The people in the room began to leave immediately upon the Kings departure. There hastened pace indicating that they were glad that the King was finished. He watched a few moments before departing himself, when he spotted the Vampire that had sworn foolish fealty to the King, or perhaps not so foolish if her intent was the same as his. A wry smile creased his lips as he began to follow her.
“Countess, a moment of your time,” he said in soothing tones.

The Countess moved silently down the hallway, merely watching the others to see what actions they took, and to also keep an eye out for the mysterious Steward. A chamber within the Castle walls was quite appealing as it meant that should she would be protected. There was that fact but there was also the mere fact that it had been quite awhile since she had lived in accommodations as luxurious as De’Seas had to offer. It suited her quite nicely as she was a Countess.
Her decadent thoughts came to an abrupt end as she took notice of the voice calling her name. She had stopped, and slowly turned to see the black robed figure approaching her. She was uncertain who he was, but her vampiric senses had already detected the enormous power he possessed.
She had been late in her arrival at the Castle, and only briefly took note of him in the Kings audience chamber. She could only assume that he like all the others was a vassal of the King now.
“Yes, my Lord….” She sounded out to hint on his identifying himself.

“I am Lord Charon, Countess. A pleasure, I am sure.”
He walked up, and took the Countess by the hand, and kissed the back of it. Her skin was cold to the touch, but still soft. He slowly rose, and gazed upon her sultry beauty, and proceeded to lower his cloak to reveal his own handsome features.
“I was wondering if I might share a few words with you, I find it fascinating that you are a Vampire,” he said.
He paused, then finished with, “In private.”

His features were not what she had expected. In truth she had expected some hideous apparition beneath the cloak. Not a dark haired and handsome human with piercing eyes. She noted his release of her hand, and bowed her head to him.
“You take the fact of my being a vampire in stride. I find that to be a bit refreshing, but more so, I smell no fear upon you,” said DeWynter.
There was more than his wishing to speak about what she was, and she knew that. No, there was something else, and that would be the truth. Not what she was hearing at the moment.

Charon smiled a little bit, but continued. “Very little if anything surprises one such as I, but we can discuss this further in private. What I have to say is for your ears, and not others.”
Charon looked at her, and paused, as he figured enough had been said.

She was not a fool, and there was no way she would just simply trust him without some prior knowledge of him. It was one thing to swear fealty with the King, but this situation was totally different. She began to shake her head no.
“I must apologize, but granting you such an audience might prove to be hazardous to one of us. I am sure you can understand that. For all I know you could be a Necromancer hoping to turn me into some vital spell component, or to be used in some other perverse way.”
She began to turn and resume her walk down the hallway.

Haseo stood outside and looked around. "Now where to go from here?" he muttered as he looked up at the structures. The castle was great and looked easy to get lost in.

Spotting DeWynter with another figure worried Myth, but he decided to Approach her anyway. "M'lady DeWynter. A word with you if you please." The young Knight was soft spoken, and he was obviously mortal, yet something was different abuot him. An unfamilar Aura. He was also no fool though Timid. He could tell immediatly the Cloaked man may be troublesome to his own plans, especially if he wanted DeWynter in some way.

Laeus smiled grimly. He'd pawned the whole mass of people off on her. She had wondered about the King's rather squirrelly exit. She made a mental note to let him know it had not been very dignified.

Charon became agitated when the welp interrupted his conversation with the Countess. Dispite her turning, he was not finished. "Excuse me, young man, but you are being rude, and that is not wise or smart." Charon glared at the newcomer, and his eyes began to glow red.

Sir Elton walked up on Lord Charon and Myth in their little dispute. "I just couldn't help but overhear and I think that you, Myth, should leave because he was talking to her first." Elton walked to the side of Charon.

Myth Glared at Elton, "I believe you should mind your own business, Child," Myth said, his tone harsh, he returned his gaze to Lord Charon, and spoke in a more respectful tone, "I have been Looking for DeWynter for some time now. I owe her my life, and would do anything for her benefit. With your consent, m'lord, I would like to join this converstation..."

"Child. Did you just call me a child? Your the one who looks like a teenager. And above all, I think you should mind your own bussiness you hypocrite. You can't butt into a conversation and tell someone else to mind their own bussiness." Elton whispered in Charon's ear," Your supposed to have my back. I backed you up."

Appears Teenager, huh? Myth thought. Ignorance was bliss...
"Last time I checked, the lady DeWynter was just leaving. I mean no insult to the lording here, but I have sought out DeWynter for months. All I wish is council with her. If she owes this man some debt or an audience, I will gladly step down." Myth seemed to speak with slight annoyance toward the man. He bowed toward Lord Charon toward the last part of his statement, to show he had no quarrel with him.
