ONCE CONNOR GOT FINISHED WITH GETTING CLEANED UP, SHAVEN, AND DRESSED, HE HAD TAKEN A TOUR OF THE MANSION. AT THE END OF THE 3RD FLOOR CORRIDOR, WHICH WAS SIMILAR TO THE FIRST FLOOR CORRIDOR WITH IT'S LENGTH AND MANY DOORS FLANKING EITHER SIDE, HE FOUND AN ATIIC-HATCH. CONNOR PULLED ON THE CORD ATTATCHED TO THE CEILING, AND NARROWLY MISSED GETTING WHACKED IN THE HEAD BY THE STAIRS THAT CAME UNFOLDING DOWN. WARILY, HE CLIMBED THEM. THE BUILDING WAS NOT OLD, BY ANY MEANS, BUT WHO KNEW IF THESE STAIRS WERE STURDY OR NOT? AT THE TOP OF STEPS, HE HAULED HIMSELF UP AND STOOD ON A WOODEN BEAM, NOTICING THE ATTICS WERE UNFINISHED... BUT HUGE. THEY EXTENDED THE ENTIRE LENGTH OF THE HOUSE... WHICH SEEMED TO BE A HALF MILE LONG, IN HIS ESTIMATE. RIDICULOUS THAT THE WATCHER'S GUILD HAD KEPT THIS JEWEL HIDDEN, HE THOUGHT TO HIMSELF. AFTER PERUSING FOR A FEW HOURS, HE GLANCED AT HIS WATCH. WELL AFTER NOON. NEARING MID-AFTERNOON, HIS STOMACH YELLED. CONNOR LEFT THE ATTICS AND HEADED DOWN TO THE MAIN FLOOR, INTENT ON EATING AND THEN CHECKING OUT THE BASEMENT. HEADING DOWNSTAIRS, HE NOTICED THAT HE CAME OUT INTO THE SAME HALLWAY WHICH LED TO EVERYTHING ELSE, AND INSTEAD OF GOING RIGHT TO THE KITCHEN, HE PROCEEDED TO THE END THAT LED TO THE FOYER/LIVINGROOM, AND BUMPED INTO BUFFY, WHO WAS STANDING JUST OUTSIDE THE DOOR.
"WHAT'S UP? WHAT ARE YOU-" HE FOLLOWED HER GAZE. "LORNE! HEY MAN!."HE EXCLAIMED, WALKING OVER TO LORNE WITH ARMS WIDE OPEN, AND GRINNING FROM EAR TO EAR. "I THOUGHT YOU WERE HEADING TO VEGAS?"
((SIDEBAR FROM ME- IF NO ONE WANTS XANDER, I CAN TAKE HIM BACK FOR YOU.))

Faith looked Andrew over. "Those make you look rockin, dude. What happened to your suitcase? I mean you did remember to bring one right? Didn't leave it on the plane?" She chuckled to herself, and gently punched him in the shoulder. "Come on, I'll give you a tour." She gestured for them to exit her room, and she quickly shut the door, locking it. "Buffy, I, and Giles are going to be sitting down soon to figure out where to start. The two chicks that rode with me here seem to already know how to slay the vamps pretty well, and so does Phoenix, but we will need to find some more watchers to help out with taking charge and stuff, so I guess that's why you're here, huh? Anyways, when we have our chat with the group, we'll know more then, but for right now, we're just chillin."

Andrew rubbed his shoulder where she had punched him, which he was pretty sure now had a giant bruise on it. He didn't say anything though, he figured the Slayer had forgotten that her gentle wasn't his. He followed her out of the room. "I guess it is," he responded. "Giles was really vague about it. But maybe I should meet them anyways." Walking in the tighter pants felt weird, but not exactly bad. "I wonder where Xander is, I haven't seen him since I got here." "So," he started, his nerdiness getting the better of him, "Is there a game cube here?" [[[I think that'd be fine, no one's claimed him.]]]

Faith rolled her eyes at Andrew. "Not unless you brought one for yourself. We will be converting one of the 2nd story living rooms into an entertainment area, but the items in which are placed there are solely by those that purchase them. So save up Nerd boy."
Faith and Andrew made it downstairs, and she smirked at Connor. "Hello Connor. Wanna help me give Andrew here the tour of the place?"

"Morning," Lucie said, smiling at Steph. She noticed Steph's eyes were red. She felt a pang of sympathy towards her. "Steph, um- I don't want to intrude on your privacy, but it seems like someone should ask... Faith and I are worried about you. I just want to kow what's up and how I can help, if I can." Lucie said, meaning every word she said. Lucie was genuinely concerned about her fellow slayer. She noticed Steph's blanket looked a bit soggy- from tears, no doubt.

