Character Personality:Xoey is very abrasive and sarcastic to everyone she meets, and doesn't keep friends very long. She is a fatalist, believing that no matter what anyone does the world atl arge will stay the same. Despite these views, she keeps herself strong and dedicated to slaying vampires and others of such ilk. This is because, despite her fatalism, she occasionaly views the world from a determinist's standpoint, especially in regards to anything assosciated with her late Watcher. She holds much inner turmoil, but blackens it out with hate and sarcasm. Xoey turns to death and drugs to keep her company, and has no real attachment to her own life.
Xoey's action change drastically depending on the gender of whomever she's talking to. When faced with a man, she is one of three things. Silent, ignoring anything they have to say, and trying to remove herself from the situation immediately; Cruel and sarcastic, attempting to hurt them as much as she can with words; or succeeding to hurt them as much as she can with her fist. Despite her general hatred for men, she'll still help one put in mortal danger by an otherworld nasty.
When talking to women, Xoey is more open, but a bit paranoid. True to form she'll be sarcastic and vicious, but never cruel. Xoey never puts her faith in anyone, including women, and any hints of friendship or a longer-term relationship will send her running in the other direction. She'll go out of her way to help a damsel in distress, but she hates what she calls "Whiny Women Without Wits," who do nothing but cry for help.
Xoey does not tolerate demons, half-demons, vampires, ghosts, or any other sort of spook. Regardless of how good, innocent, or with-soul they might be, unless faced with a very good reason not to, they'll be dead before they say Hello. One of the few times when she believes her actions are necesary, Xoey wants to make the world for humans and wild animals only. She carries alot of respect for anyone else who shares her views. Xoey can sense the presence of vampires if she concentrates, a Slayer skill she uses often.
Character History:Xoey doesn't remember much of her early life with her parents. She was in a broken home, her mother in jail for assaulting her father. He father was rarely around, and when he was he often beat and molested her, facts that she has suppressed and doesn't remember, but influence her everyday life. She'd always dreamed of the day her mother would get out of jail and take her away, but her mother died in a brawl at the local prison and that day never came.
When Chris found her and told her she was a potential Slayer, she eagerly fled her home to begin training at a very young age. Her father didn't notice for weeks. She never went to a real school, instead learning life from her Watcher. He was exceptionally young for a Watcher, being only 20 years older than her, age 25 when they met, and his regimes were a bit radical. She slayed her first vampire at the tender age of 8, shooting at it from afar with a longbow Chris had given her as a birthday present while he acted as bait. They were inseperable, and they loved each other.
When she was 10 and he was 30 she told him how she felt about him. At first he told her that she was too young to know what she wanted and that he didn't feel the same way, but only a few months later informed her of his feelings that he could never express, both as her Watcher, her father figure, and a much older man. She lost her virginity at age 10 and a half.
Most of her life was dull, training, learning, and occasionaly slaying. Not having any supernatural abilities between the two of them, they only actually put her training to use when it was completely neccesary or a routine patrol. She was never allowed to fight in hand to hand combat, instead using the longbow she treasured. She had no one but Chris, the man she loved, and she didn't need anyone else.
Then, when she was 16, something horrible happened. Xoey and Chris were pursued by Bringers, who killed her Watcher. Xoey ran away, something she never forgave herself for. She kept in hiding for a long time out of fear, then tried to blend in to the normal society which she had forfeit 11 years ago. She was hungry and cold most of the time, Chris had always fed and provided for her, and she had never questioned it. She kept few posessions, only a picture of Chris, her longbow, and some clothes.
One day, she suddenly felt different. Stronger, more in control. For a time she thought she had become The Slayer, what her life had led to, and returned to hunting demons and vampires, this time seeking them out. Eventually she learned through a coven that had a demon tribe after their leader that all potential slayers had been awoken. She learned about the demon Bringers, whom she had originally thought to be humans, and found the nearest nexus of evil to hunt their kind. Cleveland.
Character Appearance:Xoxo has long, straight, black hair that comes down to her waist, though it's almost perpetually braided into pigtails. She is Japanese, and has has almond-shaped black eyes and tanned skin. Her cheekbones aren't very defined at all, giving her the look of a plump face. Xoey is short, about 4'9", with a very petite bust. Most of her form is muscle, though she still remains small and skinny despite it. She has a tatoo of a phoenix on her back and shoulder blades.
