naruto_kh96 Remedi The fact is true. Early in the manga, while Kakashi was asking Team 7 a bit of info about them, Sasuke stated that his ambitions were to kill "a certain man" (Itachi), and restore his clan.
He seems to have given up the latter for his first goal, but if he lives through it, he'll no doubt want to restore his clan.
To restore his clan, he'll have to marry and/or just have kids with someone. They won't be an Uchiha for sure. But the kids will probably get his bloodline. (I doubt that the children will have to be PURE Uchiha to have the Sharingan.)
So to answer the question simply: He won't have to get MARRIED, but he WILL have to...well...>> do the "Baby Making Process" with someone *cough*Sakura*cough*. I agree with you.. But I have to point out again: It's not restoring the 'clan' if he's not married. If he's not married they won't be Uchiha babies.

Tenshi no Hana-chan The occurence of Down's Syndrome decreases as the degree of relation increases, though. As long as Sasuke's kids and grandkids don't try anything with each other, they'll be okay. I think second cousins are able to reproduce with a minimal chance of Down's Syndrome.
But onto the topic again...I think Sasuke just wants to be reassured someone will be carrying the Sharingan long after his death. I do hope he gets around doing it. No matter how many children he'll have, as long as it's male, the clan will develop, somehow. 1. It's not specifically the chance of down syndrome that increases. It is impossible to increase the chance of down's syndrome, seeing as it's a matter of gametes directly. An extra twenty-first chromosome won't just appear because the two gametes belong to people who are related. 2. Children of non-related couples have a 2-3% risk of birth defects, as opposed to first cousins having a 4-6% risk. Genetic counseling is available for those couples that may be at a special risk for birth defects (e.g. You have a defect that runs in your family) In plain terms first cousins have at a 94 percent + chance of having healthy children. Second cousins have little, if any increased chance of having children with birth defects, per the book "Clinical Genetics Handbook”– courtesy of the March of Dimes. 3. Again, the clan won't develop if he's not married to the mother of his child: also, if he has daughters (born while he is in wedlock with their mother) who give birth out of wedlock, that'd also add to the clan population. 4. Just to add one more thing: if his sons don't have sons, then no, the clan won't flourish.

There's no pleasing Nature she is the only one whos confessed to him.But eventually he comes back and will like totally have to like try to get sakura lolz that'd be funny if Sakura played Hard to Get lol. xd heart

Dragon-Ninjutsu OMFG I FORGOT!!!!! if kakashi has a sharigohn can't he pass it on to his kids???
i totally forgot about that trivial thing!!!!!! i know they wont be a uhchiha but still its a possilbility.... then on eof his daughters could marry uhchiha and she DOES have a sharigohn then its not incest AND then theres a good chancwe that the outcome WILL have the sharigohn!!!! No, If kakashi does have a kid, he/she won't get the Sharigan because its not his bloodline, Its Sasuke and Itachi's. Anywho, Sasuke may (keyword: may) live through this whole ordeal and come home to do the nasty with *cough*sakura*cough* and restore his clan. As some said before, she may not come home after killing Itachi or he may die.
