Quote: 23rd January 2005Rhiannon yawned, stretching her arms above her as she sat up in bed. She didnt notice anything straight away, not until she wriggled her feet as she stretched her toes - which werent under the covers anymore! She felt around her tummy which seemed breezier them normal - her nightie was bunched up around her chest and was tighter on her then went she went to bed. She got up, quickly going over to the big mirror in her room. And stared...and looked, and ran a hand through her longer hair, peering at her reflection that was her, but so much different. She had grown overnight - she was a teenager like Cyrus! She tugged on the nightie, pulling it off over her head. It didnt fit her anymore - in fact none of her clothes did now. She felt a little panicked - she had to show her mother that she had grown, but she couldnt run around the house naked - well not looking like this anyway. She poked at the bumps on her chest; she had breasts now too? Was she gonna be a mummy now? She got scared again until she remembered what her mother her told her about that; she didnt have a 'daddy' like Sayuri had David, so she wasnt going to have a baby. She grinned, feeling silly. She glanced over at her bed; well there was something she could use, and she pulled the undersheet off, draping it around her like a makeshift toga. She walked to the door, still getting used to her longer limbs, and she looked fascinated at how strong her arms looked. She padded along the corridor, and almost ran into her mother; 'Who the hell are you?' Sayuri started to say, startled at the appearance of the sheet-clad young woman, then she looked properly. 'Rhi - Rhiannon?' It couldnt be, could it? Rhiannon said something but by then Sayuri's eyes had rolled upwards and she had crumpled to the floor. 'Oh - my - god,' muttered Rhiannon. Did she look that bad? She ran into the kitchen, hurriedly filled a glass with water and ran back, splashing her mother on the face. 'Wha-what?' said Sayuri as she sat up. Rhiannon knelt down and helped her mother sit up. 'You fainted Mum,' said Rhiannon. 'I dont look that bad do I?' Sayuri shook her head; 'God no sweetie!' she said, hugging her teenage daughter. 'You are beautiful - you just gave me a little bit of a fright is all.' 'Muuuum,' she grumbled, extricating herself from her arms. She had a fright? At least she hadnt gone to bed as a child and woken up with extra...curves. Sayuri let her go; 'Well I guess nothing is going to fit you now,' she stood up, and Rhiannon stood as well, clutching at the sheet. 'My nightie didnt - so I dont think anything else will.' Sayuri nodded, leading her to the room she shared with David; 'Well for now you can wear some of my things, and after breakfast we will go on a big shopping trip.' Rhiannon shut the bedroom door on her mother, checking that her Dad wasnt still in bed before rummaging through Sayuri's things to find the least 'mum-like' outfit that she could.

Quote: Rhiannon stood outside a clothes shop, peering in the window. She tugged absently on the baggy t-shirt she had managed to find in her mothers wardrobe, her sandalled feet peeking out from under the long denim skirt. Her mother had gone off to the bank so withdraw some money and she tapped a foot impatiently. She slipped inside the shop, ferreting through the first racks, looking at the jeans on display. She pulled out an indigo coloured pair, going over to the mirror and holding them against herself. They looked like they would fit, and they were boot cut. 'Those look nice,' came her mother's voice as she walked up behind Rhi. 'Go and try them on.' Rhiannon scuttled off to the changing rooms, going into a cubicle and trying them on underneath the skirt. They slipped on easily, and she turned about, looking at herself in them. She did look nice she admitted, and they were easy enough to move about in - climbing trees was still a possibility! She slipped them off again, smoothing her skirt down and put them back on the hanger. She joined her mother again; 'They fit ok?' Rhiannon nodded: 'Ok well lets get you a few pairs then,' and she picked off a pair in each different wash type in Rhi's size. She blinked, and Sayuri laughed; 'Did you think we were only buying a few things? You need a whole new wardrobe.' Rhiannon grinned - suddenly this shopping trip held alot more promise and as they carried on, they slowly became weighed down with bags; of baggy slacks, jumpers, t-shirts, and even a new coat. They were just leaving the shoe store where Rhiannon had picked out a pair of white trainers, and several pairs of black heeled boots when Sayuri said; 'Well one more place to go, and then we will stop and have a drink and a bite to eat,' and she led Rhiannon into a lingerie store. Rhiannon blinked, looking around at the array of lacy, cotton and silk underthings. Soon she was getting measured for her first bra - which in her opinion was the most embarrassing thing ever so far - and in a while they left with another bag full of knickers, bras, slips, tights and socks. They headed for the food court, Sayuri bought some sushi and Rhiannon chose a big, greasy hotdog with all the trimmings. Sipping her orange juice she looked across the table at Rhiannon; 'Try and remember to chew dear,' she grinned as Rhi scarfed the 'dog down. 'Mmm-k,' came the answer. Rhi swallowed, taking a drink of her soda and then burping. 'Manner's,' reminded her mother. 'Scuse me,' she giggled. Sayuri grinned; 'What a little piggy I have brought up,' she deadpanned. She finished her own food and sat back. 'Mum is it possible to like someone even if you call them names?' she asked, pushing the straw around her soda cup. 'Usually if someone calls you names they either dont like you or are doing it to cover their real feelings up,' she said as they stood, leaving the table, gathering up their bags and heading for home. Rhiannon didnt say much after that and Sayuri didnt push it. When they were home Rhiannon unpacked everything, and finally got out of her mother's loaned clothes, putting on a pair of jeans and top. She flopped down on the bed, looking at the time - maybe she could visit the clinic. There was still time before dinner, but first...

