There's at least two authors that I saw that did the Vampire Pirate books. Huh. Okay there's: Justin Somper and Martin Oliver. They both write "Vampirate" books. 3nodding

Lol, no. He writes...weird stuff. Fantasy, but weird... It's not so typical. Go look at your library!

Well truth be known I honestly don't like anime. However I will share with you a few of my all time favorite books. My two faves of all time are Into the Wild By John Krakauer and Killing Yourself to Live:85% of a True story By Chuck Klosterman. The first is about Christopher McAndless and his deseperate escape from reality and to experience life as it happens and the story follows his journey up to his death in Alaska. Great read, it really opened my eyes to how short life is and that if you let small unimportant things creep in and ruin it you will never experience what life's all about. The second is about Chuck's journey across America to places where famous musicians have died (Kurt Cobain, Elvis, The plane wreck site of Lynyrd Skynyrd, etc.) to find out why Killing yourself in the music business is the best thing you can do. Yes I wrote a huge paragraph but I highly recommend these books. I have more to recommend but they can wait

Hmm, they're not my usual read, but they sure do sound interesting. The name of the first one rings a bell actually.
I just read another Christopher Pike book - and I hate to say it, but I actually forgot how much I love his writing. The blurb was crap on the book, but I took a deep breath and read it anyway, and it almost had me in tears sweatdrop It's called The Eternal Enemy.
Its about a girl, and she comes to realise that her ordinary life isnt so ordinary. As she slowly gets the things she wants, she realises she's here for a bigger purpose, that includes her end. I'm not gonna reveal too much, as I've already said too much D=

It beats my school reading. blaugh
It's a lot more action-packed than one might expect. Especially near the end, when he's held at gunpoint. I haven't seen the movie, but that sounded cool when I read that his good friend did that.

I've watched the movie, and though some theories I found interesting, overall, I thought it wasnt directed as well as it could have been.
