Time: 0:17. That's footage from his David Live concerts. My book says they're amazing and David was all like 'I used to get stuck out there and I'd have to sing three or four songs before they reeled me in, and sometimes I had to climb over and jump before it all fell to its doom.'

The song is about how a man would rather have sexual encounters with women than help his friends. The word "suffragette" is often seen as a pejorative term from its origins in the early twentieth century, separate from the more positive, all-encompassing term "suffragist." In the song, this usage could reflect the narrator's attitudes towards women as purely sexual and without any other significant value. It could also refer to the narrator's interpretation of feminist sexual liberation as a way of making his promiscuous lifestyle easier than ever. Given the context of its original album, this interpretation seems to make sense.

I love it. I watch Flight of the Conchords sometimes, but I missed that one.
"hey Bowie, do you have one really funky sequined spacesuit, or do you have several-Ch-Changes!" "Receiving Transmissions from David Bowie's n****e Antenna"
I nearly died watching that. They both sounded a bit like him. How bizzare.
