((Hahaha, sorry again... my computer was giving me SUCK ISSUES! I couldn't have too many programs running at once... and... it was just... URGH! But it's cool for now... sooo... HERE I GO!))

Cherokee took this news in silence. He stared off fixedly at a distant space, his normally so focused and intense gaze blurred with thoughts. After Enzo got up and began to pace he decided to speak:

"We'll find it." He said.

He didn't give any reassurance of finding it back at the alley or any logic that it had probably aleready been found. Either way, Cherokee knew they'd find it, whether by force or otherwise. This seemed reassurence enough in itself.

Cherokee then reached out with a large hand to grasp Enzo gently by a shoulder. "Relax. There is nothing we can do until morning. So, until then... chill." He then released him and turned towards the door. "I'll see you tomorrow. Meet me in the morning."

He didn't need to give a place, they always met in the same place, and with that he gave his friend a nod and strode out the door.

When Cherokee made it home to his apartment (a slightly less dumpy place than Enzo's... with a lot more stray cats) he collapsed onto his bed and fell asleep with dreams fuller than he remembered them ever being.

((WHEEEEEE... he likes kittens!())

((My computer does that with I use Adobe. So whenever I do, I always shut down all my messengers and internet stuff. D: Haha computers are stupid sometimes...

Next day! Yay!))

The sounds of her neighbors upstairs moving about cause Amma to finally wake up from her long and deep slumber. She heard the children squealing and giggling and even smelled the faint scent of lunch being cooked. It made her always nostalgic, not about her childhood, but about the childhood she always dreamt of. Having a mother who cared about you and cooked for you, helped you through girly growths that only they knew about truly, and lent a shoulder to cry on. Having a father who was always sober, always working and bringing home a salary so you could live in a decent place instead of a third rate motel room and moving each week. Being normal.

With a groan she pushed herself up, untangling from the sheets and stumbling over her books that were piled all over her room. (She had never gotten an education...instead she forced herself to learn by books, as much as she could.) Her first step was taking a shower, cleaning everything...but her lips. She then brushed her teeth, put on a red and white striped long sleeve shirt and baggy jeans. Her stomach growled angrily, forcing her out of the door and into her car to get a late breakfast from a nearby restaraunt.

The red mustang she drove was now parked outside the park, which was conveniently placed on neutral grounds, it didn't belong to either gang. If there was any place she could get away from her life it was here. She sipped on her coffee and put the half eaten McGriddle ((I forgot what they are called...XD)) on the park bench.

Her unevenly colored eyes watched children run around and hang from monkey bars, but her mind was elsewhere. Her mind was on everything that had happened, and everything that would happen. Why did she ever have to run off last night...none of this would have ever happened. Then again...maybe it was a good thing...she met those two afterall, met him. But got them into huge danger too...she got herself into danger.

"I hate it." she whispered and starred at the breakfast sandwich, no longer hungry. She then pulled out her cellphone and looked up her history, finding Cherokee's phone number. She added it to her phone book under "Big Guy", just to be safe, and watched the screen, reading the numbers as she remembered last night. That was the happiest second she thought she could ever remember...it even surpassed the time she and Darius went out all night partying and having the time of their lives.

A smile spread on her face and her fingers twitched. She couldn't call him. They probably would never even see eachother again. Sure he said they would, but men never kept promises. With a little sigh, she closed the cellphone, took out a cigarette and lit it up.

((Wheee, Amma's happy! Yay! *dansu*))

Enzo forced himself to stop walking and nodded, giving Cherokee a half-hearted wave as he walked out the door, "Righto," He murmured, kicking his shoes off and stripped down to his boxers. The young man looked particularly emaciated; nothing but skin and bones, a bit of muscle if you looked hard enough. The crook of his left arm was bruised and red, as it always was. He looked tired, stressed, and weary. With a sigh, he flopped onto his sorry excuse for a bed and willed himself to try and sleep.

