Okay, I might get hurt for this but...
I like Jacob.
He's doing his best to cope, and sometimes, I feel like Bella does really love him, but still clings to Edward. Jacob would never, ever hurt Bella like Edward has.
I like that.

I was really starting to get mad at him in the end of new moon but all the rest of the time he was just trying to help bella since Edward left her.

gah! I never really liked Jacob, due to the fact of the whole 'racist' thing
(liek the way he's always calling the Cullens leeches or bloodsuckers)
I cannot stand people like that.
That and the fact that he was obsessibly obsessed with Bella,
and making her talk about the Cullens, and their special powers.
and that's that.

okay well... I donno i'm sort of confused at the moment. I love how Jacob was helping Bella. but i hated it when he ditched her... even though that wasn't reeeeealy his fault. I also don't like how bitchy (pardon my laguage) he's being about Bella still loving Edward. In truth i think he is a nice person and i thgink he's just trying to protect Bella and is a little jealous. There. That's my opinion.

I'm kind of half and half at the moment with Jake. I'm kinda peeved at him for trying to get in the way of Edward and Bella, but I understand.
He's a werewolf and Edward is a vampire. They're mortal enemies and if there is one thing that they like in common, they will fight over it. In this case, it is Bella.
Of course, I wasn't just mad at Jake, but I was also mad at Edward for being stupid blaugh

Jacob really does make me mad! I mean, he was sooo innocent in Twilight, then in New Moon, because of his change, he just doesn't really appeal to me anymore...
And I hate how New Moon is mostly about him and Bella, I wanna read more on Edward!!! (I can totally envision him when he was shirtless in the Vadican)

i love jake, all through new moon i was hoping that they would get togehter because Bella was saying that she loved him and could see them with each other that it wouldnt be so bad.....then edward came back into the picture! dont get me wrong, edward and Bella are my favorite chracters but i was soooo rooting for Bella and Jake and i was pissed as hell when she gave up everything (even her beloved Jake) just to be with him again!

I love Jacob. Not nearly as much as Edward, but I love him. Jake is adorable. He has so many imperfections that make him incredibly endearing. He's the boy-next-door you care for but can never truly love because you've got Mr. Perfectly-Right-In-Every-Perfect-Way.
Imagine if Edward never happened (a ghastly thought, I know). But what if. Wouldn't you be obsessed with Jacob because of how carefree and happy he makes you feel? Just his being there makes the cruel world a hopeful place again for Bella. I think she described him as her own personal sun at some point in New Moon. If Edward never happened, there wouldn't be so much Jacob hatred in the world. How anyone could despise the imperfectly-adorable-perfect Jacob is beyond me.
I know, he doesn't want Bella with Edward, but he really cares about her and hates Edward for leaving her (and there's the whole mortal enemies/he wants to eat Bella thing). Weren't you ticked off at Edward when he left too?
Jake's doing the best he can. He's more human than Edward, after all. Can't you give him a break? I can't imagine not loving Jacob, but to each her own, I guess.

Alright, here is my stance on Jacob.
In the beggining of New Moon, I had nothing against his character and sort of liked him. I thought it was nice of him to befriend Bella in her time of need and help her cope. When New moon progressed I started getting a different vibe from his character. Especially after he told Bella he had feelings for her but she said she didn't return them. After that Jacob was persistent about his feelings for Bella.
I felt that he was taking advantage of Bella when she was still upset and messed up from the whole Edward ideal. During this time Bella had no clue what to do and here Jacob is pushing his feelings onto her. It made me feel as if Jacob was trying to guilt trip her into getting together with him. Yes, I do realize he cares for her but I don't think he should push his feelings on her like that. I would like him better if he would hide it until she maybe made an advance.
Another thing I dislike about Jacob is how sarcastic he is when Edward returns. I think they could have been some kind of friends and I think Jacob is being a drama king and taking it to far.
I don't hate Jacob. I just have a strong dislike for how he handled things.

I have 2 admit he did get me really mad in the Epilogue but I still like Jake he was a great friend 2 Bella I know he wanted more and some ppl think he is selfish but he just loves Bella and 2 me thats not a crime 3nodding
