, knowing that had Keme turned himself up to her at any point during the masage and asked her if she was ready she would have been forced to honestly answer yes. She hung up her cape, took a long drink of water, then returned to watching Keme as her hand fumbled into her pocket for her brush. No painting tonight though.
"Float" The artist mage whispered softly, causing the sleeping Keme to hover perhaps half a foot from the bed.

Unfortunately Keme did wake up, just when she was floating him up off the bed. He yelped and panicked, flailing his limbs about a bit, trying to get down.

"Damn!" Relm swore, rushing the few feet back to the bed to throw her arms around the hummingbird male. "It's all right Love! It's all right! You're just floating! I'm sorry!"
Tears were trailing silently down her face and she felt absolutely terrible. Somehow in trying to get her arms around Keme as he flailed she had pushed the blankets & sheets on the bed into a bunch towards the wall though she did not notice it, laying on the bottom sheet, arms wrapped tightly around the audio she loved who floated just above her. "Oh, please calm down Love! I'll null the spell!"
Oh can't I do anything right?

Keme did calm down, his arms going limp as Relm wrapped her arms around him. But he panted, his heart beating hard against his chest, "R-r-r-relm? W-w-why am I....above your bed?" he asked, still somewhat asleep.

"I..I..I cast float on you, Love." Rising up she kissed his face lightly and tenderly, half in apology half just to do so. So relieved was she that Keme was no longer flailing in panic that Relm did not noitice what she was now calling him. Not that it changed anything. "I only wanted to try and get you under the covers without waking you." Sniffling she kissed his lips, pulling herself up to him to press against his floating body. "I'll get you down now, Keme my love."
With that she flicked her brush & dispell Keme of the spell upon him.... fogetting completely that she was beneath him.

Now fully awake, Keme wrapped his arms around Relm as she hugged him and kissed him and he kissed her back tenderly. He nodded when she said she would put him back down and he did go down. Right on top of her!! Realizing where he was, he quickly sat up and rolled off her, his face bright red as he rubbed the back of his head, "S-s-s-sorry about that!" he said, giving her a nervous smile, hoping she wouldn't think he was trying to start something she wasn't ready for.

She gasped to feel Keme's weight upon her, hardly getting time to think that she liked the feel of him ontop of her before he rolled off of her in a most gentlemanly manner. And she loved him all the more for it. And kicked that park of her that was wishing he had taken a bit more advantage of the situation than that. Eyes widening she blushed profusely, she sat up and moved into Keme's body wanting to comfort as well as to be comforted. "Don't be, Keme! If anyone should be sorry it's me! Normally I think things through better than I've been doing tonight! I just didn't think and I should have seen." Smiling in a very adorable fashion she kissed his nose. "I know how gravity works... and usually would take it into account. So don't be sorry, Love, okay? Forgive me?"

His blush dulled down a bit, glad Relm wasn't angry with him. He wrapped his arms around her when she came close and he kissed her cheek, chuckling, "Yes well...I didn't want you to think I was trying to start something!" he admitted.

Her heart beat fast. Start something! Do! Relm shoved that part of her back into its box. A flood of conflicting emotions flashed across her eyes. "Did that... did it make you want to start something?"
Relm bit her lip. There was no easy way to ask that question without it sounding like an invitation, and she was not sure that was not what she wanted. At that particular moment, she was too curious to not ask. Still for whatever reason she could not meet Keme's sincere brown eyes, a hand falling to her bed to pluck at the bunched blanked beside them nervously.

Keme grew quiet after Relm asked him that question and he looked down at his lap, "A small part of me does, a part that wishs to be that much closer to you. But most of me is willing to wait until you are truly ready. I'll wait for as long as you want to Relm, I really don't mind." he said, giving her a reassuring smile, wondering if that was what had her so quiet lately.

Espers, but he made her want him with his sweetness! How easy would it be to say: 'I'm ready, take me now'? And theoretically Relm knew of things to do to drive him absolutely insane and most likely test his resolve no matter what. And truth be told, part of her was very tempted. Particularly the part that gave others nicknames to distance her from them. But as she loved Keme, Relm was not about to test his resolve so callously. She would rather pleasure him with such knowledge, not torment him.
Ever so lightly she placed a hand on his thigh where his downcast eyes could see it. "Hummer..." Again the name was filled with emotion, with love ... more than any one word should be able to carry. "I... I'd like it to be perfect. Planned. Private. Special." Her blush deepened.
"Maybe I'm being silly... I know anything with you will be special. I know you will make it so. I trust you, Keme. I'm not sure I want to wait much longer... but if I do, it's not because I'm not ready." Moving closer Relm looked up into his sweet brown eyes , the light in her light green eyes smoldering softly. "I don't want it to be rushed... and... and I don't want to instigate it."
Lowering her gaze Relm started to pull her hand from his lap, to hers. She was shaking, not at all certain if what she said was clear. she knew if Keme understood that she could trust him to take care of everything. But had she been able to be understood? Had she made it clear that she wanted him to make the first move?

Keme looked down to her and listened as he talked. He didn't really blush as hard, and he leaned his head over Relm's as he took his hand from her lap and wrapped his arms around her tightly, kissing the top of her head as he whispered, "It will be special...and it won't be rushed....I think.....we will both know when the time is right." he whispered.
He knew most males would have said that time was now, but Keme knew in his heart it wasn't and he wasn't about to push Relm, especially not when both of their emotions were so high. No, now wasn't the right time, but Keme was willing to wait. He wasn't sure if it would be soon or much later, but he would keep waiting.

Closing her eyes Relm purred into the embrace, instinctively moving to be closer. She had a feeling that as far as her body & emotions were concerned, anytime was right as long as they weren't public or advertised somehow.
"I love you, Keme." Was all she could manage to say from the chacophy of her spinning thoughts as they started to fade, leaving her with only one thought -being snuggled in his embrace.
Relm did not even notice when she yawned softly into his chest, fingers clinging lightly to his fur.