It was a few hours after dawn when Enzo woke up. A small beam of sunlight had managed to penetrate his dirty window and settle on his face. He squinted and sat up, looking tiredly at his wristwatch - the thing never left his wrist. He cursed quietly under his breath at what time it was and quickly rummaged about his belongings until he found a grey button-up shirt, a white tank top to wear underneath, and some worn blue jeans. The knees had long ago been blown out, but he didn't particularly care. Half-buttoning and half-tucking in his shirt, he grabbed a bagel and hurried out of his apartment, hardly bothering to lock it behind him. There was nothing worth stealing in there anyway.

The park was only a few blocks away, and on his walk, Enzo quickly ran his hands through his hair to rid it of the bed-head look and mindlessly downed the bagel. He arrived barely in time for their usual meeting, and sat heavily on a park bench. It was a crisp autumn morning, and at the very least, he felt somewhat refreshed. Maybe things would work out. After all, Cherokee said they would right? He'd find his phone, and all would be well.

His dark eyes scanned the area, looking for Cherokee, who oddly enough, seemed to be late. He DID however, spot Amma and gave a silent curse. Enzo hoped he wouldn't be noticed by her... And the same with Cherokee. Them meeting up in such a public area would be a murder waiting to happen.

((haha THAR!))

Cherokee had never been the one to be late to a meeting. In fact, if anything, he was usually the one who showed up too early, but on this morning while he was dreaming pleasantly there came a loud and irratated knock on his door. He was pulled from his dreams regretfully and opened his eyes into tired slits to take in his dimly lit room. A cat by his pillow mewed in greeting, sliding passed his cheek and coiling a tail under his chin before leaping off his bed to prowl with the other cats who were awaiting their breakfast.

The tired man almost settled back into his pillows once more, figuring the knock on the door had been for someone else, but just as he was about to drift off, the door slammed open instead. Cherokee was on his feet, a cat yowling and hissing as it was thrown from his bed atop the tall man's back. Cherokee quickly swung to face the door only to find someone he'd rather not see this early in the morning.

A tall and shapely woman stood there in about her late twenties. She was perfectly blonde and pale, with cool grey eyes that reguarded all of mankind with an equally frosty glare. She had now fixed this unforgiving rueful stare onto Cherokee. He regaurded her in his uncaring fashion and turned to scoop a shirt from the floor to cover his bare chest. He quickly tossed it on.

"What you want?" He asked of her in his uninterested tone. Though, he already knew very well just what she wanted, and he actually had to work to hide his pleasure.

The woman pursed her lips. "That's all you have to say?" She sneered, and kicked at a cat that had tried to rub up against her legs. "Still living in a godamnned animal shelter, I see." She remarked and then turned into the hall for a moment returning with a small girl clasping to her hand. "I need you to watch Emily today." She said.

The young girl, a blonde like her mother and pale, grinned a happy smile at seeing Cherokee's tall form. "Daddy!" She exclaimed, and tugged at her mother's hand to let her free.

"Will you do it?" The blonde wanted to know, gripping onto the small girl's hand in an almost annoyed fashion. "I've got things to do today and I don't need her hanging around."

Cherokee's pale eyes flashed to the woman for a moment, but then turned smilingly onto Emily. "Fine, Karen." Is all he said, a rather cold note in his voice. He made no remark of her 'things to do' and only avoided looking her in the eyes... the only person he would ever looking in the face. It was not out of shame, but of contempt.

Karen gave a relieved and released Emily's hand. The young girl dashed to her father and he bent low to scoop her up into a large hug. His immobile features broke into a smile.

"Hey, kiddo." He whispered into her curly hair.

Emily giggled. "Hey, cheif." She replied in a voice that could only come from a daughter for her father.

The tall blonde pulled a cigerrette and lighter from her pocket. With shaking hands she lit up. "Good." She replied just as coldly. "You take good care of her, alright?" She snapped and glancing at the two for a moment with what looked like loathing and something of jealousy, she stormed from the apartment.

Cherokee lifted the small girl up into his arms. "We'll have a great time today, kiddo. You'll see... you me and Enzo, ok?" He smiled in a gentle fashion. "How's the park sound. You want some McDonalds?"

Emily let her answer be known by smiling a great and angelic smile. Cherokee ruffled her curly pony tail and quickly got ready to go.

