((Thanks.))
Then, he pulled on the fist he still had ahold of, set his left foot on her shoulder only for a moment, and swung his foot straight at Ran's face. I can only hope this'll work. I never thought I was capable of...this. I'm gonna hafta do this more often.
"Aaagh!" Kaosu yelled as his foot flew closer and closer to Ran's face, actually proud of himself for once.

When he grabbed her fist, he'd notice one thing, right off the bat. This only seemed to enrage her more. When he brought his leg up for a kick, she brought her arm upward, catching the blow harmlessly against her leg, as reiatsu flared up around her. Even without her sword, the woman had already reached shikai, and you could tell.
As soon as she'd deflected the blow, she moved in for a very rapid strike, this one aimed against his leg itself, specifically toward the knee. If anyone didn't know better, it was almost as if she was attempting to shatter bone with her strikes. No sooner had she done this than she speared her other hand forward, fingers in a piercing style, straight toward where his heart would be.
As she moved, the tattoo seemed to spread across her back, black petals enveloping her upper back, and spreading down into her hakama, where they vanished from sight, the soft brown of her entire shinigami uniform changing from it's usual darker black, that vicious look on her face never leaving, her hazel eyes themselves darkening. She was honestly trying to kill him. That much would become apparent at this point. This wasn't just a spar anymore.

Kaosu noticed the intense rage coming from his partner's eyes, and smiled. Looks like she's getting into the moment. Maybe I aughta pop it up a notch as well...if I make it that far. Then, he felt the reiatsu around him. Jeezus, what the hell is she playing at?
Then, he returned his focus to the situation at hand; fighting Ran. He saw the strike going towards his knee, and kicked it away with his open foot effortlessly. But, still running with the momentum of the kick, he saw a fast jab coming towards him. Aw, crap. The jab hit directly where it was intended, sending Kaosu backwards and into the nearest wall. He didn't break through anything, thankfully, but he still just sat there. He tried getting up, but both the damage he had taken and the heavy reiatsu kept him down.
Ow... Kaosu thought as he lay against the hard surface behind him. He strained as he lifted himself slowly to his feet, the struggle evident in his face. He took a few wobbly steps before he again collapsed onto his knees. Again. I've failed. Kaosu managed to think, whilst the reiatsu still pushed his weakened frame lower and lower. Is this really what I'm doomed for? One after the other, I haven't succeeded. Kaosu was barely propping himself up on wobbly arms and knees. Or is this just...the results of my stupidity? He finally fell onto his chest as he continued, Is it possible all I am is a blundering powerhouse? Kaosu sighed as he lay there. And here I thought I was strong enough.

When the blow had knocked him away, she'd debated on moving forward to strike him, again, the unsurpassed rage inside her head building, and the woman stopped mid movement, her hand in that same piercing motion above Kaosu, voice almost deathly soft.
"Stand up. Stand up and fight!" her hand drew back, and she prepared to strike, fist folded, just above his head. At this angle, she'd be unlikely to miss. Something with her was horribly horribly wrong.

Kaosu saw her feet approaching and expected a hand offered and a sarcastic remark. But, nothing he expected had happened this day. "Stand up. Stand up and fight." He heard from Ran. He lay there a moment as he contemplated whether she was just jesting with him. Or...is this a challenge?
However, he turned around to his back and saw the raised fist. A jolt of fear rushed down his spine, seeing as he could barely move. His eyes first went from the fist to the woman's eyes. He didn't see the calm, strong Ran he was fighting before. No, this was different.
Fear stuck his eyes as he just lay there. Gotta...move! Kaosu tried getting up, and the pain from the heavy jab started up again. And then, the tart taste of blood hit the back of his throat. He licked his lips, and they were covered in blood. When'd that get there? He managed to prop himself into a standing position against the wall and looked up at Ran, his normal smile completely gone. Instead, it was replaced with a pained frown traced with blood. Sweat continued beading down Kaosu's face as he finally pushed himself off of the wall.
"Ran. I...give up. I don't think I can take much more." Completely ignoring the fact that the woman was clearly not herself, he clapped her shoulder with his hand and said. "Hey, good fight." He coughed again, and a small, thin line of blood ran down to his chin. "Might hafta find Ugu for some...healing, eh?" Kaosu swallowed his blood, cleaning his teeth, and smiled.
His knees were wobbling as he struggled to keep standing. "We...might have to do that again sometime." Still his hand was on her shoulder.

((I guess I will attend this class later when there is something I can actually do....heh....))
Haro sighed as he looked around the classroom and he shook his head, looking around as he narrowed his eyes and he slammed his fist once more into the punching bag and sent a little bit of sand dripping to the floor from a small hole. He sighed and walked towards the exit, looking to Tsai with a smile. "Hey...I'll see you again soon I hope Tsai...sorry I couldn't stick around. But there is no point for me to be here if I am doing nothing but watching you guys training and not doing anything myself." He said with a laugh. He bowed to the sensei and smiled slightly. "I am also sorry to you Sensei, but I hope to see you soon as well." He said with a smile. HE then turned around and walked out of the class, he was going to do some self training, at least then he could actually do something.

He runs into the class finally..it's taken him a while. A run from his manor, to the academy, to the class itself..well, it's quite a run. He skids in and calls out to her..
"Oi, Ran! Whatever's going on..it would be best to let up! You can't let things like that take control..I understand what it means, but if you keep at it, there's no returning from where you're heading to. You avoided it all this time where you were..is it wise to do this now?"
Still, he prepared his own style. He knew that in pure hand to hand, he had an edge over the woman..but he has no idea..why is this happening, and what triggered it now?

It was Megumi's voice, that seemed to draw Ran out of the haze. Even he would realize something had changed, that the soft browns had turned to black, and that she had become something different. Maybe not in the sense of a physical change, but somewhere in her mind, something had snapped.
And then she turns away from Kaosu, trembling, before facing Megumi.
"Huh? Yeah. Sorry 'bout that." and she was grinning from ear to ear, sheepish as it was, rubbing the back of her head softly as she avoided the gaze of either man.
"Yeah, good fight Kaosu. We'll try 'gain when yer stronger." and her fingers laced behind her head as she walked away from him, shoulder slipping easily from beneath his hand, when her eyes open again, they're back to their normal hazel color. "I guess I got carried away."

Kaosu nodded slowly, and kept his head bowed. His speech was heavily slurred. "Uhh..yeh. Good fight." His hand dropped from her shoulder when she turned to someone Kaosu didn't see or recognize. And to tell you the truth...I don't care. But then, just suddenly, Kaosu felt himself leaning. He tried to correct it, but he was too weak at the moment.
His back slammed into the mat and it forced another blood-rimmed cough from his throat. He just lay there, again barely able to move. He could see, hear, and think well enough. No idea if he could speak; not that he really wanted to. Kaosu looked at the back of Ran's head, pondering what the hell had just happened. I've only seen that look once before, and it wasn't from no shinigami. Is it...even...no, that can't be possible. No, there's no way that could be...a hollow's eyes? Then, Kaosu finally looked at himself from the limited point of view he had.
His lips and chin were lightly coated with blood. His blood. The same blood had dripped onto his gi. He used his arms to open his gi partially, revealing the spot Ran had assaulted only seconds before. It was actually partially pressed into Kaosu's body, creating a small crater. Dayam...it's already starting to bruise. And, in truth, that's what it had done. The bruise had lightly presented itself in a circle about an inch around. Though, anyone who knew alot about bruises knew that it would grow much bigger than that. Kaosu just sighed outwards as he closed his gi back up. And everyone saw this I'm guessing. He turned his head and saw Tsai looking at him.
Yep.
