Next after breathing excersizes and balance help was punches. Tsuzuki slowly extended her fist in front of her without releasing any fire at all. She watched how precisely it moved through the air and grinned; she wasn't making any sloppy mistakes while fighting. She continued to move her right arm throughout the air for another few minutes before allowing it to go faster with a small flame shooting out infront of her afterwards and disappearing into the air. She did the same with her left arm. Although this was her weaker arm, she detected no vital mistakes amoung her easy, normal punches.

When she was younger, she had always had trouble with the movements of her arms versus her feet. She had been somewhat clumsy and was known for it with her so-called 'friends' of her youth.

Tsuzuki then moved on to one of her favorite parts in basics training: combination moves. She still couldn't practice any of the combinations involving her legs but it was worth it to increase speed and indurance in her arms. At first, she started with something simple: two punches from each arm one after another. Then, she began alternating. After almost fifteen minutes of this, her arms were starting to get tired so she stopped; it was time to move on to a more complex combination.

Slowly, she punched the air with her right arm then left. Then, she moved her right arm so that it cut through the air horizontally infront of her face making a keen slice of fire that could either be used for blocking or attacking at a close range. She then sent her left hand shooting upwards so that a large streek of fire was created which she quickly sent towards the metal wall. Increasing her speed was the tricky part because, if she was just one hair out of place, she could injure herself instead of her invisible opponent.

Soon after practicing her newest combination, Tsuzuki began her leg work with high kicks. She was only a little flexable in her legs so she had to stretch first. She sat down on the floor and stretched her legs as far apart as they could go. They made about a 120 degree angle which was better than usual but not by much. She slowly bent over until she was as far over as she could possibly be without raising her lower half from the floor at all or bending her knees.

She sat like that for around three minutes before sitting back up and pointing her toes so that the bottoms of her feet were facing inwards. Tsuzuki then stretched her right arm over her head and grabbed her left foot. This was stretching almost every part of her body as she held the possition until the count of ten creeped slowly up. She then sat up as straight as she could without moving her legs and stretched out her arms. Once again, she held the possition until the count of ten. Next, she stretched her left arm over her head and grabbed her right foot without moving her legs and, for the last time, held the possition until the count of ten. As she sat up, she bounced her legs back infront of her in order to prevent cramping and stood back up.

As Tsuzuki stood up, she remembered another stretch she could do to further strengthen her legs. She stood in the middle of the room before taking one step forwards on her right foot then one step forwards on her left foot before she pulled her right foot up into a dance position crossed infront of her with her toe pointed. She then stepped to the right with her right foot, stepped to the right with her left foot, and swung her right foot up to the side of her leg in the same position. As she stepped down, she crossed her right foot infront of her left foot and swung her left foot up in the same position her right foot had just been in.

Next was the hard part; she stepped back with her right foot after her left foot had been put back onto the floor before swinging her left foot gracefully through the air to make light contact with her skull. "That's it," she smiled as she felt the hard stretch.

After repeating the step with her right foot, she was finished.

Tsuzuki then began working on combinations involving her legs. She kicked upwards with her right leg, making a small, firey arch before kicking down again and blowing a much larger arch infront of her towards the wall where it burst into small chards. She repeated this with her left leg but had to re-do it a few times because the fire at the end wasn't a large as the one created with her right leg.

After practicing on her leg work, Tsuzuki stopped for a moment and concentrated on something she had been trying to learn successfully for awhile: breathing fire. She quickly cleared her throat and concentrated on the movement of her throat muscles. She took in as big of a breath as possible from her nose and breathed much like she firebended through her arms out of her mouth, causing her breath to feel very hot but it still didn't turn into fire. She was somewhat disappointed but reminded herself that only a few people had mastered the art of breathing fire.

Tsuzuki was growing slightly bored and decided to look around. She traveled all the way down to the steam room where she saw a few of the sailors playing cards. They probably didn't know that she wasn't a stow-a-way but, if need-be she'd tell them to talk to Raj about it. She asked happily, "How're ya'll doin'?"

One man grumbled, "I'd be doing fine if I wasn't loosing so badly."

"Offense of talking," one person said, handing him a card without looking away from their own, "Point of order."

Everyone looked up at her curiously as she asked, "What're you playing?"

"Mau," the one from before answered, "Wanna play?"

"Sure!" She exclaimed, "I used to play this game all the time as a kid!"

Soon, the cards were delt and the Point of Order was called meaning that no one could talk at the risk of getting another card added to their already full hands. The Mau Master put down a red nine on the red eight which allowed the next person to place down a blue nine. When it came to Tsuzuki, she had to place the seven in her hand but remembered that there was a special rule for sevens. After a little bit of thinking, she placed down the seven after saying, "Lucky number seven."

After another half hour of playing, she collected a pot of over twenty gold pieces. Quite a nice prophet for her first time playing in several years.

Raj blinked at her reply, seeming not to know too much of the situation. He hadn't taken the time to learn much of anything during his life especially things about people of any sort of higher mention. He didn't care who anybody was, but it helped to know the slaver faction was obsessed with a two hundred year old madman.

"Fire Lord Ozai...Ozai of the Aang Cycle." He mumbled to himself, not noticing Tsuzuki leave him as he mulled over what his childhood was spent as a slave for. How did they plan to bring him back? Not even the Avatar knew any ways to bring the dead back into living vessels...

Awhile later, Tsuzuki was winning at dice. They were playing the Captain and Crew ((basically the exact same game they play in PotC: DMC)) which was one of the harder games she knew how to play. She looked under her cup and made a bet of five fives. The next person bet eight fives. When they lifted their cups, they had all lost. Like she had said, it was hard. When the dice were cast once more, she found a five, three twos, and a six under her cup. She thought for a moment and looked at the other five players's cups and bet, "Twelve twos."

She was right.

Raj let out a tired groan as he spat into the ocean and wiped his mouth. If there were ways to create earth bridges across the entire world, he was going to find a way to do it. He stumbled below deck and nearly fell, catching himself on the wall since there wasn't any banister to use for support instead. "Stupid ocean...How long will I have to wait before we land now...?" He grumbled, starting to feel that a fire nation hostage was definitely not a good idea if he had to go through this more than once.

As Tsuzuki collected her final winnings and stuffed them into the bag where she kept her only possetions. "Well, boys, I gotta go," she said.

She then went up the stairs and to the first floor below deck where Raj was hobbling dangerously down. "Probably puking his brains out," she mumbled to himself with a smile.

Raj almost tripped again, still supporting himself heavily on the wooden wall. He could barely stand properly due to being so weak from vomiting the whole day and not being able to keep anything down long enough for it to be processed through. He glanced down at Tsuzuki and only recognized her, just barely, as the girl he'd been talking to earlier, still never having had a real good look at the "hostage" Rei got.

Tsuzuki stared at Raj blankly for a moment before walking towards him and saying, "Um. . . earthbending kindnapping guy? Do you need any help? Or are you just gonna puke all over me?"

Raj frowned as he stared back at her. "I'm...fine. I just need to get to bed is all..." He replied in a low grumble, not capable of much louder at the moment. He ran his hands along the wall while walking toward the bottom of the stairs and try making his way to a room. The ship lurched once and nearly threw the earthbender off his feet if he hadn't put his hand out to the other side and caught himself.

Tsuzuki walked forwards and sighed as she pulled his arm over her shoulder and helped him down the wall to his room. She took off his shoes for him and placed them under the bed as she said, "You might want to go to bed now. And don't eat anything. I could ask the crew tomorrow morning if there are any herbs aboard that can help with seasickness. I know that there were when I was last on a ship."
