((Thanks. XD Before I go, what did I get?

EDIT: Oh, I see. Thanks again Arc.))

Xallen picked up the marble. His speaker played the song of victory, namely the song from the Legend of Zelda series fittingly titled "Treasure Chest." As this song played, the marble mysteriously disappeared into a pocket, as per the requirements of the song. With this done, he returned to his team, through the barbed wire and all that, and was finally able to get some more rest.

((Our team is now super-stealth, super-defense. Thank you and good night.))

((GM Note: As the Marble is claimed the defenses disappear. Sure, everything's still all blown up and ruined. But no more weapons. No more building, no more razor wire. It all returned from wence it came.))

"Vampire bar, vampire bar, vampire bar, angel/dragon bar... vampire bar, gay bar, vampire bar..."

Kalis scrunched up his brow, slowly pulling through the streets. He just needed to find one good, somewhat respectable looking inn somewhere. Shame he couldn't have been on Gambino. He would have gone straight for the Firebrand. Not that it counted as a normal bar, but he at least didn't have to worry about the same sort of freak stuffs he saw everywhere else.

Usually.

Somtimes, things were just annoying like that.

"Ah, there we go."

A little place called 'The Home Oven' sat by the side of the road. It looked, heck, even sounded normal, some little privately owned place. Advertised homestyle cooking too. Yum. Now just as long as it wasn't owned by some witch waiting to pop the younger clients into said home oven, he should be good.

He pulled his bike off to the side, wheeling it over to a lamp post, and chaining the bike in place. Not that there weren't people around who could break the chain and steal it, or even just rip the post out of the ground and do so... but luckily, a fair number of those people had wings or magic stuffs and wouldn't need a motorvehicle. Gaia was a funky place.

Parked, he hauled the little samurai man off the bike, and dragged him inside.

No, not just limply along the ground behind him. He supported the guy on a shoulder and went in.

"One room. And some bandages for sleepy."

Kalis said, indicating with a nod of his head the unconcious guy with the gash on his torso.

The poor old man behind the counter looked sick already by the smell of them, without the blood. "Third room on the second floor," the fellow replied, shuffling off to a side quickly to grab keys, and handed them to Kalis, clearly trying to hold his breath and avoid touching the gloved hand he was dropping it into.

"Thanks."

Nothing tried to eat him, steal from him, hit on him, or otherwise waylay him, and he considered it pretty good luck by the time he got to the place and plopped down on the bed. Lucky got that. Could he call him Lucky. Sure he could. He knew Lucky wouldn't mind. Not while he was onconcious anyway. Maybe he'd get a new name when he woke up. Then he'd have two names. Now that was reason to deserve the name Lucky. Maybe there was a black marker around. Kalis could draw a big smile on the man's face. It felt necessary, given that a man named "Lucky" shouldn't be sitting there all sober and dead looking.

"...pffffff-!"

-hell am I thinking! Your nuts kid- you need some sleep.

Chuckling at himself, he took to the shower, favoring cold water over hot until most of the sewage was off, at which point he promptly started trying to roast the very smell off him. He'd need a change of clothes- luckily, he had that too, inside a bag that had kept them quite clean. Even if his rucksack now smelled like s**t.

Literally, smelled like s**t.

Eventually, he'd settle for a black t-shirt and his jeans, and collapse sitting up against the wall to sleep, swords and stuff piled next to him. The shower door was left open, fan not even turned on, to let all that beautiful, clean steam come in and wash the wreak of Lucky away from Kalis' now much less offensive person, until he nodded off.

Nappy time.

Jacknife still haden't made it to Durem, which was his original destination. He figured two diamond horses were a good enough destraction for anybody, but it was now time to move on. He headed off towards the West Gate of Barton.

A few hours rest would help anyone. It took a bite out of your day, but sanity did signifactly improve timeliness. Now that he was able to stop laughing to internal monologues and ponderings about Lucky, it was time to go.

Kalis packed up his things, glad to be free of the smell, and left the room, locking it and tossing the key on a cabinent as he went. He gave that poor old lady- well, the old man was gone, and he could only assume it was his wife now- the pay for an extra night's stay on the room, to keep the guy.

Then, he sat down to breakfast. Eggs. Ham. Toast. Orange juice. And- hey, wait. He had stuff to do. Yes, that was enough. No, he didn't need seconds. No, he wouldn't- yes, actually, he would like a cinnamon bun. Two? No? Okay. Just one.

And he was out the door and on his bike again.

It still smelled. Not as bad as everything else had, but... ew. That thing needed a wash.

Stirring a bit, Brody started to come back to conciousness. And imediately wished he hadn't. He was sore, the sore you only feel after getting hit by a horse. Bruises covering his body, although you could only see those on his left side, potentialy a cracked rib, he had literaly been hit by a horse. An angry, stone horse. Rolling out of the bed, he grabbed onto the bedside table for a moment as the blood rushed from his head, and made his way towards the shower. It probably wouldn't be comfortable, but it was definately something that needed to be done. He hadn't yet been able to clean his wounds, and it seemed somewhat important. Stripping off his coat, which seemed to have survived rather well, considering, then his wife-beater, which hadn't fared so well, he checked his sides over in the mirror. Not seeing anything that would require bandaging, he would pull his boots off, and drop his pants, which as usual, never seem to sustain any damage. Thusly prepared, he would jump in the shower and wash, cleaning out any areas where skin had been broken.

Done with this, Brody would put his old clothes back on, and lay back on the bed for a moment. Marbles. He needed to find more marbles, because where the marbles were, the crazy people were. Looking down at his hand, with the dark green marble in it, he smiled. Crazy people. Now if only he could find someone to help. There were supposed to be a pair of guys around to help, teams of three being what that one guy had said, but he hadn't seen anything of the other two so far.

Whatever, if he managed to find them, he managed to find them. If not, well, he was probably screwed then. Stepping out into the hallway, Brody would leave the building quietly, grabbing a couple of apples off the breakfast bar on the way out.

The rain had begun to fall, giving the old city an extra dreary feeling. Though Sieg did not look at it like that. The rain did not fall harshly under the booms of Thunder, but carressed the earth gently. The rain was pure as it produced serene music; washing away the many sins of this land. God baptised his earth. Sieg was listening to a Jill Scott Calabo album, a song featuring will smith that seemed to match perfectly with the occasion.

(Entering from West Barton Gate)

Gareth looks up at the taut canvas roof above him when the rain starts to fall, relieved that he's not out in it...yet.

Gareth: "So, Sieg, where're we headed?"

He has to speak a bit louder than usual, because of some music Sieg had decided to put in.

"Well I want to go check out the channel 5 news place. I know a few guys there who did some advertising for my gym. You got some of the best investigative journalism over there and I want to see if they gained any information about the connection between the emergence of the marbles and the robot killings.

After that, I want to head over to the Gaia Police Department and check if they have gained any new information about the killings. We might go get something to eat in between.

So anyway

Didnt you suggest a team name?"
, Sieg said as he would drive.

Tohiko stalked through Old Barton, holding a mace in one hand and nothing in the other. The tall Asian girl was dressed like a shrine maiden, but she looked more like a butcher. Covered in blood, she searched for another victim.

Revenge...she would take revenge.