Not too much later Cherokee arrived at the park, with Emily piggy backing it on his lean back, a happy meal in hand. He appraoched Enzo on his bench and sort of shrugged his shoulders.

"Sorry." He said. "Got company today."

Emily laughed and reached out her small hands to Enzo. "Uncle!" She cried.

(( XD Haha oh my god...that's gonna make things interesting...*cackles*))

Amma took a huge drag of her cigarette, letting the nicotine calm her nerves. She had been frazzled all morning over emotions she couldn't understand. A bruise had formed on the right side of her cheek from where Darius had handled her and her left arm was sore. That was the story of her life though, fights and more fight, anger and more anger, depression and more depression.

Her cellphone burst out into song just as she heard two familiar voices, though it didn't register into her fuddled brain. The ring caused her to jump and spill her coffee all over the bench and on her half eaten brunch. "s**t!" she yelled somewhat loudly, a few mothers looking in her direction and giving her annoyed glares. She glared back and hurried to answer her phone.

"What?" she demanded, now extremely irritated and quickly trying to clean up her mess, some of it stinging her hands with the liquid's immense heat.

"Boss's lookin' for ya, says ya guyses gots stuff to dos." come a high pitched male voice.

"Joker. Why's he makin' you call me and not him?"

"After the fight last night he seems nervous to talk to you."

"Serves him damn right, beating me up over not doing what he says. Ahhh the coffee stained my sleeve."

"Yeah. So...what?"

"Tell him he needs to learn that he isn't my boss. I'm not doing ANYTHING today. I'm sitting here all day and mopping about, watching children do things I want to, wanted to as a kid."

"Aight Am. Talk to yous lateh'" Joker hung up, leaving Amma to shove the cell phone angrily in her pocket and finish dabbing the coffee up. Afterwards she took the cigarette out of her mouth and threw her brunch into the trash can, can't eat a soggy biscuit.

"Why are you so damn jumpy? Not like you..." A child starred at Amma curiously as the woman talked to herself.

"What? Do I have a pimple?" She asked, making the little boy laugh and hand her a ring that had fallen off her finger. "Oh...er..." She took the ring and patted his head nervously. "Thanks kid...now go off and play with your buddies." He did just that.

Finally she put the cancer stick back into her mouth, letting it dangle from her lips. Looking at her red pumas she began back to the bench, her fingers twitching. She was about to sit down when she caught something out of the corner of her eye and she almost fell off the bench, but "gracefully" collapsed on the damp wooden structure in a heap of nerves. "Well isn't this just great." She muttered to herself. He'd see her like this, strung up, anxious, and beaten up. "I should go home then." Nodding to herself turned away slowly in the other direction and started moving towards her car...until the fact a child was him registered and she turned around, glarring. He had a KID? So he was married? What was she to him then? Of course, a jealousy tool, to make his wife jealous because of a fight they had. Ooooh that always worked, always did with her parents.

She kept her calm though, hissed, turned around and tripped over the same boy that had given her the ring back. She fell face first into a pile of sand, destroying said boy's sandcastle.

((haha...sorry...that was longer than it should have been. D: *is gone*))

((Hahaha interesting indeeeed. XD))

Ah, no wonder Cherokee was late. Attached to him was a little blonde girl happily swinging a happy meal box. He didn't seem to mind much, which was far from surprising. She was his daughter after all. "As I can see," Enzo stated coolly before he broke into a wide, toothy smile and reached out to gather the young girl into his lap.

She couldn't have been much older than four, maybe five, and was bubbly and bouncing and just about out of her head with the excitement of spending the day with her daddy and uncle. "Emily!" Enzo said back, tapping her lightly on the nose. "And how are YOU this morning? Looks like you got an early lunch. What toy did you get?" He moved to try and open her happy meal box, allowing her to dive in the moment he tried.

As she dug through the fries and burger to get to the prize, Enzo caught Cherokee's gaze, "She dumped her on you again, didn't she?" He sounded a bit irked to say the least. "You know, you really should do something about her, yeah? I thought you said you'd talk to her..." he trailed off.

