Sarah walked into her room and collapsed on her bed. "I can't beleive that father did that." She stands up and looks for her assistant to get her changed.

Sherri with some of her strength regained. She begins to clean up her area. She finds Miles's shirt and gun. "he might want these, but first I think he needs some sleep and then I'll take it to him to check on him." She says setting them down and then going around to finish cleaning up and cooking up a concoction for him.

"Thank you/" He whispered.

He took his shirt off knowing that she would want to look at him again to make sure he was all right. He laid down, and realized how hungry he was. He closed his eyes, and feel asleep pretty quickly. His shoulder hurt, but by resting he found the pain almost relaxing, like when you pull a muscle and lie down it feels cool and soothing somehow.

Miles was alseep, but as he breathed one could see his breath. The room was well lit, and very warm, so why was this? There was something about Miles that Sherri was about to learn if she pressed him on this.

Mile's eyes snap open, and pulls himself away.

"What did you see!" He almosted screamed at her.

He spat out the thermometer, and glared at her.

"Let me calm down first...Look...I'm not exactly a normal person." He whispered.

Miles sat up.

"I'm human don't get me wrong. It's just...I'm only half human." He tried to explain. "I'm...not a vampire or anything, but when I'm out of sorts my body changes it's temperature. My right side is very warm." He snaped his finger and there was a spark. "Where as my left." He picked up his water bottle and you could see the water freeze. "However when at peace." He concentrated on being his calm and collective self. "There is niether." His breath was no longer showing. "It's easy to control, it's weather or not I want it to." He stated. "While I was sleeping there was no reason for me to, and because of my colder side, if I let that take me over my body heals very quickly for some reason." He told her.

Miles saw his gun and took it.

"Please, don't tell anyone this." He told her. "I never ever use these abilities. NEVER, not even if my life depends on them. I never show them in front of anyone. Not once. I do this when I sleep mostly, to heal, or to let whatever it is I can do flow inside me so it can be relaxed when I want it to be." He explained to her. "Don't tell anyone." He couldn't express this more urgently to her.

"I'm part Highwind. It's not a vampire entirely, but a..." He couldn't find a way to discribe this. "The last person I talked to about this said I was a vampire demon, but the name for it is Highwind, because I'm still more human then anything. The sun won't bother me because I'm still living, if I where to die it wouldn't have mattered really." He explained. "They call that being pysonic, a pysonic can die and come back from the dead once a day, but if they die twice in a day they are dead. A person would have to kill me once, then kill my vampiric demon side to insure I wouldn't become a human after I've recovered." He tried to explain. "I'm sorry I bet that doesn't make any sense." He sighed.

Miles tried to hid his face from her. She didn't judge him, but he felt ashamed of who or rather what he was.

"I don't want to hurt anyone." He whispered.

He lived in fear of hurting an innocent person, but didn't mind killing a guilty person at all.

"I must sound crazy."He sighed.