Quote: Dear Diary,
This is the very first time I have ever written such words - the first time I have ever wanted to. When we were out shopping we passed a stationery shop and I asked to go inside. There were a lot of hardbound books in one section; some were sketch books and others like this were lined, waiting for words. I picked this one up, the cover is red leather, and the pages are many - and I wanted to write. So I got this, and once we were home and I had put away all my new clothes and changed into some of them (no way was I going to spend any longer dressed in my mum's stuff!), I flopped onto the bed and opened this to write. I'm glad that mum made me practice writing over and over again when I was littler. My writing seems pretty neat to me. Today seems to have gone by in a blur. I still cant believe that I have grown overnight - I cant wait to show Cyrus! I think he was a little put-out that no one else had grown when I last saw him. I hope that he likes how I look - and isnt put off by my new curves and things. My mum said that men liked how women looked, and she said I was very beautiful and anyone who didnt think so was blind or something. But she is my mum - doesnt she have to say stuff like that? I want a guys opinion - and not my dad's!! I want Cyrus's opinion. Mum said that sometime soon she would have to talk to me about sex - I said I know how babies were made remember? She said that wasnt what she was going to talk to me about. What could she mean? And why wont she talk to me about it now? There is something else I wonder about. I know the days when the moon will sing to me - Mum got me a calendar with the different phases of the moon listed on the days. But she had the full moon of this month circled? Why? Is something going to happen to - me? I think something might. I feel like my growing isnt the only thing thats going to happen. Like I am on the edge of something...I have to go now - Mum is yelling at me that dinner is ready.

Quote: Sayuri_Nitta Rhiannon peeked inside the clinic; no one was around yet and so she walked in properly. She was feeling nervous about meeting anyone right now, and she idly pushed strands of her hair behind an ear. Hands in her jean pockets she shuffled over to the seating area and sat down. She had persuaded her mother to let her go here on her own the first visit after her growing. She really couldnt deal with the proud 'look at my big grown up girl' looks right now. Jiora Cyrus stepped into the clinic not long after Rhiannon, one hand stuffed into a pocket. He glanced around briefly, rubbing the back of his head with his free hand. There didn't seem to be anyone around that he knew... Just that strange girl sitting down.
Wait...
He frowned and wandered closer, leaning down just a bit as though taking a closer look. "Rhi..?" How many girls had a white stripe in their hair like that? Sayuri_Nitta She looked up, startled out of whatever she was thinking about. She pushed the hair behind her ear again and grinned sheepishly; 'Yeah its me.' she looked at her feet, wriggling around her new boots. 'Hiya', she said, finally feeling brave enough to look up at him again. Jiora He rocked back on his heels, giving her a brief once over. She looked really different. Not at all like the little girl in the stupid dress he'd seen just a few days ago. Did he look that different from how he'd been as a child too?
He sighed, dismissing the thought, and tilted his head to one side. "So how're you takin' it? Did your parents go as nuts as my mom an' aunt did?" Sayuri_Nitta She nodded, grinning even wider; 'My mum fainted - just keeled over onto the floor. I had to throw a glass of water on her face,' she said. 'Dad - he disappeared into his weapons room.' she shrugged, she would find out later what that had been about. She fell quiet again, looking at him. 'Do I - do I look okay?' Jiora Cyrus blinked, the corners of his mouth pulling back in an amused smirk. "Yours fainted? Mine just started babbling about how great it was and stuff." He blinked then, one ear twitching back when she questioned him. ..what the hell was she asking him for? His brows knit together and he glanced over her again, a somewhat confused expression on his face. "You look like a girl should. So..yeah. You look okay." Honestly, what kind of dumb question was that? Sayuri_Nitta She nodded; she knew that he had always been honest - even painfully so. 'My mother was gushing about how wonderful I looked,' she explained. 'I wanted to know the truth.' she wiped her slightly sweaty palms on her jeans. Talking to Cyrus like this was new - he wasnt running away from her or saying she had cooties. Jiora He shrugged lazily again, dropping into a chair not too far from Rhiannon and pulling out a handheld game. A few pings sounded from it before he turned the volume down so he could play and still pay at least some attention to the conversation. "Yeah. Moms are hard to get the truth out of," he mumbled, frowning in frustration for a moment. His expression smoothed quickly enough, and he glanced up at Rhiannon for a moment. "So what's it like for you?" Maybe it was different somehow since she was a girl. Sayuri_Nitta 'Its odd,' she said, pulling her t-shirt tight. 'I got these new bumps - like my Mum has..' she poked her chest. 'See?' she said, looking at Cyrus. 'Mum says they are a sign of womanhood - breasts.' Jiora He glanced up at her again, arching a brow curiously as she tugged on her t-shirt and then... Then... ...right. Staring at the game now. He practically tore his gaze from her chest, trying to ignore the fact that he was blushing now - why was he doing that?! Maybe he was getting sick. It wasn't like he'd never seen those before... Weird.. "All girls have those though. S'normal." Sayuri_Nitta 'I know!' she said. 'But its odd to actually have them - they bounce too!' and she wiggled a little. She looked at him curiously; 'Your cheeks are all red y'know.' Jiora
He glanced up just in time for Rhi's little show and made an odd, strangled sound in the back of his throat. His gaze snapped back to the game rather quickly, and he shifted a bit uncomfortably in his seat. "Er, yeah... That's..normal too."Sayuri_Nitta 'It is?' she leaned over, looking at him. 'How do you know that?' she asked, noticing that he seemed - uneasy. Jiora
He stared rather attentively at the game he was playing, not that much was happening at the moment. Just a bunch of talking. "Yeah. And I know cu-" He cut off, shifting his gaze to look at her from the corner of his eye. Why was she so close all of a sudden?! That wasn't helping! "I know cuz I'm around stupid girls all the time! Makes it kinda hard not to notice!"