From the corner of his eye, he caught sight of Amma hurriedly walking away, then turning around and tripping, falling flat on her face. He winced, "It's gonna be hard work today with her along." Enzo smiled at Emily when she looked up at hearing her name, and tugged at her pony tail.

"Not to mention..." he threw a thumb in Amma's direction, "Whether or not she saw us, she's here. We have to be careful... If she got ahold of that phone..." A hand snaked its way through his hair and his knee started bouncing. Emily gave a bit of a giggle at the unexpected ride of sorts. "Maybe you should ask her. She fell on her face just over there." He gave a bit of a laugh and checked his watch.

((hahahaha I have really no idea what to write... SO THERE IT IS! I also didn't know if Emily was an NPC of sorts or yours, Aka... Sooooo, I PLAYED IT SAFE YAY! *spins around and goes to bed*))

((Hahaha, mmmm'yessssss... :9))

Cherokee might have smiled as Enzo took Emily into his lap, but had then shoved his hands in his pockets and was rather expressionless just as fast. Emily was quite pleased by this action and gave a little 'wheeee' sound as she was lifted down from her father's height to Enzo's lap.

She giggled as he tapped her nose and she pushed his hands away with her smaller ones. "Chief got me a HAPPY MEAL." She said of the question about her state of being and showed him the little cardboard box. "I dunno about the toy..." She said thoughtfully, her lower lip pulled into a thoughtful pout, but when he began going through her happy meal she gave a little yowling: "Noooooo!" though was still smiling as she tried to tug his hands from her lunch.

Cherokee glanced at Enzo at his remarks. "Yeah." Was his easy response, and shrugged. "But I don't really mind so much... I don't get to see her otherwise." And that was perfectly true, but it didn't change the fact he shouldn't be taking her with him at all.

"Are you talking about MEEEE?" Emily wanted to know.

Cherokee's mouth twitched and he tugged on one of her curls, but said nothing. Though, he perked up again at 'she's here'. He looked up at insantly found this 'she's here'. He glanced at Enzo briefly before striding over to where Amma had done a rather graceless face plant into a boy's sand castle. Emily turned to watch her father for a moment, but then returned to her happy meal, at to which she extracted her prize. She frowned though and handed it to Enzo.

"That's doofy, Uncle Enz... It's a little pony. I wanted the hot wheels." She said of it, and patted him on the side of his face. "I'll let you have it." And she wore the expression of a benevolent queen who had thusly bestowed cake onto her people. ((HAHAHAHA. I dunno WHYYY that's funny XDDD;; ))

The boy who's sand castle Amma had fallen in seemed to find what had just occurred very funny indeed, and was laughing at her. Though, the boy stopped laughing when Cherokee had stepped up, in fact he seemed to pale a little and then scurried away to find his mother.

Cherokee's eyes flickered after the boy for a moment before he knelt down beside the fallen woman. "Hey." He said and gently eased her into an upright position. "Real smooth." He remarked of her sandy features, with a joking smile flashing across his features.

((TA DAH! READY GO!))
PostPosted: Tue Feb 27, 2007 12:25 pm

When Cherokee helped her up, she felt like she was on the verge of tears. She wanted so badly just to get out of there and never see his face again, but something kept her still, something she wanted to get rid of. The bruised side of her face was covered with sand and she quickly rubbed it off, causing pain in the process. Her hands trembled noticably, anxiety and confusion making her stomach sick and her head pound.

His smile made her look away, it was fake, why would he smile for someone like her? She was the worst possible person to care for, which was proven true by having only Darius care about her, to a point she hated. No one cared for her in the right way, in the way she felt safe with. No one she could trust, not even herself.

She glanced up at him, eyes darting about. "He...hey." Her voice was forced and shaky. Her heart thudded against her chest, she was sure he could hear it, everyone in the park could hear it.

"I was just about to leave." A scowl crossed her face and she stood up, dusting off whatever sand she could. Where was she going to go? Home? Darius would find her there. In fact, he would find her anywhere. The thought made her even more sick, jumping nerves causing a nausiated feeling. She laughed pathetically at the thought, making her look out of her mind, more than she already did.

