i'm a big fan of SOAD,they're not my favorite band,but they sure are one of my favorites ^^
what i really like about them,that has got to be the magnificent guitar work.
i myself am a guitar player,i know some songs,but hell,some others are just way too hard smile
i've got some pics of SOAD on graspop metal meeting,if anyone's interested, i might just post them here ^^

Cid-Darko: I really don't like Mars Volta that much... the lead singer has way too high of a voice... but yeah, I thought System was going to Puerto Rico or something like that... guess not...

Black Yoshi: Yeah, I have to agree with you there. Most of the guitar parts have some sort of rhythm or pattern to them that's not necisarilly normal, but another thing that makes it hard to play thier music is that alot of it is in drop C, so that could be a problem too.

Majinx: I love Deer Dance too, in fact that was one of my first favorites. I'm just a little burned out on the entire Toxicity CD right now though...

I can't remember if I introduced myself...... whee I'm too lazy to do it now though. xd

[ Yay for introduction! Hmm...and randomness...but that's beside the point.
I'm Guilty, or better known as Amy [ feel free to call me either whee ], but my nickname ish Bunny. ^^
Yet again as everyone else has joined the guild for the same reason, I love System of a Down. Sadly I won't be going to their show near me August 12th [ unless I somehow get lucky and win the tickets ninja ], which really sucks because I had plans to...but I guess I will wait until they go out on the second half, the Hypnotize tour [ assuming they will do a tour for that album whee ].
In other words, I don't love the band just because. I find alot of the political messages they have in some of their songs to be true, or at least where I agree with them...and I appreciate the fact that they state things so blatantly, without really "sugarcoating" it.
Also, they're sort of a foreign band. As in their nationalities. And I find that interesting, because you really don't see alot of bands with a huge variance in ethnicities.
As for favorite songs and albums... I can't say I just have one. I remember learning of System of a Down's existance from their songs "Chop Suey!" and "Aerials", and really enjoying them. Then along came "Sugar", which is the song I listen to when I wanna get pumped up. Though, some of my favorites are "I-E-A-I-A-I-O", "Revenga", "Boom", "Psycho", "ATWA", "Streamline", "Violent Pornography", and "Cigaro". But those are just a few. xd
Okay, enough rambling. Oh wait, I forgot... I am 15 years old, and a bit on the crazy side. <3