He inhaled sharply and let out a deep sigh, pausing only after what he'd said registered. ...hm... ..somehow, he doubted this was going to have a good outcome.
Damn.Sayuri_Nitta Her face dropped, and she shut her eyes pushing away. Should she run out? No - thats what she would have done a few days ago - but she was still really upset; she was a teenager now and he still thought she was stupid! She swivelled away from him in the chair and brought her knees up to her chin, leaning on them with folded arms and sniffing despondently. Jiora Cyrus watched Rhiannon with a look one might expect from a mouse trapped by a particularly hungry cat. What was she doing now?! ..oh wait. Was that a sniffle? ...crap. His gaze snapped to the exit rather suddenly, as though expecting her parents or - even worse - his own mother to come storming in and demanding explanations.
This was all her fault! Crying was a stupid thing to do - couldn't she see that she was only proving his point? Stupid crying girl.
He pinned his ears back and donned a somewhat sulky expression, leaning over to pat her shoulder hesitantly, half-expecting her to whirl around and yell at him. "Hey..don't cry," he mumbled lamely.
Sayuri_Nitta 'I..cant..help..it' she gulped out, wiping at her eyes. 'You hate me dont you? You keep calling me stupid.' she was fully aware that she was crying in front of him; something that in his eyes made her even more of a 'dumb girly' but right now she couldnt stop. Jiora "Well you keep doi-" ...wait. Maybe continuing that sentence was a bad idea. Sure, she was being pretty stupid with all this crying and stuff as far as he was concerned, but saying so would only make her cry more. Calling her stupid was what had started this whole mess in the first place, after all. "If I hated you I wouldn't be talking to you right now, st- Er. Rhi.." Yes. Rhi was exactly what he'd meant to say. Honestly.
Sayuri_Nitta 'You dont hate me?' she popped her head up and rubbed the end of her nose, looking at him. He liked her? Did he? She smiled at him shyly. 'You are always so mean to me!' and she smacked him a little on the arm. Jiora "Didn't I just say that I didn't?" He grumbled and settled into his seat again, frowning down at the game screen. Damnit..he'd lost the battle.
He blinked when she smacked him and glanced towards her. "Cuz you always act like a girl. You take things too seriously," he muttered. For a moment he paused, head tilted to the side as he gazed thoughtfully at the wall. "You still got cooties, by the way," he said with a grin, sticking his tongue out at her childishly. Sayuri_Nitta 'You'd take things seriously too if..' and then she stopped, looking at her fingers. 'Cooties dont exist,' she said, poking her tongue at him in return. And then she leaned in lightening fast and pecked him on the cheek. 'But if they do you have them again.' and she laughed. Jiora "If what?" He frowned curiously at her, ears pricking forward attentively. "And they do so," he retorted with that cheeky grin.
And then she kissed him. He froze for a moment, his mind struggling to catch up with what had just happened. Part of him wanted to jump up and declare how disgusting and gross that had just been, but the other part... Hm...
He glanced at her from the corner of his eye, rubbing at his cheek with a mock-irritated expression. "I built up an immunity from bein' around you so much." Sayuri_Nitta She nearly fell off her chair, she had been expecting him to call her stupid or leave. 'Har har,' she managed finally, grinning. 'If..if nothing,' she pushed her hair behind her ears all nerves again. 'What were you playing?' she asked, motioning to the game - trying to change the subject. Jiora Nothing, huh? As if he'd leave it at that. She'd sparked his curiosity by now.
He glanced at the game in his hands for a moment, flipping it over to look at the cartridge in it at the moment. "Some Final Fantasy thing my aunt gave me for Christmas." His attention turned to her again then, one ear swiveling attentively toward her. "Now, if what? You brought it up, so spill it." Sayuri_Nitta 'Oh thats cool,' she nodded. Well damn, she wished she hadnt said anything now. 'If..if you really wanted to be someone's friend but they never seemed to think much of you.' she looked at her boots again - they were fascinating right now. Jiora
"You're being stupid again!" ...crap. He'd said it again. Even if it was true, it couldn't be the best choice of words right now.
He sighed and dragged his fingers through his hair, pausing to tug on one of his ears nervously. "You take the things I do too seriously. I don't say things to be mean the way you always think.. And anyway, if you think I'm so mean then why did you wanna be my friend in the first place?"Sayuri_Nitta She shrugged, her fists balling a little when he called her stupid but she wasnt going to cry again; 'Because when you arent speaking to me like that you are alright.' she explained. Jiora He sighed again, one ear twitching in irritation. "Now that is seriously stupid." He wasnt' going to feel sorry about it this time. Not at all. "If someone makes you feel bad a lot and only is nice sometimes, why the hell would you wanna be friends with them? Do you like being upset or something?"