"Yeah...leave...I..." Finally she turned around hands shaking as they were shoved into her pockets. "I...I'm going to be sick..." She said to herself and then began to run for her car. Maybe she could drive to the east coast, live in South Carolina or something, no one would find her there. She could wallow in self pity all she wanted. No one knew her, no one ever saw her, and no one she felt anything for would be there. "I'll throw up and go to South Carolina."

((Haha she gets sick when she gets worked up...It's strange...haha she's so weird...and emotional. *laughs* But she usually isn't like this...so don't expect me to over do it or anything...I won't. x3 Sicker or more sick?...))

((DUN DUN DUUUN!... Go Cherokee GOES! *leaps about*))

Cherokee looked rather confused by her expression and the fact that she seemed to shy away from his smile. It vanished in an instant. He raised a hand briefly before dropping it again, and his eyes searched her face as though he might be able to read her troubles from looking at her. He felt a rage grip him at the sight of bruises on her face. Cherokee felt his jaw clench, and his large hands form into fists.

"Who did that to you?" He asked with a bit of edge to his tone.

She seemed very insistent on leaving however and turned around to leave him there. He watched her shaking hands and wished to steady them as they were placed into her pockets. He continued to watch after her as she ran for her car, but not for long. He was on her in mere moments with his long legs and pulled to a halt in front of her, gripping her arms losely and his intense gaze fixed on her face.

"You don't have to stay..." He said quietly in a tone that betrayed his expressionless face. He wanted her to stay, but was still to frustrated with this need to say it out loud. He didn't understand why someone who had been so glad to be with him before could suddenly not stand to even look at him. It made it hard for him to breathe.

He shook his head, eyes still on her's demanding they return his gaze. "but tell me... please tell me, who did that to your face." He cupped her chin briefly with a hard look on his face. "I wanna beat the s**t out of them. If someone's hurting you..." He trailed off, bending down so he was more at her level. "I want to know... and who they are, and where they live, and how you want me to off 'em."

((hahaha, he's so protective and CONFUSED!)))

((...:[ Can I have Cherokee? *tugs at him* I want him...he's so cute. Wheee. XD Haha. Man I want a man like him when I get a guy...))

Amma looked startled when he stopped her, but winced slightly as he touched her sore arm. Her eyes watched him closely before stinging with held back tears. She closed them and let him touch her chin, his hand sending a chill down her spine, a chill she enjoyed emmensly. Opening her eyes again she saw he had knelt down, it made her feel like a child. She laughed at him, though it wasn't her normal joking good-humored laugh when she messed around with someone.

Her hands clutched her cell phone when he asked that question. How was she supposed to answer? If she told him the truth it would get him into even more danger than he already was with Darius. God help him. Frowning, she shrugged slightly, trying to put on her best act, which wasn't prize winning at the moment in her condition.

"I fell." She said simply, eyes moving towards the children playing. "You saw how clumsy I am. Last night I tripped on my stairs and ran into the banister." Her voice caught in her throat and she squeezed her eyes shut. "You can't be serious. You act like you really care for me. All men are pigs, my dad was, his dad was, my whole god-damned family was, Darius is..." she cut off and breathed in deeply. "You're lieing aren't you? Look at me, I don't even know you besides your FAKE name and that you're handsome and tall...and..." Her lips trembled and she pulled back from him, hands pulled out the keys, clattering together as they shook.

She pushed him aside and began messing with the keys, missing the lock completely, chipping silver paint until finally she threw them to the ground and punched the side of it, causing a good dent and the mothers again to glare in her direction. "I've never been like this! The last time was like 6 years ago while that b*****d still lived with me." Talking to herself. "Life just can't stand me to be happy for even half a day." She picked up her keys again, nearly everyone nearby watching the crazy lady break down.

"God..." She whispered and knelt down to pick up her keys again, tears finally dropping from her eyes and down her chocolate creamed face. "Why does he have to ruin everything." She put her palms flat on the hot black surface and looked towards Cherokee. "He never touched me like that before unless it was some kind of joke. I hated my father...I don't want to live through that again."