CONNOR QUICKLY LET GO OF LORNE AND TOOK SEVERAL STEPS TOWARD FAITH, WHO LOOKED JUST EDIBLE TODAY... THOUGH HE FOR DAMN SURE WOULDN'T BE SAYING THAT OUT LOUD. "UH, HEY, FAITH, HOW'S IT GOIN'?" HE ASKED NONCHALANTLY. LOOKING AT THE DORKY KID, HE ASKED ,"YOU'RE ANDREW? OK. UH, YEAH WELL, I'M ABOUT TO EAT, SO... SORRY, I CAN'T." IT WOULD DO NO GOOD TO MAKE HER THINK HE STILL HAD THAT CRUSH.

Faith smiled at Connor, as he disappeared towards the kitchen. "Catch ya later, kid." She shrugged and went to join Angel and Lorne in the living room. "Angel, Lorne, This is Andrew. He's one of the watchers that helped us back in Sunnyhell. Andrew, the handsome peachy pale colored dude, Angel. The greenness machine over here is Lorne, and this is our living room. Make yourself at home, I need to go take care of some things Andrew." She chuckled as Andrew rolled his eyes and she left heading into the kitchen. She knew Connor was in there, making lunch no doubt, and sat at the kitchen Island bar watching him intently. "Hey kid, you want to train later with and the new slayers?"

Buffy had no chance to answer Connor. And by the time she did, he was drooling over Faith. "Good Lord," she said, walking over to Angel. "Tell your son to wipe the drool. And that's the famous Lorne, huh?" She leaned against his chest, relaxing for a minute. "You hungry? Wanna go into town?"

CONNOR WAS SLIGHTY STARVING, AND WAS BUSY MAKING THE MOTHER OF ALL SANDWICHES WHILE LISTENING TO FAITH AND CHOWING ON SOME CHIPS.
"OK," HE MUMBLED AROUND THE CHIPS.

Layla Smart "Morning," Lucie said, smiling at Steph. Steph went back over to her bed, and sat down. "The trip here was hard. I lost my family when I was younger, and we passed several places I remember as a small child. It just brought back some old memories. I just miss them a lot. I...also recieved a letter the other day..." She dug around her desk and handed Lucie the letter, wiping more tears from her eyes. "The government sent me a letter when I turned sixteen telling me I was to know the details of what they found when they did the autopsy of my parents. My mom...she...she was pregnant with twins girls. She was late enough in the pregnancy that they were able to save the babies, but I don't know what happened to them or where they are. I just...I don't know if knowing this now is going to help me. I don't know what I should do. I mean...I can't just stop here, now that I'm here, can I?" She pulled out a picture, a very old and used picture, and handed to Lucie. It was her mom and dad standing front of a giant plane. In front of them stood a little 5 year old girl with a humongous smile on her face. ((sidebar from angry michelle - where is the colored font, woman.))

"OK," HE MUMBLED AROUND THE CHIPS. "OK then. Meet us in the basement at 7. We'll start the workout then, and go out once it gets dark." She stole some of his chips, and marched back out to the living room, noticing B.(Forgot she was there. Oops burning_eyes ) "Hey B. I think we should start with the training tonight. Connor said he'd help out, and I think most of them are ready. You game?"

Andrew felt a little awkward around the couple and the "greenness machine," so he slowly edged out of the living room. The tour had ended a little quickly, so he decided to take his own look around. He found stairs leading down, where he found a TV. "Thank god," he thought to himself, and turned it on, settling down on a couch in front of it. There wasn't much on, so he settled on a movie. He jumped in halfway, but it seemed to be about some mormon boy in LA.

Lucie listened attentively to Steph's story. No wonder she was like this. "Oh my god, Steph... I can't imagine what you've been through. And now, finding out that you have sisters somewhere out there... Listen, Steph, I'm sure you'll find them." Lucie thought about something for a second, "I might have an idea... My father's friend- I called him Uncle Tony- he works at the FBI. Uncle Tony's my godfather and- maybe, just maybe- he could help you? I mean, it's up to you of course...." Lucie gave Steph a sad, sympathetic smile.

"Faith, you can handle that can't you?" Buffy wanted to be assured that they could all handle the absence that she and Angel were about to instill. "You and Connor and maybe Kennedy? I mean, she did great under all that pressure, and I'm sure that now will be no different... And Dawn can help too. She needs some more training, since she's such a big girl now." The last was said a bit bitterly. There was some definite sisterly irritation going on with the Summers right now.

She sat in thought for a moment, and then smiled at Lucie. "Sure, lets give it a try."She stood up, and hugged Lucie tightly. "Thanks, Luce." As Lucie looked back in her eyes, she could the sadness slip from them, and be replaced with hope.