He paused a moment, leaning back in his chair again and frowning at the floor. "And so I don't think much before I talk. You should be at least smart enough to know that. You can't really think I like upsetting people, can you?" Sayuri_Nitta 'No I dont like being upset!' she burst out. She ran a hand through her hair. 'I can't explain it.' she sighed. 'I thought if I became your friend then you would speak to me like you speak to Bronwen.' Jiora He stared at her uncomprehendingly for a few moments, his left ear twitching madly in thought. "Well... I guess that explains why you were mean to Bronnie when I was tryin' to cheer her up the other day." He frowned in irritation at the memory. "Why'd you keep tryin' if you still thought I was mean though? You aren't that desperate for friends, are you?" Sayuri_Nitta 'I dont know that many people,' she muttered, shifting in her seat awkwardly. 'Not as friends anyway.' she bristled at the desperate part - she wasnt 'desperate' but she liked Cyrus - and it annoyed her that she didnt understand why she felt like she had to have his friendship. Jiora
He frowned a bit, tucking his game back into one of his pockets and crossing his arms over his chest. "Well neither do I, but I'm not getting all depressed about it." Except for maybe the complete lack of any male friends. There was no end to the female plague, it seemed! "You shouldn't be so dependant on other people."Sayuri_Nitta 'I am not dependant on other people!' she yelled, standing up now, feeling real anger and her green eyes flashed a moment. 'Because I dont want to be completely on my own and I'd like to be your friend I am weak?! You are an idiot - I dont care if you are my age - you are still a CHILD!!' she panted, her breath coming hard. Jiora He winced rather visibly at the sudden yell and rubbed at his ears with a sulky look, frowning up at the irate girl. "Did I say it made you weak?" he grumbled. "If I thought that I wouldn't bother making friends. I just said don't get too dependant. They aren't always that reliable." He shifted in his chair a bit, half-wondering if he should simply leave now. He couldn't remember ever seeing her angry like this before... "You don't seem like the kinda person that could deal well with losing a friend is all." Sayuri_Nitta Rhiannon backed away a little, turning and covering her face; that was really odd - she had felt like she wanted to hurt him! 'I would deal fine,' she muttered. Jiora
He frowned warily at her, shifting again and propping his feet up on a nearby chair. "You don't really act like it though..." Another wary glance. "..are you feeling okay? You're actin' kinda weird."Sayuri_Nitta 'I dont know,' she muttered, wobbling on her feet; she felt very odd indeed. She knew, knew it was something to do with what her Dad had told her; ever since she had learnt that the moon had some sort of power for her, she had learned when her lunar friend would be at its biggest - and tomorrow was a full moon. Jiora He stood up and reached for her arm, wanting to steady her a bit. "Maybe you should sit down for now or somethin'. You look like you could use some rest." It hadn't been anything he'd done, had it? He didn't think people could get weak just from being snapped at...but what else would be happening to make her act so weird? Sayuri_Nitta 'Thanks,' she said softly, the weird rage had gone away again and she just felt strangely light headed, and with his helping her she sat down. She stared at him, just trying to communicate without words that this was one of the reasons she liked him. She found herself speaking again; 'I know..' she started - then stopped. What if he left when she told him that she suspected that this was something to do with what part of her was? Jiora He frowned worriedly at her and leaned back against the wall, tucking his hands behind his head. Why was she looking at him like that now? He didn't think he had anything on his face.. He was reaching up to wipe at his cheek when she spoke again. "Know what?" He frowned slightly at her. "You really should finish the things you say." Sayuri_Nitta 'There isnt anything there,' she chuckled. 'I have an idea whats wrong.' she went on. 'But I'll tell you and you'll over react or something, and I'll get upset which I know you dont like.' she smiled weakly. 'So I shouldnt tell you.' Jiora He pinned his ears back a bit when she said he'd overreact, his tail twitching slightly. "Well maybe if you'd listen and stop taking everything I say so damn seriously you wouldn't think I was overreacting." He shoved his hands into his pockets and glanced up at the ceiling, as though searching for some sort of cue card there. "Anyway. If you know what's wrong you should talk to someone about it. It doesn't have to be me if you don't want...but don't just sit around hoping it'll get better. It just makes things worse." Sayuri_Nitta She scowled at him; 'I know sitting around wont make it better - nothing will make it better. I am part werewolf and tomorrow night is a full moon. I have never felt like this before and I am scared and worried.' she snapped, then shut up again, looking down at her clenched fists. Jiora He hunched his shoulders a bit and frowned sulkily at her, performing a rather accurate mimic of the stereotypical brooding teen. "Pfft. Well sorry for worrying about you then." He grumbled a bit and slid down the wall to sit on the floor. "Don't worry too much. Bronnie's part dragon an' nothin' bad happens to her when she changes." It couldn't be that different for Rhi, right? It was just some simple shapeshifting. His momma did it all the time. Sayuri_Nitta 'Yeah well Bronwen is so bloody perfect isnt she,' she stood again. 'Just forget it,' she snapped. 'Forget that I said I was scared. I dont know why I bothered,' she made as to leave. Jiora Cyrus blinked in complete confusion at Rhiannon's outburst. Where the hell had that come from?! He'd only been trying to make her feel better that time! "Well at least Bronnie doesn't get mad at me over stupid things like you do! See if I ever try an' cheer you up again," he grumbled. Sayuri_Nitta 'How is you being a jerk over what's wrong with me suddenly my problem?' she snapped, turning at the door. 'You asked - and I told you. Grow up Cyrus. Because unless you do, even your precious Bronwen wont want to be around you.' and she stormed out, letting go of the door so that it slammed shut.

