I also hate Larry because I heard this from another website that if Larry didn't give Mia The Thinker clock there might be a chance that she would still be alive.

Even more than that freaky un-funny clown, I hate Ben and Trilo. Trilo was just scary, and obviously Ben's nasty inner thoughts. And from game 4 I hate SPOILER [highlight it] Kristoph Gavin.

((Manfred von Karma Furio Tigre Jean Armstrong (I hated 3-3 in general) April May Redd White Wendy Oldbag (I just hate how she blabs on to no end) Godot (Well, I don't hate him quite so much, I just thought he got really whiny and annoying when he decided everything was Phoenix's fault) Frank Sawhit (He's quite the airhead) Morgan Fey Dahlia Hawthorne Dee Vasquez Sal Manella Winston Payne I also dislike Luke Atmey, to an extent. Just how he wouldn't shut up with his big words and overly inflated balloon of self-image and confidence. And I seriously must be the only girl who plays this game and was able to find any speck of hatred towards Egdeworth. I just hate how when out of court, he goes on and on about DL-6, won't discuss evidence with you because of this that and the other. Mind you, I've only played games one and three. I think I just generally dislike people in general.)) Redd White. He kept on trying to pin Mia's death on me!

Phoenix the Hobo And I seriously must be the only girl who plays this game and was able to find any speck of hatred towards Egdeworth. I just hate how when out of court, he goes on and on about DL-6, won't discuss evidence with you because of this that and the other. Mind you, I've only played games one and three. I think I just generally dislike people in general. I liked Edgeworth enough in AA and T&T (spoilers) but he pissed me off in JfA. Okay, in AA he's all "Nobody can tell if anyone's really innocent so I'll find everyone guilty durp durp!", then he takes off for a year after being accused for murder and comes back trying to tell ME how to be a good lawyer? Uh, no, go back to Europe, emo boy.I guess the only character I could consider being close enough to hated to count is Godot. I might have liked him a little more if (more spoilers) everyone hadn't been CONSTANTLY fawning over how "cool" he is and how easily they forgave him at the end of 3-5 after he murdered Maya and Mia's mother and tried to pin it on poor Iris for no other reason I could ascertain than that she's Dahlia's sister.

As much of a douche as he was, I can't bring myself to hate Manfred Von Karma. I think it's the fact that he's SO much fun to make fun of. blaugh
As for people I actually did hate, Redd White and Moe the Clown are probably at the top of my list. There are a bunch of others I didn't like either, but I'd have a very large list on my hands here.

The only characters I don't like in the series are Ben and Robert Hammond. Ben because a thirty-one-year-old guy lusting after a sixteen-year-old girl via puppet is ew, and Robert Hammond because the man was an asshat. Sakasagami no Yura I liked Edgeworth enough in AA and T&T (spoilers) but he pissed me off in JfA. Okay, in AA he's all "Nobody can tell if anyone's really innocent so I'll find everyone guilty durp durp!", then he takes off for a year after being accused for murder and comes back trying to tell ME how to be a good lawyer? Uh, no, go back to Europe, emo boy.Actually... Court Records Edgeworth realized today that he can't change his own mistakes. He can't even trust himself anymore, either. He assumes Gant was right in being the same as him: despising criminals, and being able to take them on alone. He wants to take on criminals, badly, but in order to fight criminals, one needs a weapon. He's afraid that he might have ended up like Gant. That's why he left. As for JFA, by then he's realized what it means to be a lawyer: Despite personal struggles and grief, it's the truth that matters. At least from my view, he saw that Phoenix was losing sight of this, especially when he had a personal stake (in this case, Maya). He's trying to help Phoenix learn what he did so that justice can be served.Sakasagami no Yura I guess the only character I could consider being close enough to hated to count is Godot. I might have liked him a little more if (more spoilers) everyone hadn't been CONSTANTLY fawning over how "cool" he is and how easily they forgave him at the end of 3-5 after he murdered Maya and Mia's mother and tried to pin it on poor Iris for no other reason I could ascertain than that she's Dahlia's sister.I can't really remember everyone being all "ZOMG GODOT IS SO COOL!!!", unless you mean in the fandom, in which case I, as a fairly large Godot fan, agree wholeheartedly. As for your second point, it was their plan. Court Records Godot used his connections in the prosecutor's office to hunt down Misty Fey, whom he told about the murder plot. He also went to Iris with the same information, and got her cell phone number. Misty Fey appeared at Hazakura Temple as her alter ego, Elise Deauxnim, so that she could help prevent the murder. She had prepared a katana hidden in her staff for the occasion. The night that Pearl was meant to summon Dahlia, Godot snuck to the Inner Temple to wait. If Misty was unsuccessful in preventing Pearl's summoning, he would be there to protect Maya.
[...]
Maya went to the temple with Bikini to prepare for her training. At the same time, Pearl snuck across the bridge as well, hoping to check up on Maya (she was worried about her being alone in the cold). Just as 10 was approaching, Misty still couldn't find Pearl, and feared the plan was about to go through. Not wanting Pearl to be involved, she summoned Dahlia herself so that Pearl wouldn't be able to.
[...]
Godot interfered. Taking up Misty's staff, he uncovered the hidden katana. When faced with the image of Dahlia, the woman who had murdered him, he lost his senses and stabbed her in the back in a fit of rage. Obviously, it was a plan that could have simply been avoided if Godot had just, y'know, stolen Morgan's letter. But since neither Misty nor Iris had a counter-proposal and they went merrily along, Godot's not entirely to blame. And as for Iris, I think she mentions near the end of 3-5 that should everything go horribly, horribly wrong (as it did), she would take the fall.

Rebuttal:
It was mostly Godot's plan, though. He's the one who searched out Misty and Iris to help him with it, and he clearly wasn't planning on taking any responsibility for it (pretty hypocritical seeing as one of his "rules" was "If you're a man, clean up your own mess.")
Misty went along with it because she still felt shamed by DL-6 and because she was willing to give her life for her family.
Why Iris agreed to it is a little more debatable. She's a bit naive and trusting, so the fact that the Great Prosecutor Godot and the Master of Kurain told her it was a good idea probably played a bit into it, but I'd like to think there was more to it than that, and the only thing that makes sense to me is Godot found out she was involved with the incident with Phoenix five years ago and used that somehow. Obviously Iris didn't want to just take the guilty sentence and be put to death, or she would have refused Phoenix's (and Edgeworth's) defense.
