I saw Scary Movie 4 the other day... it was so stupid. I loved it! I was laughing the entire time with my ex-best friend.

And then the other night I tried to watch Wolf Creek with my boyfriend and we couldn't get through it. Yes, I am a wimp. To give you an idea, I had nightmares for a week, and couldn't go near windows, for a week after watching "Signs". ><

Jesu Christo. It didn't affect me quite to that extent, but..
I definitely feel like a wimp when I admit it because apparently it's not, "that scary". Whatever. I hate things jumping out at me.
And besides, overactive imagination, particularly at night + photographic memory = not a good combination for scary movies.
I am, however, proud to admit that I found The Exorcist hilarious, and White Noise pretty ridiculously bad/not very scary.

I saw this one movie this morning (forgot its name ) it was like trapt or something where this guy and his wife and this one fat guy named marvin kidnap rich peoples kids and one day the kidnaped this child of a docter. The girl has asma and her parents are like fighting with the people to get her back to give her medicine. there was a scean where the evil guy is trying to make the woman have sex with him and she takes out a scalpling knife (cause we all have those lying in our back pocket) and she says shes gonna cut off his twins and little jimmy. I was like you go girl!

Heh. I read the book that was based on. It sucked sad . just your run-of-the-mill thriller.

Have you ever seen Plan 9 from Outer Space? It's from the 50's. It's a great movie only because it's so poorly made and funny.

The aliens were invading because the Humans were on the verge of inventing,(dramatic pause)... SOLARINITE! The bomb that would ignite sunlight!

"Ignite the sunlight here, gentlemen - and you ignite the sunlight everywhere!"

My other favorite line was,

White noise would have been way better if I was not able to predict the whole movie. I was sitting there in the theater, telling my friend next to me what was going to happen next. She finally got fed up with me and moved away for a bit. I have a photographic memory. And yeah, the Exorcist was pretty funny...

Has anyone else seen The Da Vinci Code movie? I thought that it was really pretty good, considering how excellent the book was. Unlike most film adaptations, the plot was there--they didn't rape the book and sell its bloody carcass, they just gave it a few papercuts.

I saw it last friday, when it first came out. And yeah, I thought it was pretty good mrgreen . I preferred the book, but books always > their movies anyway. The actors were well-chosen in my opinion: the way Teabing was presented, although slightly different to the book, was fantastic! Made me laugh so much. Tatou is just how I imagined Sophie. The worst bit was probably Hanks' hair. What the hell happened there? xd

I've seen it twice. The most recent time was with my studio class for lecture period. xD
I haven't read the book yet though.

My dad has the book somewhere. As soon as I find it, I'm going to read it. 3nodding It's probably somehwere in my mom's storage room. That's where a lot of my Dad's stuff went after their divorce. sweatdrop

I've never seen the movie but I read it about a year ago and loved it. The slang didn't confuse me for some reason, after the first chapter or so I was fine.

I saw X-Men III over the weekend. Now, the first one I didn't like. I wasn't happy with their choice of acter to play Cyclops, and I thought Wolverine was too tall. I also didn't some of the corny lines such as "You know what happens to a toad when it's struck by lightning? Same that happens to everything else." And speaking of storm: what a fake a** wig.

Then X-II came out, and it was infinitly better, but could use a little tweeking.

Now, we have X-III, and they finally got it right. I have no real complaints other than that this will be the last one. Why, when they finally figure out how to do it, do they quit? I heard a bunch of rumors such as: Halle Berry doesn't want to act anymore, but it still makes me sad. A lot of the new wave of comic book movies aren't that good, so I like to hold on to the ones that are. Oh well, there's gonna be a Wolverine and a Magneto movie comming out. I hope they can keep me entertained.

Yeah.. I'm sorry but I thought it really wasn't that good a movie. Entertaining, but not that good. For example, Angel, They made a big deal out of him, but he wasn't in the movie for more than five minutes. Same with Leech boy, though he was in it for longer. And Phoenix, she didn't seem that much like the actual Phoenix, the real Phoenix would have destroyed the earth and gone off to look for other victims halfway through the movie. The plot was predictable, and the acting was really bad. Some of the things I liked however, was the subplot about Iceman and Rogue. I think that was one of the few really good parts about the movie. It reminds me of abortion in a way. Also Juggernaut, I can't beleive they included Cain "Juggernaut" Marko, they should have included Black Tom, but you can't have everything. One gripe about Sir Jugs, he shouldn't have had to run through those walls, Juggernaut doesn't run, he just walks calmly through anything you place in his way.

Honestly, Jug was my biggest problem because he isn't a mutant. He is supposed to get his power from his helmet which is supposed to be magical. That was my one true complaint. I feel you on the rest of your issues, but I think that happened, because they knew this was gonna be the last one, so they crammed as much stuff in it as possible, hense Angels cameo, and not diving too deep into the phoenix. I still liked it, and I hope when it comes out on DVD it has the Lord of the Rings style extra hour of cut footage.

I went and saw Over the Hedge. It was loads of fun...and I love the role Junkfood plays in this one! It is definately worth seeing.

I also bought Cave(the DVD) and watched that the day before yesterday. It is one hell of a good movie. I loved the music, the drama, and the creatures looked real as hell. It sucked that the one who put up the best fight(it was a cool fight scene) died.