David Wolfenbrother Rhiannon stalked into the kitchen, fuming about Cyrus. Why the nerve of him! She opened a few doors, and slammed them shut again quickly. She was not just angry. She was hungry. No, she was more then hungry. She was STARVING. When she got to the fridge, she paused a moment, looking at the roast laying there. All of a sudden, a feeling came over her, and she snatched the roast out of the fridge, looking around, as if to make sure no one would steal it from her. Taking her prize over to the table, she got a knife from a drawer, and quickly ripped open the plastic, slicing a chunck from one corner, popping it in her mouth and chewing the raw meat before swallowing, relishing the taste of the bloody flesh. She quickly sliced off another chunk, devouring it as well before stopping a moment to think, a third piece of the roast half way to her mouth. She didn't normally crave raw meat. She shrugged a bit, and popped the meat into her mouth, chewing and swallowing it while thinking. Then she just started eating again. She was to hungry to think straight. She looked out the window, stopping her ravenous eating for a moment as the sight of the almost full moon created a stiring deep in her being. Walking over to the window, she pressed her hands and face to the window, gazing at the moon, before something seemed to snap, and she ran up the stairs to her room, the meat left sitting out on the table, already forgotten.

David Wolfenbrother curseeviloctopi: David wondered through the house, looking for Sayuri. He had found something in the kitchen that had raised his suspicions, but he had to double check with Sayuri. "Love? Are you around?" Silvamord1: She emerged from their bedroom, clothes in hand. 'I'm just putting some laundry away,' she said, going over and hugging him.'Whats up?' curseeviloctopi: "Erm. I think somethings up. Is Rhiannon around?" David fidgited nerveously, hoping against all odds that he was wrong. Silvamord1: 'Rhiannon? No I think she is still upset about that fight. I dont think she has left her room much.' she eyed David. 'What is wrong?' curseeviloctopi: "I found something thats, hmmmm, signs of something. Have you been carving up a roast for dinner?" Silvamord1: She shook her head; 'I havent even thought about starting dinner yet.' curseeviloctopi: "uhoh. This could be bad then. I found a roast sitting out on the counter top. Someone had been slicing out ragged strips of it. I've got a feeling that it was rhiannon." David sighs, running his hand through his hair. Silvamord1: Sayuri held her hand over her mouth, her eyes widening. She moved from the hall into their bedroom and sat down. 'Are you sure she wasnt just feeding the wolves? You know she spoils them.' she said weakly. curseeviloctopi: "I'm fairly certain. She's talked about the moon speaking to her. Looks like she takes after me." He sighed, sitting on the bed, looking down at his hands. "It might be a good idea for you to leave the house for the night. You can never predict how a newly changed werewolf will act." Silvamord1: She looked shocked; 'You are asking me to leave the house at a time when my daughter needs us the most?' she was glad she was still holding the folded clothes - they hid her shaking hands. curseeviloctopi: "Love, no not that, its just," David sighs a little. "I wouldn't want it on either my concious, or rhiannon's if she accidentally hurt you while she underwent her first change. I'm staying here regardless. I can protect myself if need be. But i worry about you love. I don't know if i'm fast enough to protect you." David hangs his head, sighing again. Silvamord1: 'But,' she started to say. She cursed herself for being just a normal woman - if she was like some of her friends she could protect herself. She could see the logic but it went against everything she was to leave her daughter at this time. Silvamord1: 'It's best for me to leave isnt it? But for how many nights?' she asked. curseeviloctopi: David sighs. "I might have one way for you to stay, but it could be complicated, and still could be dangerous." Silvamord1: 'What is it?' she asked. curseeviloctopi: David dropped to his knees, pulling a trunk out from under the bed, running one finger over the lock, which came undone, and flipped it open, showing, carefully stored away, various garments, many of japanese make. David muttered to himself a bit. "Where did I put it? Hmmmm." Silvamord1: She waited, peering inside the trunk curiously. curseeviloctopi: David gently pulled out a long, thin box, opening it to show a kimono folded inside. Dark blue in color, it had a silver geometric pattern on it, superimposed over the full moon. Gently taking it out and laying it out, David spoke. "If my sensi was right, this Kimono is ward against all natural attacks of a werecreature. The problem being, I've never tested it, and I dont' know if the enchantment still holds." David looked over at Sayuri. "its up to you my love." Silvamord1: 'I have to try,' she said. 'I cant just leave.' curseeviloctopi: David smiled a little, kissing Sayuri. "Need help getting into it?" Silvamord1: She stood, removing the clothes she had on; 'You mean getting out of my clothes dont you?' and she chuckled, holding her hand out for the kimono. curseeviloctopi: David chuckled, holding out the kimono for her. Silvamord1: She took it, pulling it on with practised ease, folding it and tying it securely with one of her her own obi's. curseeviloctopi: David held out a fan, which when opened seemed to be made of liquid silver. "To defend yourself if need be" Silvamord1: She took, opening and closing it a few times; 'Thank for this - for understanding how much I want to be there.' curseeviloctopi: David smiled, and kisses Sayuri gently "Its okay love." Silvamord1: She hugged him; 'What happens now?' curseeviloctopi: "Now is the hard part. We wait" Silvamord1: 'For?' she became nervous again. curseeviloctopi: "The moon to rise, and the change to begin." David sits on the bed again, sighing. Silvamord1: She knew the answer really; she just really couldnt believe that this time had finally come. She joined him, holding his hand and sitting in silence.

