Shorty-Nymph I'v only ever heard the Bb and the Bass clarinet being played. I want to listen to all of them......and try playing the Eb one as well. biggrin All you really need to hear are the soprano, bass, and contra-bass clarinets, and you've heard them all.

I play both of my R-13s, one's a Bb the other an A. I've never performed on a contra-bass, but while I was repairing my old high school's, I had a chance to play on it. It as a Leblanc 340 I believe... The 'paperclip' model which has been out of production for quite some time. The one I fixed was from either the 60's or 70's. I actually prefer the metal to the wood/plastic ones I've heard, maybe because I also play sax.

I want to start learning Bass clarinet, but my parents don't want to pay for one and I'm pretty poor right now. Can't blame them though, since my clarinet cost $2 100........ sweatdrop
