"Hello Peons!Rejoice for your salvation is at hand!" An announcer,dressed as a harlequin came dancing up from two red velvet curtains framing a mighty doorway. Women in gaudy tumbler's outfits followed,doing complex twists and spins while they flipped from foot to hand to foot to other hand etc. etc., down the red-carpeted line into the thread.
The harlequin smiles,leering a bit as he glances across the thread.
"And now to announce your new OverLord,your caring,trusted,all-powerufl new Ruler,The Great Ivellias!"He waved his hands for effect, though no one came out from behind the curtains.
"......."
"........THE GREAT IVELLIAS"The harlequin starts again,and fireworks go off, a long haired man coming out,wielding a het-black parasol and robed in an expensive black business suit, thin,desginer specs perched upon his nose.
The two female tumbles pose for effect as he walks between them,sighing and stretching with a yawn."mmmph that was a good nap...Oh."Looking around the thread and blinking."Ah.Right."
"Anyway, I am Ivellias,you may call me, well,Ivellias, or the Great Ivellias,or Ivel, etc. etc., thank you generic handshake #5"randomly shaking on of their hands,then yawns again,finding an available bench and setting his parasol up as a sunshade,curling up and taking a nap.
His attendants pack up the curtained door and walk out of the thread,leaving him there.

I logged on after the maintenance, and noticed that I had a PM. An invite to this guild awaited me, and since a very good friend of mine, had recommended that I join, I accepted.