David Wolfenbrother Rhiannon was pacing in her room, all the lights off, feeling confined almost. Her hands where alternating between clenched fists, and with the finger's hooked like claws, and here eyes where glowing slightly. Wolf and Pup where under the bed, watching her, knowing something was happening, but not exactly sure what it was. Rhiannon looked up at the window, looking at the clouded sky, and almost as if curtains where pulled back, the clouds rolled to either side, the full moon flooding through the window, illuminating Rhiannon. At the same time, it was as if her blood caught fire in her veins. Her heart beat seemed to speed up, and become louder, thudding against the inside of her chest. THUDTHUDTHUDTHUDTHUDTHUD! Louder and Louder it seemed to beat, the moonlight almost intoxicating in the power it brought. She seemed to fill to the brink with it. She threw back her head, her arms spread wide, eyes closed tightly. Then the pain hit. Her fingers and arms seemed to dislocate themselves, as did her jaw and legs. Falling to the square of moonlight cast through the window, she gave a rough scream of pain as she felt her body start to rearrange itself.

David Wolfenbrother curseeviloctopi: David was sitting on the bed, holding Sayuri close when the scream rang out through the house from down the hall. "It seems it has begun." David stood, opening the door, waiting the barest moments for Sayuri, knowing that time would be of the essence. Rushing down the hall, he tried the knob on Rhiannon's room, finding it locked. From behind the door rang out another chilling cry, this one half howl. Silvamord1: Sayuri picked the kimono skirts up, racing barefoot after David; her heart thumping with pain and fear for her child. At the locked door she looked at him; 'Cant you open it?' curseeviloctopi: David nods, his arm shifting as he punches it forward, claws splintering the oak wood around the doorknob as he rips the doorknob out, opening the door to the sight of Rhiannon almost fully changed. Her face is just extending into a wolves muzzle, and there are two humps on her back where her wings are forming, rekniting the mucles and bones of her back. Her claws scramble against the wooden floor, tearing up deep gouges in the floor as she looks up at David, letting out another long cry. "DAAAAAADY! IT HUUUURTS!" As she says this, her wings almost fully form in a heart beat, light grey feathers shivering a little, black wishbone markings similar to those of a hawk appearing. Curled into a ball on the ground, Rhiannon sobs, the change complete. She know has soft brown fur, with a silver marking starting about where her piece of silver hair was, and running over her head and across her right ear. Silvamord1: Sayuri falls to her knees, tears rolling down her face; 'Oh my daughter..oh my baby,' she murmurs, her hands shaking. 'David..is she still Rhiannon?' she asks, her voice full of pain. curseeviloctopi: David nods, kneeling next to rhiannon, running his hand over her head, ruffling her ears a little, which twitched in response as Rhiannon looked up, here eyes still glowing slightly, panting for breath, reaching out one claw to touch her Mother gently. Silvamord1: Sayuri edged closer, extending a hand to touch her daughter; 'Rhiannon,' she said softly curseeviloctopi: Rhiannon trys to talk, but all that comes out is a wolf pup like wimper, as she hasn't adjusted to her new body yet. Her claws scramble a little against the floor as she trys to stand, gripping at Sayuri's arms. Fortunatly, it seems the enchantment on the old kimono is still intact, as the claws simply press against the kimono instead of ripping it. David stands to one side, ready to move if need bee, smiling a little as he watches his child stand again. Silvamord1: Sayuri supported Rhiannon, trying to keep the fear from her face and just gave encouraging smiles. curseeviloctopi: David smiled a little as rhiannon attempted to speak again, managing to squeeze out a "mama" As she started to adjust to the different vocal coards. He started forward, helping Rhiannon to stand all the way, helping her balance on the new feet structer and legs, ignoring the claws pricking his arms. "well, least you'll be used to walking high heal style before you have to wear them?"

