OK...What I found was a letter in the DWMail, with the picture you've already seen. They specifically state that it appears in Heroes episode 7, 3 episodes before CE shows up in the series, and it is at 25 minutes, 25 seconds.
You got it on tape or something? smile

Hey, I was watching movie trailers today when I went to see OotP & I saw a trailer for a movie coming out I think in October. If I recall right the name was "The Dark Rising", or something like that. Guess who's face I saw...as a Dark Rider with wild long dark hair & beard? Checked the movie poster in the lobby & sure enough...Christopher Eccleston! mrgreen

*runs to iMDB* Aha! I had wondered why you had brought this thread out of the dust. =3 OMG!!! I had read a post-Heroes interview about that!!
It's called The Dark is Rising, and it's an adaptation of the novel by Susan Cooper. Release date is October 5. Christopher Eccleston is the leading bad guy, for a change. 0_o Although he doesn't have a beard.. dunno where you got that from.. This is the interview I read. This is the one of him on Heroes.
Aha, yeah, he reminds me of Hugh Jackman's hair in Van Helsing, a bit. rofl

I can't hardly believe that that rider is Eccleston in the middle!

Quote: I'd like to ask you a question about 'Heroes', is your character coming back this season or next season? Do you have plans?Eccleston: We haven't spoken about that yet. I'd certainly be open to it. I get the feeling that they'd be open to it, but I think we all feel that he made a good impact and in a sense it's a decision whether to leave it at that because it just adds to the fabric of their series. I think there's got to be something really meaty for him to do for me to go back, but I'd certainly like to. I was made very welcome by that crew and that cast. Being a Brit on that film, I've never been offered so many cups of tea in my life. But you do, it's like you get lots of attention because you're different. Underline done by me for emphasis
Quote: You're not hesitant about signing something which may or may have to do more than one movie before actually doing the movie to see how it goes?Eccleston: Of course I'm hesitant. Of course. But that was the deal. This relates to him being hesitant about more than one season of Doctor Who, of course. =3
Ah well, there I go spiraling off topic, but we could just consider this a thread about Eccleston - only he's not on Heroes anymore.. =3 xp

If you see that poster in person, you'll know it's him--you can see the eyes a lot better. smile And in the movie trailer he speaks, & that's pretty telling too. Funny, I didn't get the impression of him as clean-shaven in the brief unmasked glimpse I got. Not a thick, heavy beard, but not clean-shaven, either....
(Sadly, this movie didn't look too interesting. meanwhile, a shorter preview of "The Golden Compass" made me go eek WOAH!! COOOOL!!! xd )

I figure I'll go see it for Eccleston, and I've read a review that said even with him as a huge character, it didn't look so good. So yeah, just for that reason, although I'll check out the trailers first.
I saw that preview for The Golden Compass a month ago, and fell in love. Read the series by any chance?? It's amazing; I got it for Christmas last year or so.
I can't wait to see Lyra's daemon, but especially the armoured bear. Or whatever it is. Gotta go re-read it. (My parents thought it was total and utter weirdness, but they'd never heard of it xd )

I haven't read the book yet. I've been kind of curious about the Golden Compass ever since it first came out, but I never did buy it.
Go to my profile & see if the Golden Compass doodad I stuck on there will still offer you your own daemon. smile And DON'T set it to let people change it unless you really don't like it. I had a sweet little mouse, & at the last minute somebody changed it to a monkey. :X Now I'm stuck with it.

I loved Lyra's daemon as a panther or whatever cat thing that was.. or was that the boys'? Can't remember... confused

Well, I've just watched the first episode and a half of Heroes, and I can see me not watching it again until Chris joins the cast. I found myself losing interest and entertaining myself by trying to translate the Japanese spoken and written.
