I think she can be a bit "sleazy" at times. But then again I really don' like her either. I mean even if all those guys don't seem like a lot that is more men then any other female character on the show. heck Chloe has only had two ACTUAL boyfriends I wouldn't really count Sean or Tyler.

Well what else would you have Lana do on the show other then cause relationship problems? She doesn't exactly have any real purpose then that. Lois and Chloe are the loyal sidekicks of Clark that help with investigations. Lana can't do that, she is too um....fragile for that type of hard hitting stuff.

All Lana's purpose has ever been is to create and destroy relationships and profide pretty angsty scenes for the times in between. True, they do try to give more depth to her character every once in a while, but it always ends up stretched thin and with flimsy reasoning behind it. (ie school of the arts? since when is Lana artistic in any way that the audience knows of?)

They need to shoo her off or give her a in-depth storyline that doesn't involve romance..

They really don't care much into developing that type of thing.

I wouldn't really call Lois a faithful side kick, I mean she is Chloe's faithful side-kick, and Chloe is Clark's side kick. Lois is kind of a Side-kick's Side-kick. Lois really isn't doing it for Clark so much as helping out her cousin.
Lana's point or purpose I think is to bring sexuality to the show. Not even in a joking manner. I mean truly she has really kind of filled that position in a sense. I mean she is always the basis of a guys interest.

`Chloe Sullivan` I wouldn't really call Lois a faithful side kick, I mean she is Chloe's faithful side-kick, and Chloe is Clark's side kick. Lois is kind of a Side-kick's Side-kick. Lois really isn't doing it for Clark so much as helping out her cousin. I don't consider Lois to be a sidekick at all, really. She acted in that capacity in Exposed, but generally she doesn't behave like a sidekick in team-ups.

Lois does consider herself Chloe's "side-kick" or "trusty Assistant" as she calls herself. Because Lois has helped Chloe more then just in Exposed to help with certain situations. I.E. Commencement, Solitude, etc.