((Woo. Haha I think everyone's confused at this point...XD ((

((Hahaha, Cherokee is very sweet o.O A GENTLE GIANT!... Who loves KITTEHS. That's the kinda man all women looks for!... 'Cept the dumb ones that look for the idiots who treat them bad. SOME WOMEN ARE SO STUPID! *rant rant rant!... posts!*))

Cherokee was quiet as she spoke, looking intently at her face. Not for a moment did he believe her about her falling, but he made no remark of it. It was easy to tell she was lying. She wouldn't look at him, and her voice had a catch to it, but he did not ask why she would lie, for some reason he felt as though he knew who might have done it, a mounting dread that had formed in the pit of his stomach.

"Then point out the banister... I'll break it in two. Shoot it up a little." He said instead, and tried to catch her eyes, but she instead said he was acting... lying, pretending he cared. Cherokee looked rather thrown, his mouth partly open. He didn't know just what to say to that and continued to not know just what to say as she she shoved passed him.

He watched her as she fumbled about with her keys, his face rather unreadable. He didn't flinch as she punched her car, or look on with pity or confusion with her sudden words. Instead he took a step forward, then another while kneeling down upon the black top next to her, and wordlessly he pulled her into an embrace.

"I'll go. Just say it. I'll leave." He said in a low voice, gazing off into the distance. "But I can't promise I won't think about you, and I can't promise I won't sometimes call and hang up... and I can't promise that I'll feel like I missed something worth having." He paused, his mouth searching for words, "I don't have any proof that I'm telling the truth... and you have no reason to trust me, but if you tell me to go, I'll leave." He finished.

((... hahaha, awwww... that made me... awwwwwwwwwwwww'ssss... CHEROKEE WHY ARE YOUN SUCH A BIG OL' SOFTIE?! *rubs his head*))
PostPosted: Tue Feb 27, 2007 8:22 pm

((That made me awwwwww and giggle...and chortle...and all that stuff plus girliness. XDD Haha yes ma'am.))

Amma laughed slightly at his banister remark, but made no difference in the confusion and frustration that built up inside of her. "It'd cost me money..." she muttered, trying her best to smile but instead just cried more. Today she was glad she didn't bother with makeup...otherwise it'd be running down her face.

When he knelt down beside her she turned her eyes towards him, watching him, a blurry dark figure. As his arms wrapped around her trembling body she almost collapsed against him, her body leaning foward, against the support. It felt incredible to her. Even though she was angry, sad, and confused, as she leaned against him she was safe, if only for that while, she wasn't Amma, leader of Sting, threatening menace of cops, drug dealer, whore houser, freak, b***h, anything, she was just someone. She was simply a person with a name Amma, a person who just like any other being alive, wanted to be loved.

"No." She choked out finally. "I don't want anything more than this." Tears streamed down her face now she burried herself into Cherokee's arms. Safe. No one could see her, no one could touch her, and no one could hear her but him and herself. "I've never wanted anything more."

((*wipes girly tears from eyes* Alright...I got bed bed boggy dreamy. REM! ;D I learned that from "Are you smarter than a fifth grader?" Rapid Eye Movement! I want some of that action right now. Oh yeah. *gets smacked*))

((Haha holy crackers... I missed a lot. O.o Haha well... *attempts to catch up, WOO!*))

There were many times in Enzo's life where looking back, he'd done some stupid things. At the moment, he was quite sure this was one of them. He'd mentioned Amma. How Cherokee hadn't noticed her before, he wasn't sure, but the fact was, the tall man was over next to the woman, all thought about anything else gone from mind.

Giving a bit of a sigh, Enzo leaned back, half-watching Emily dig through her meal. He suddenly wanted a nap. It was the insistant prodding by a little finger on his shoulder that made him come to, and a bright pink pony with rainbow hair was held in front of his nose. He blinked a few times to focus on the eyesore of a toy and gave a confused little sound at just how she'd bestowed said gift upon him. "Why THANK you, Emily." He plucked it from her little fingers and dropped it into his shirt pocket, where its bright head barely poked out of the top. "Care to share a fry too?" He looked hopeful. Bagels just didn't fill him up in the morning.

Enzo glanced over to where Cherokee had gone and frowned. Amma seemed to be having quite a rough time (even worse than Enzo had been the previous night, or in a while for that matter), and Cherokee and his big heart couldn't leave her like that. Even when it was obvious there was something wrong with her... And the fact that Cherokee was there.

