Hello everyone!
Thank you, Antlers, for inviting me to join. I'm sorry if I was a bit late in accepting, as I've been away from Gaia for a time. I took a break from the internet for a while, but I'm back. 3nodding
I enjoy horses and ponies very much, but do not have any of my own and know very little about them. But I love to learn new things and I think I will enjoy this guild!
I will admit that my favorite thing about them is their beauty, but they also strike me as a very wise animal, and one that often has a love of being sassy! I have a couple of friends who own horses.
I think I like ponies best. They don't get enough attention if you ask me. They're just fun personalities. My favorite character (after Beauty) in Black Beauty was definitely Merrylegs the pony!

Favorite Lesson Horse: Magic, my black baby boy. He also has a white star, and a long tail.
Anything Else: my fav trail ride horse is Prince heart , and someone in my extended family may be getting horses (again) and they would be open for my use too! omg, wouldn't that be totally, super fantastic!!! i know!

Own or lease a horse: *cries* no not YET but i have to horses that im assigned to ride!
Favorite lesson horse: Archie my big old(21 years) 16.2 hand leopard appaloosa! and Cutter my QH palimino
Anything else: i know i having been riding as long as some people is this guild but im progressing very well in my riding! i can canter 3'3" verticles!

If so, what is it's name, breed, color, size?: Technically it's a pony right now. I'm going to get my own horse soon. But her name's Ginger. I don't really know what color she is because i don't use color names like sorrel or bay. I just call them brown. So she's brown. She's practically a miniature because she's really short but she's technically not one.
Do you have a favourite lesson horse?: No.
Anything Else: Uh....nope.

Thankyou for the invite, though I should admit I don't actually work with horses, though my mum used to ride them. I do have an interest in them though, and also in the many different types of mythological equines as well. Though that last one you can probably tell from the picture in my sig.

Years working with Horses: forever but I started taking lessons at 5 and I'm almost 15 or will be in November.

Do you own (or lease) your own horse?: Own and my family currently owns 30 horses
If so, what is it's name, breed, color, size?: Sinbar, Peruvian Paso, chestnut & blonde, 15

Anything Else: In addition to the awesome pleasure of the Peruvian Paso my family offers a the Hippo-theraphy Riding Program to Special Needs Adults and children, stroke victims and anyone else that is interested and we have a waiting list at all times and never turn anyone way.

Current discipline(s) you are training in: I'm training for a rodeo, I ride western and trails, and I am trying to get one of my cousin's horses back into riding shape. (He doesn't want to listen to commands form the rider, anybody else, he's fine with)
Do you own (or lease) your own horse?: I used to, her name was Angel. I do ride and take care of my cousin's horse though.
If so, what is it's name, breed, color, size?: My old horse was Angel, she was two (I broke her), she was a Rocky Mountain Mare, and she was brown (not bay or chestnut, brown) and had a dark cream mane. My cousin's horse's name is Calloway, he's 12 or so I think, a light bay with a black mane and tail, and he is a cross between a Thoroughbred and a Quarter horse.
Do you have a favorite lesson horse?: Not really, as long as the horse I'm riding actually takes a little bit of skill and attention and not some Grand Canyon trail donkey, I'm great!
Anything Else: I want to have a horse sanctuary with my boyfriend one day to take in horses to heal physical or mental trauma they have undergone. I also want to compete in rodeos and breed horses (a cross of Arabians and Mustangs)

Years working with Horses: None, sadly...I've always wanted to..but my family and I live in a small city, and could never afford a horse or the proper things to take care of one at the moment. But, I'm not going to lie when I say my dream is to move out into the country and buy some.

Anything Else: I love horses D: Lawl, I've always hated the fact that I could never have one. Ever since I was little I always told my parents I wanted one...What I hate most is that since I live in Texas, people automatically put me in the category of being a 'ranch' owner or something like that. Sort of agitates me to say the least. But, I'm gonna at least have a country house when I get older and buy some horses.

If so, what is it's name, breed, color, size?: Darbi is a 7 years old danish warmblooded. She's brown with black feet, mane tail. I think she's around 1,7m high. She's kinda weird sometimes, but she's often cute, and she really do her best the times that nothing's bothering her, unfortunally that's not often -_-'
Do you have a favourite lesson horse?: Leo <3 an old danish warmblooded who has learned me almost everything I know about riding, including how it is to fall of xD I love this horse<3 I just went to my first little dressagecompetition with him outside the stable! It went suprisingly well! We didn't know how he would react, since he hasn't been transported or been outside the area of the stable for several years. He's known for making people fall off when he's bored or scared, but he didn't even think about it when we wen't to the competition! He was a really good boy <3

No Cetchar is my fav but hes mine
Anything Else:
I have trained Cetchar since I got him. He has learned things in one day that takes other horses weeks to learn. He's too smart for his and mine own good.

Do you have a favourite lesson horse?: a friesian named Fabien (I believe that is how you spell his name)
Anything Else: Spends a few months at a time working with them for the last 4 years; would ultimately say I've only really been around horses for a total of 1 full year. I enjoy being around them a lot, and I'm striving to learn really anything I can when the opportunity presents.