David Wolfenbrother David walked through the forest in his wereform, taking in the light of the full moon, ears swivling back to listen to Rhiannon follow him. Looking back over his shoulder, he smiled a little as he watched her walking wobbily on her rear paws, still adjusting to having to balance on such a small area. "Just a little further Rhi. We are almost there." Rhiannon looked up, giving a weak wolf-grin. She hoped it was close. She was already exausted from changing, and now she had to learn to walk all over. But she had a tail! Looking back over her shoulder, she smiled a little. This was all going to take some getting used to. She could smell things, and hear things she had never noticed before. And the moon! She looked up a moment, just bathing in its light as she walked. She could feel it calling out to her, bringing out her wilder side. At the same time, she was sore as hell from the change. Her father had never warned her that it would hurt so much. It had felt like someone had ripped apart her body, and then pieced it back together. She looked down at her form, almost having second thoughts about it all. What if her friends found her hideous, scary? She blinked a few times, lost in thought. David led the way into a small clearing on the mesa above the house. A small shrine sat at one end of the clearing, the rest filled with a garden, a small circular stream wending its way through it. Sitting on a bench, he motioned for his daughter to sit on a nearby seat. "So, it turns out you take after your father, hmmm?" David chuckles weakly. "Yeah, lame way to start, but, well, i'm a little overwealmed at the moment. I had kinda wished that you wouldn't take after my wereside, but you have, so i'm going to have to teach you about it, and everything." David stopped a moment, looking up at the moon, loosing himself momenterily in the song that only werecreatures can hear. Rhiannon gave another weak wolf-grin, waiting for her father to speak again. Her wings rustled behind her a little as she tilted her head, listening to the same sound as her father. It was a song she had been hearing as long as she could remember. One that ran to the core of her being it seemed. Oddly enough, she also had the urge to just lift her muzzle and let out a howl. So she indulged. Throwing back her head, she let out a long, soulful howl, almost chuckling when she heard her father join her. David smiled as Rhiannon howled at the moon, throing back his head to join her. Seemed she took after him indeed. Lowering his head after the howl, he grinned a little. "Well, first leason is when you change. Normally you will change involuntarily near the full moon, at least while you are young. As you get older, you'll be able to fight the change, but even then, sometimes you will fail. There's also a chance you will change when you feel in danger, or threatened, or when you are extreamely stressed out. Thats also the most dangerous time for you to change around others, cause there is a chance that instinct will take over, and you will lash out. And as you can see, you come pre-armed." He reaches over to gently tap one of her claws. Looking down at her paws, Rhiannon thought a moment. She had never thought of the danger she could pose to her friends. She was liking this less and less as time went by. It seemed that being a werewolf was as much a curse as it was a blessing. She remembered something her father had said before. "Ummm. You once mentioned that there were people that would hate me because they would fear me." David sighed a little. He had hoped to put this discussion off for a while, but it seemed that Rhiannon had other ideas. "Unfortunantly, there are groups of people who think that we are cursed, evil creatures. Why, I don't know. Maybe cause they fear whatever is diffrent, or what they can't control. Thankfully they are reletivly few here in Gaia, and can't really do anything overt without breaking the law, though i've known a few fanatics that didn't care about the law. What they can do is b e hateful, and spread rumors. Gaia is infinently better then where i came from, but you still have to be careful. Your best bet would to not let anyone you don't know well know that you are anything but human." Fiddling a little, Rhiannon frowned. Why did she have to be so diffrent from other girls? Why couldn't she just have a normal life? It wasn't fair! She pouted a bit, before cheering up. Well, she would just have to make the best of it. Watching her face flow through despair, rage, and cheer in a quick moment, David sighed again. Poor kid, having to go through this all. Well, he knew one way to cheer her up. "Well, i also have a few gifts for you. First is this." Reaching into his beltpouch, he drew out the necklace, letting it dangle from its chain. "Not silver of course. Silver will burn you if you touch it now." He smiles a little, and reaches behind his back, summoning the second present to himself. "Next is this" He holds out the dagger, in its tooled leather sheath. "This was a gift from my teacher to me when I learned the same lessons that i'll now teach you. So I pass it on to you." Fascinated, Rhiannon reached out, taking the two items, and then hugged David. "Oh! Thank you Daddy!" Hugging her back, David chuckled a little. It seemed it had worked to cheer her up. Now all he had to do was keep her that way, and everything would be good.

Quote: It was the morning now, or, as Rhiannon sat up and blearily looked at the time, it was the afternoon after the first night of the full moon. She stretched, hearing her back clicking a little. She felt so sore! She touched a hand to her hair, which was a tangled mess. She winced as she sat up, padding dressed in one of her new nighties along to the bathroom. Below her she could hear her mother moving around in the kitchen and the smell of cooking. She felt her stomach grumble but first she had to get clean. Once in the shower, she turned the water on as hot as she could, letting the jet blast her skin. She scrubbed shower gel onto herself, rubbing it hard and making her skin red. She burst into tears finally, sinking onto the tiled floor, the water running over her. Her hair hung in wet rat-tails around her face as she sobbed. Finally her shoulders stopped shaking as she cried herself out. She wiped her eyes, getting shakily to her feet and carried on washing her skin more gently. Finally feeling clean if not a little drained, she turned the water off, stepped out and dried herself off. A towel wrapped turban-style around her hair, and a robe on she walked to her bedroom, dressing in comfortable and warm clothes. When she was in the kitchen, Sayuri turned and immediately went over and hugged her daughter. She brushed the hair from her face, looking at her with concern. 'I'm not going to ask you if you are okay - just know that I am here if you want to talk.' Rhiannon slid onto a seat at the table, absently pulling on the necklace her father had given her. She had been pleased with the gifts, but her joy at receiving them had been short-lived. This wasnt like anything else that she knew of. It wasnt an illness to be cured - this was forever, for life. But if it was forever, she would have to find a way to deal with it. She couldnt even talk to Cyrus about it - not after that argument anyway. She was jolted out of her thoughts as her mother put a bowl of soup and some thick slices of bread in front of her. She ate gratefully, pushing away the empty bowl when she was done. 'I'm going to the clinic,' she said. Sayuri nodded. 'Have fun,' she said. Rhi just shrugged, putting on a jacket and heading off.

