*nods* That's why you shouldn't put your drinks down. Period! You drink. You dance. You drink. You dance. You don't stand, waving ur drinks around willy nilly.... Putting them on tables in crowded clubs... *shakes head*
I sometimes think there isn't enough education about this stuff in schools... But then again, they may have been! *hehe* I didn't really pay attention in Health classes... lol

Well, drugs and alcohol was basically most of our Health unit, since it took like two months to learn about everything. It's really scary to hear what drugs and liquor can do to you if you're not extremely careful.

Ah... Drugs and Booze... Two things I DO know about...
Mixing... Is bad. So bad... *shakes head* Prescription drugs and booze shouldn't be mixed either! neutral

Yeah, because the effect will be a lot more powerful and might be fatal.
That's how Ecstasy is. Some producers might make one pill more potent then another one, and then the person taking these might take two super potent ones on accident, and die.

Yes. Which is why, if you do end up ever taking drugs, you should get them from someone you trust. Make sure you know what is IN the drugs.
It's the MIXING of things in drugs that can also cause the overdose... A lot of drugs made these days aren't the pure stuff our parents took...
(My Dad, when I was younger, told me he was OK with me experimenting. So long as I didn't do needle drugs. So my Dad KNEW when I was doing drugs, and I only ever smoked a little pot in high school. And our parents all knew. It's better to be able to talk to your parents about these things. And if you can't with them, find someone else! Someone you trust. And someone who you know is RESPONSIBLE.)

I actually asked my mom if she had ever done drugs, and she said that she tried smoking before, but that's it. My dad smoked, and ended up dying because of it, so I plan on not doing any sort of drugs.

Yes.... I don't intend to do any more drugs in my life... I'd rather not risk doing any further mental harm to myself! My Dad, however, did most-everything under the sun, when he was younger. Which is why he was alright with me experimenting... But then again, the whole, You Can if you Want To thing kinda makes it... I dunno... *shrugs* lol. I was likely never going to do much anyways!
A lot of my friends do drugs. But only at parties... One guy, he has Mushroom parties. lol. They always invite me, but I don't go.

Well, it's good that you're staying clean. 3nodding And especially don't try to fit in with your friends by doing drugs.
I don't think any of my friends do drugs, but I hear all the time about this kid on my bus (who's in 7th grade, I think), that does all kinds of stuff.

Ah, no... It's not that kinda crowd... Who forces anything on anyone... No. that crowd are my EAS friends (Exploring Alternative Spiritualities club at Uni). The mushroom party guy? Takes them as a spiritual trip... lol. But don't u get me started on the story he always tells about the flying Reindeer with their red and white mushrooms! lol

Naw... Never take drugs without a) ur parents permission. b) someone to watch out for you. c) if you have a history of mental illness in the family. d) if you're taking other medications.

Also, don't take more than what you wer prescribed with. Then you'll become addicted, and won't be able to get off of the medication.

Ah, yes... How many times have I almost gotten to that point... *shakes head* I get nasty headaches and migranes... But I always have to be SO careful to not take them every day and all that.... *sigh* SO easy to get hooked on pain killers.

Oh, I did that once. I think I took like, a Tylenol everyday until I started to get sick. I ended up being sick for three days because of those. D:
