I had a bad dream Rubedo. Daddy was hurting me. She covers her eyes, afraid of letting her brother see her tears. The dream had truely unsettled her. How is Nigredo? I... I miss him so much... She holds her stomach as it growls loudly. She winces as well. She pants a bit, holding herself up with a hand on the bed. H-Hungry...

Jr. didn't know what to tell her. ((Yet again, that means I don't know what to say.)) "Let's go upstairs and get you some food. Gaignun will be here soon." Jr. realized he forgot to tell Alka something important. "Oh I forgot to tell you. Nigredo's name now is Gaignun and my name is Gaignun Jr. We changed our names."

Oh... do I get a different name? She seems confuzed. She gets up slowly, holding her stomach. She takes Rubedo's hand, squeezing it, as if assuring herself that Rubedo is standing next to her. She nods to him slightly, and blijnks a couple of times. The tunic Albedo gave her for modesty reasons is rumpled. The way it hangs on her body makes her seem fragile, more than she really is. Can.... can I have something to eat big brother?

"We're on our way as we speak." Jr told her calmly. He walked with her, holding her hand the whole time, to the diner. When they got inside, he asked one of the droids to get some food for her. He looked over at her and once again noticed she was wearing Albedo's clothes. "We'll get you some more comfortable clothes on the Durandel."

Alka plucks at the tunic idly. She doesn't want to meet Rubedo's eyes for some reason. Rubedo.... How much time has passes? You haven't aged, but Albedo did.... And something is wrong with him. I could feel it. I was so scared.... He didn't care about me anymore... As soon as the food arrives she sets upon it hungerly, wolfing it down, politely though. So hungry...

Alka nearly chokes on her food, but swallows loudly. So long... how... She rests her head on the table, breathing deeply. I've been gone so long... and you remembered me?

I didn't want you to leave; I was so afraid that I would be all alone... I still am afraid.... She looks at Rubedo; her eyes hold strange emotions half hidden. I still am afraid... What'll happen to me if I lose everyone?! She squuezes her eyes shut tightly, trying to calm down. Her emotional reactions are eeriely similar to how Albedo reacted when he found out he was immortal. I'm... still hungry. May I... have more?

"Your not going to lose me or Gaignun anytime soon. I can guarentee it." Jr. said in a serious tone, "Trust me." He remembered her question about the food. "You can have as much food as you want here." Jr. said. He let her dig in and looked over at the droid. "Now that I think about it, I could go for some food, too. Can you get me some curry?" Jr. asked the droid. The droid started making some and Jr. looked over at Alka. "You should try some of the curry. It's my friend Shion's recipe."

T-thank you. You mean it when I can have as much I want? I'm so glad! She nibbles the curry, curious. She obviously likes it, as she wolfs it down. I feel like I ahve'nt eaten for weeks... She smiles at Jr. between shovels of food. She seems much more content, a combination of friendly company and food.

Jr. was glad to see Alka that happy again. He hadn't seen her smile like that since before she had lost her voice. "Maybe she will recover after all." Jr. thought as he smiled warmly. He wondered where Gaignun could be as he ate more of his curry.

Gaignun walks in, and spots the two eating. He stands there for a moment, simply observing the two eating. He smiled softly as Alka smiled at Jr. "I've forgotten how much I adored her." He things to himself, smiling even more. "Jr., there you are. Sorry I didn't get here sooner." He grins in amusement. "I was re-calculating the captain's debt." He sits down next to Alka. "Alka... I haven't seen you in years." I've missed you a great deal, little sister. Alka's mouth opens in suprise, and she grabs Gaignun in a big hug around the waist. Gaignun laughs and pats the top of her head affectionately. "As loving as ever..." he muses softly.

Jr. stopped eating when he saw Gaignun come in. He was happy to see these two reunited at last. He remembered that Gaignun and Alka had been close friends when they were younger. "Should I leave you two alone? I'm sure you have a lot of catching up to do." Jr. said.

I-I'm so happy! You both remember me... She presses herself closer to Gaignun. She stills for a moment. I'd... like for you to stay. The link between her and Jr. conveys a sudden worry. Gaignun looks at her a moment, then nods. He gently holds her close. "You're okay now, so don't worry. We won't leave you." Gaignun looks to Jr., a flash of his own worry apparent on his face. She never was this clingy before, even after loosing her voice... He says privately to his brother. Again there is that faint disturbance in the mental link.
