The wily little raccoon has dropped off, not wanting to be rattled up and down to his death with these soquili escapades. Fenrir laughed, liking how she always puffed out her cheeks when she seems disgruntled. He ran cross ways to her, muscles bunching on his legs. "Then outrun them! Surely you'll have no problem if you can keep up with me!" the soquili emitted another throaty laugh and rushed off.

"Yes. But you never know how fast they are in the first place." Her tail snapped back and forth as she watched him for a second then took off after him again. She gave a small laugh as she shook her head. Fenrir seemed so full of energy. He'd slow down and then out of no where this burst of energy would come. How interesting.

He raced infront of her, trying to always cut across so she doesn't pass him on the side. The wavy green mane and tail twirled wildly, streaming past him. Over the grass and snow, and through the trees, the sun casting leafy shadows on his back. The roar of his heart started pounding loudly in his ears, and he cast a glance back briefly.

A quick flap of her wings and Zhenga lifted quickly off the ground and into the trees. Though she was pink and possibly easy to spot, it wasn't too hard to hide amongst the shadows and snow that lingered in the tree tops. She tip toed from branch to branch. Landing gently so that she didn't disturb any snow and give off where she was. If he wasn't going to stand still she'd make him stand still.

The pink and spotted soquili has escaped his sight. Fenrir shook his head, wondering where she disappeared to. He couldn't have run so far as to lose her! Still looking backwards, he nearly crashed headlong into a tree and just managed to side it, scraping his shoulders and coming to a complete halt. Fenrir turned in a circle, whinnying for Zhenga.

She gave a soft giggle as she leaned her head down through the gaggle of leaves and grasped a small bit of his mane. Giving it a light tug. "Don't worry. I'm still here FenFen." The mare gave him a big grin before she hopped out of the tree. Having wings always could give you a bit of advantage. Where some Soquili couldn't get into trees, you could just flap your wings and you were there.

He whirled around in surprise, "hey! that's unfair....you have wings!" He moved aside to let her drop down, and started rubbing against her neck, huffing at the little braids in her mane. Was it always going to be like this? Her flying off while he was stuck on the ground. He wrinkled his nose disgruntledly.

Zhenga giggled again, prancing around him. "Yea, I know. But it is fun hiding from you sometimes. I don't use my wings all that much so you really don't have much to worry about me fluttering away all the time." A large grin curled the corners of her mouth as he rubbed against her neck.

He glared at her, then rolled his eyes, breaking into a wry smile. 'I'll believe it when I see it, you little bird mare," he said, flicking his head to indicate they should move on. The trees were getting thicker here, and he lost his itch to run. She surprises him so much all the time, and he shook his head, laughing to himself.

Shaking her head, she gave a flick of her tail and started off again. Letting him lead if he wanted to as she really had no idea where to go at the moment. "You'll see. Don't worry." Her grin appeared again as she ruffled her wings before folding them tightly against her back. "It's fun to fly. But there's better company on the ground than just birds." Zhenga nudged his shoulder lightly with her own while giving a small nicker.

Fenrir stuck his tongue out at her, "Is that suppose to mean something?" then he winced slightly. The scraping on his shoulder was raw, and when she nudged it it hurt. He turned his head around and blew at it, taking the sting away.

"Maybe." Tilting her head slightly at his wince, she eyed him for a moment. "Something wrong?" Zhenga gave him a questioning look. It seemed his shoulder hurt him a bit. Or she could be completely off about it. Though its what the case seemed to be.

He tried to shrug it off but it still hurt so he muttered, "Trying to look for you, that's what........hurt my shoulder abit..." The stallion humphed, tryig to look as if it didn't matter. He has been through worst scraps before......but before there wasn't a mare around.... how strange that stallions play the hurt one more when there are mares to mother them.

"Awwww." She grinned as he humphed. Like a pouty little foal who had fallen and scraped their knee. It was too cute. "Ok. I won't hide anymore if you get hurt from trying to look for me." The mare nuzzled his neck lightly this time, avoiding his shoulder. "Maybe you should take it a bit easier when running around."

He tried very hard not to grin, looking up into the trees and wriggling like a fish. 'I was running fine...then you disappeared! You shouldn't disappear.....it makes me worried..." Fenrir walked beside her, trying to catch little glances at Zhenga. Her spotted coat blended in with the filtering light between the leaves and the dark markings around her eyes gave her a very coy look.