Watching the two from the corner of his eye, he summed up that Amma felt betrayed by his friend. And really, it made him mad. Cherokee meant nothing but good towards most people, and despite the goings on of the previous night, Amma was trying, and trying hard to get away from him. It was confusing, and took a few minutes for Enzo to realize that it might have been Emily's presence that caused it.

He looked down to the bright little girl, giving a smile. She'd dug right into her meal, quite happily sitting in his lap and enjoying the crisp morning air. The little girl probably had no idea what was going on... And for that, he envied her. "Such a nice morning, isn't it?" He said, a note of sarcasm clutching to the edges of his words.

When Amma took a run for her car, both she and Cherokee disappeared from view; a determined number of shrubs stood between the bench and the parking lot. Enzo took this as a hint to stop watching them and instead he carefully lifted Emily from his lap and stood up, hoisting her so she was sitting on his shoulders. "Let's go for a bit of a walk, hmm?" He tugged on her feet, "Uncle Enz wants to stretch his legs. So, you lead the way, alright? Let's see where we go." All he wanted to do was take a walk, really. Get away from it all and clear his mind to think.

He hadn't realized just how attached Cherokee was to Amma. He'd known her for less than twenty-four hours, and already he cared deeply for her... Enzo knew his friend well enough to decipher that. "He's too soft-hearted sometimes..."

It could be seen as either a good thing, or an unfortunate instance that Emily brought Enzo around the foot path only once before she pointed him to the parking lot where Cherokee and Amma were sitting by her car, the woman crying into his arms, which were a blanket of comfort around her shaking form. Seeing that, Enzo felt a pang of guilt hit him in the guts. The fact that them being even in remotely the same area was a horrible danger... The fact his phone was missing... It all disappeared. Maybe he'd been jealous... Or moreso, worried about his friend. But he really truely cared for this woman he'd barely met... So much that it was almost painful to watch.

But the cool logic of Enzo's brain kicked in, and before he realized it, his mouth had started talking, "Cherokee, you guys can't just sit there, hugging and crying... Not in public. There are some important matters to attend to right now, yeah? I really think we need to get moving..." he looked around, suddenly expecting Darius to show up out of nowhere and start shooting. "What about you, Emily? Want to go on a quest with Uncle Enz and Chief?"

((Hahaha, and PUT YOURSELF YOU DID! YAAAAY!... This post'll be funny XDD;; ))

Cherokee had not known what really to expect, his bets were really on her shoving him away and screaming at him to go away, but quite the opposite happened. It might have been easier if she just told him to leave, it wouldn't have been better and he probably would feel like hell for who knows how long, but it would have been easier. That and Enzo would be sure to mention what a big idiot he was being now, embracing out in public view like they had nothing to worry about. He almost had to laugh then; Amma, the Sting gang leader, was crying in his arms. That seemed like an entirely impossible situation, and if he had told anyone else, they probably wouldn't have believed him, but he wouldn't have told anyone anyway.

Though, this moment was quite rattled at Enzo's voice. Cherokee was quick to come back to himself. He distangled himself and pulled both his person and Amma's to their feet, and took a large step backwards. He then awkwardly dusted her off a little, and then himself.

"Nice seeing you again too." He said.

Emily gave a little girlish giggle, watching Amma from atop Enzo's shoulders. Though at Enzo's question she lightly patted his head. "I would like that very much, Uncle Enz! But can we call it a mission? I wanna go on a mission... but for a mission we gotta have walkie talkies!" She then made a pretend walkie talkie out of her fist and showed it to her uncle. "Like this, okay?"

She then proceeded to wave her father over. "Come ooon, Cheif! Let's go! Uncle Enz is all ready to go!" She kicked her legs a little.

Cherokee smiled and made his way to Enzo's side, but he paused then and looked back at Amma. "I have a favor." He asked bluntly. "Cell phone... his." He pointed at Enzo. "You seen it?"

((I figured he'd at least AAASK!... AND THEN ONWARDS TO THE MISSION, HOMGS.))
