Severus held onto him tightly, sniffling. "D-don't leave me alone... Please..." he begged, slowly looking up at him.

Sirius looked back at him, then after a moment he nodded,"I won't." Wild thoughts of living with Severus and the like ran through his head, but he knew it wasn't possible.

He swallowed, shivering slightly and holding onto Sirius still. He looked up worriedly as Talon came over. "I... I thought.. you were one of them..."
Talon nodded slightly. "I'm still declawing you," he said, ruffling the wolf's hair lightly. "They'll grow back, don't worry. But I doubt Sirius is going to want to stay in here while I try healing you. There's going to be a few needles."

Sirius started inching away, without letting go of Severus. He wanted to stay, but he knew he wouldn't be able to stand it for long. He gave Severus a quick kiss and stood up. Great, he was already breaking his promise to stay with him. The guilt was painfully obvious on his face.

Severus watched him worriedly. "Y-you'll... come back when it's done.. Right?" he asked nervously.
Talon nodded. "I'll make sure he comes back in." He made the wolf lay back down and put a mask over his mouth and nose. "Just breathe in deep and count back from 100."
Severus watched Sirius still. "100.... 99..... 98...." When he reached 95, he was out.

"I'll come back." Sirius waited until he was out, before turning and leaving without a word. What Severus had told him was still running through his head. It hadn't been a nightmare...it was real. And Sirius was pissed. He knew he couldn't do anything though. He hadn't even been able to keep it from happening...he was never going to forgive himself.

Remus didn't know why he'd arrived at Nykol's castle, but he moved as if haunted, chased there by some sixth sense-- or perhaps merely the feeling of such darkness. This seemed familar... so familiar...
He spotted Sirius and froze for a moment. The other wolf looked so upset... what was going on? "Padfoot...?" Remus' clear, smooth voice tinged with worry drifted over to the other wizard.

Sirius started and turned to look at Remus, both hands pausing in their travels through his hair."Oh...hey Remus." He blinked, a little confused. He shook his head and glanced back towards where Severus was, chewing on his lower lip,"What're you doing here?" It wasn't the guilty sort of 'what're you doing here' it was the 'somethings going on, but I don't know how exactly to say what' sort.

Remus shrugged slightly. "I just... felt like something was wrong," the werewolf glanced downwards. "Is something happening, Siri?" he asked softly, moving to stand next to the wolf.

"Yeah...I'd rather you asked Severus for yourself though,"Sirius answered lightly, pushing his hair away from his face. Thankfully, the color he'd lost from vomiting had come back to his face, so he seemed normal, except for the fact he was worried.

Now Remus was worried. "Sirius... what's going on? Is he in there?" Remus' eyes darted towards the door.

"Yes, he is. But I said ask him," Sirius crossed his arms and gazed at the door for a moment."I'd be in there, but there's needles involved...wouldn't do to good to be vomiting all over the place...you might be allowed in."

Remus bit back a soft snarl, giving Sirius a kiss on the cheek before moving to knock on the door to the room, asking entrance.
