Cathy Lee ArynChris What the--? A.C. was just down the wall about a hundred feet, scouting out a path ahead of a group of refugees she was leading out of Pheonix. How the heck did she find that door? Unless Erica and What's-his-name were actually paying attention and spread the word... Whatever.
"'Scuse me!" she called over. "You okay?" ((Sorry, I should have specified that she was going out the door, not coming in.)) As she collapsed through the door, she thought she heard someone calling after her - but after crossing the city from the Colliseum, dodging guards all the way, she wasn't about to stop and see who it was. She sat in the shade of the outer wall tried to catch her breath. She saw Garrett just a short distance away, but he was facing the other direction and didn't seem to have noticed her yet. As she got her breath back, it slowly dawned on her that the voice hadn't come from behind her... She looked away from the guy with the gun (Garrett), who was leaving anyway, and saw A.C., who she recognized from her briefings in Krovh. "Yeah, I'll be alright..."

A.C. eyed her for a moment, not letting much skepticism show.
Finally, she jerked her head back the way she came. "I'm getting people out of here. Wanna come?"

"Sure...Just let me..." She climbed slowly to her feet and stretched a couple of times.
Her clothes were stained and torn, she was missing a shoe, and the slave collar around her neck showed scorch marks where it had shorted out.
With a grimace, she kicked off her remaining shoe, and then walked over to A.C. She offered her hand, "Cathy Lee, formerly of UC-PSO."

A.C. whistled a single low inward, then a catcall outward, and the busted slave collar fell off. Some of the circuits don't short out as easily as the inhibiting ones, and that little trick had been snuck in by the original creator--in case someone ever decided to put one on him.
A.C. shook her hand strongly, the Midwestern way. "A.C., formerly AoH, former Union City gopher. Current mission is to get everybody out of the triplet towns here as want to go, especially the humans and children. I'm got a mixed group at the moment, but most think they're all human and exiting is an urgency. Can you pretend you were a human slave to the AoS?" She gestured to her own throat, indicating the marks the collar had left on Cathy's neck.

A.C.'s expression hardened. "No one will try to stop us in the middle of trying to blow everything up like this. I've gotten five groups through already--one of them a hundred people--and nobody noticed a thing. If it wasn't to our advantage, I'd say it was pathetic." She sounded contemptuous. "But you're right that I doubt these jokers will notice. You're powers are what, Kung-Fu style, right? They've seen my kickboxing, so they'll just assume you're really good at it. Come."
She headed swiftly back the way she came, assuming Cathy would follow and worried about leaving her charges for too long.
