I would make everyone moderatly telepathic. not so they can perform psyonic atacks or whatever, but so they had to empathise with the people around them and could communicate thier idea's perfectly.
that way whenever you feel like needing a hug, everyone around you knows it and will step up to help you out.
oh yeah, and everyone is nice. and smart. and pretty too, thier own individual idea's of pretty, not mine.
