The boy stopped his whining, and looked to Guin as she held out the mittens to him. He tried to offer her a smile, but it came out in a jerky fashion, and the boy quickly snatched up the mittens in an attempt to hide his face once more. This time tugging on the lamb's ears of the hood to hide his head. He wasn't able to return the over-sized mittens to his wings either.

Kemuri put Nikolai down on the floor so Guin didn't have to look up at Nikolai. Kemuri smiled silently at the two young ones. They seemed to be having quite the time of their lives so far. Kemuri wanted to hear Nikolai talk though. it was hard to try figuring out everything through charades or signs. He also wanted to hear his little voice.
Kemuri kneeled beside Nikolai. "do you want me to put your wing mitts back on for you?" He asked the little boy, reaching out a hand.

When he was set down, Nikolai looked bewildered up at the older Herald. Nodding his head, the boy turned around and held up the Mittens over his head. He looked a little odd in his stance, though it was still quite cute.

Kemuri took the mitts from the little boy's hands and fit them snuggly on Nikoali's wings. He smiled as the little boy had such small wings. He would have never guessed that little kid's would have sch soft wings either.

Guinevere smiled at the younger Herald's antics. "So Kemuri, how long have you two been walking?" she asked curiously. "I hope it's not been too long."

"Just a teensy bit. We were gonna try to fly off but it seems to be only a dream" Kemuri said with a small chuckle. After all, he could only levitate a little bit and that wasn't mch, it's be faster walking than levitating about a bit off the ground. "Oh yea, is the bike alright? it seemed like a pretty bad crash back there" He mentioned. He had forgotten about it.

The whisps of light that clung to Nikolai's now blank wings disappeared under the dark green fabric of the mittens when Kemuri slipped them on. He turned, looking to Guin a moment before clinging timidly to Kemuri's leg.

Guinevere smiled. "I love your mittens." she said. Startling, she remembered something after Kemuri pointed it out. "Oh no, the bike!" Running over to it, she looked it up and down. "It's okay. Just pretty scratched." she said relievedly. "We should be able to use it again."

At 'love' the boy blushed bright red and pulled his hood over his eyes. The child was far too embaressed to do much more than hide behind Kemuri. Far too shy to do anything at all when the girl had paid him such a compliment.

Guinevere tilted her head. Nikolai was adorable but he always acted kind of oddly. She couldn't really understand, but she had been an extremely shy messenger reborn at first, so maybe he'd get a little less shy around her when she knew him better.
Kotatsu returned from checking out the bus route. At Guinevere's expectant gaze she said "I got a leaflet with the route on it, but..." She looked embarrassed. "I can't read the map!" Kotatsu could get lost in a grocery store.
Guinevere snatched the map, but found she couldn't read it either. The only maps she had ever seen were magical ones, not maps of towns. She turned it different ways but it still made no sense to her. "Kemuri, can you read maps?" Guinevere asked.

"I think so..." He said as he took the leaflet arefully from the young deep haired girl, not giving her a paper cut. He looked at it. "I think we have to go that way." He said pointing to where the map seemed to lead. He wasn't completely sure of where or which way they needed to go...

Watching them trying to read the map, Nikolai stared at it curiously. Trying to get a better view of it, he leaned forwards to see it and came t stand in front of Kemuri to look at the back as the man deciphered it's meaning on the front. When it looked like the man was going to begin moving, however, nikolai moved backwards- still staring at the back of the paper- and bumped into Guin.

Kemuri kneeled down to show the young boy. "You wanted to see this, right?" he asked Nikolai. He smiled as he handed the map to the little boy.

Shyly, Nikolai shook his head. Kemuri needed the map after all, and little Nikki didn't want to take it from him. "Unn-unn." He murmured, the only real sounds he ever actually made were the grunts for 'yes' and 'no', or making it clear he was displeased with whining. He'd yet to say his first words, but at least he understood what others said.

Guinevere was bumped into and said "Oh, are you okay?" She was, however, distracted. "Kemuri, you can read it, right? Where do we go?" It was beginning to get late and she was worried about Pucci. Though the cat could handle himself, what if a burglar broke into the house?