Quote: Sayuri_Nitta Rhiannon had been approaching the clinic as Kia had entered, following her inside. She blinked at the pregnant woman with the chains on who was talking to someone else she didnt know, and taking a seat continued to stare at the younger woman, who was heavily pregnant. She stared unabashedly as she looked little older then Rhiannon's age - yet she was pregnant! She glanced around briefly, glad that Cyrus wasnt here. Lady_Morgan123 "Nice to meet you as well, Jhiri." Morgan replied, looking over at the two girls who entered, she was surprised to see that one of them was pregnant, but she kept that to herself. "Hello." She greeted both Kia and Rhiannon, she hadn't met them before but it didn't hurt to be polite. Neith-Kia Kia beamed brightly at the other teenager, telling her, "Hi! I'm Kia, who are you?" as she stuffed a cushion under one side to help balance things. She wasn't aware of the feelings she was stiring in the others, Kia was a bit distracted. Cog poked his head out of her bag, watching everyone through the odd fandangle face of his. Then he hovered out and perched on an arm, studying. "It... is a bit early, I know." Kia glanced up to Sajhiri, shrugging helplessly. "But Taka is happy, and I am happy, so... besides, I heard that young bodies can give birth easier. If Dr. Kamiki thinks though, I will get one of those... cer... cutting up stomach births. Are you pregnant too?" Edit: Kia glanced at Morgan, smiled brightly again and told her, "Hello!" Sayuri_Nitta 'I'm Rhiannon,' she replied flatly, still staring. 'Did a boy really do that to you?' she asked bluntly, pointing at Kia's swollen belly. (( she hasnt had her secondary talk yet lol >< )) Sajhiri Sajhiri blinked at Kia a few times, trying to digest the flood of words pouring out of her. "Taka...is the father, I take it? Ah a ceasarian section? Well I hope you don't have to go through that. It is quite early in your life to become a mother, but I hope it will go well for you, dear. And yes, I am expecting as well. Rhiannon's bluntness made Sajhiri blush a bit. She cleared her throat and addressed the girl, "I think that is a question you should ask your mother, miss." Sayuri_Nitta Rhiannon blinked at the woman; 'I already know how babies are made - I just dont get how she can allow a guy to do that to her. They are all jerks,' she scowled, scuffing at the floor with the tip of her boot. Neith-Kia ((Updated info on Kia in the first post. XD She doesn't know half of that yet, but it's kinda useful to know.)) "Hi Rhiannon." Kia replied, not at all taken back by the bluntness. She'd been the same, and it wasn't quite as shocking to her. "Yes, I got pregnant before coming here. And Taka is nice, not a jerk!" She glanced up at what Sajhiri said to the girl, looking a bit embarrassed. Kia didn't give Rhiannon any more information, just shifted a bit as one of the twins wriggled. "Yes, he is. I was going to bring him... but I think he is trying to find money to get us a house." Kia rubbed her hands together a bit, adding, "I hope not, but the pain scares me, I am never good with pain. Congratulations though! You will be a good Momma, I hope you get unchained before it happens." Sayuri_Nitta Rhiannon shrugged; 'Well you are lucky then.' she muttered, still incredibly upset over her fight with Cyrus. Thinking about him made her eyes burn which probably meant they were glowing again. She ducked her head, letting her hair fall in a curtain around her face. Neith-Kia "You will be lucky too." Kia told Rhiannon, believing every word. After all, the teenager wasn't much younger than Kia was, and Kia had found the guy she thought was her soul mate. Kia glanced back at Sajhiri, shrugging helplessly. "I do not see her much, she is pacing around the house, or going to the castle, or returning. I think she is not sure what to do, so she is trying to be everywhere at once. I hope she is resting, but she is probably pacing around the house again." Lady_Morgan123 Morgan blinked and rubbed her eyes for a moment, looking at Rhiannon. She could have sworn she had just seen something strange with the girl's eyes, but the woman couldn't say for sure and now her hair was over her face. "You alright, miss?" She asked Rhiannon, her mothering instinct taking over. Sayuri_Nitta 'I'm fine,' she mumbled, blinking a few times to get rid of the feeling. She swallowed and tried to calm down, brushing her hair back and looking up at the woman that had asked. Lady_Morgan123 "You sure?." She didn't exactly look fine, but then she was a teenager, give it ten minutes and everything would be different. Morgan gave the girl a little smile. "Sorry if I'm being nosy." She apologized to Rhiannon. Neith-Kia Kia's eyes drifted to the Sphinx, and back to Sajhiri. The woman seemed to give Kia a shiver down her back, but she couldn't place it, and she was feeling far too uncomfortable to even bother. "Maybe you could write them all down for her, so to keep track." She grinned, and leaned forward to look at the feien fairy. "Are you from the Sun Court too? Or are you a different fairy?" Kia leaned across to pat Rhiannon's hand, and told her, "Did a boy make you angry?" It made sense to Kia, after all. Strange things with eyes, plus calling males jerks, plus moody, all equaled a problem caused by a male! Or it meant that Rhiannon was at that time of the month, but male problems was easier to ask about. Sayuri_Nitta 'I'm fine,' she repeated. Who was this nosey woman anyway? She was acting like her mother. Then she had a thought - she did look older then Rhiannon and she wasnt her mother; maybe she would be useful. 'What is it like kissing a guy on the lips?' she asked. Lady_Morgan123 Morgan's eyebrows shot up, it had been too long since her daughters were teenagers, she wasn't used to this. "Its not really something you can easily explain. Its not a bad feeling, especially if you really like the boy. But aren't you a little young to be worrying about what it feels like to kiss a boy?" She added, crossing her arms. Ah, kids always in a hurry to grow up as fast as they can. Sayuri_Nitta (( *chuckles* )) Rhiannon glanced over whilst waiting for the woman to answer. 'He was really mean to me - he asked me what was wrong and then made me feel stupid for being upset.' she said, not eloborating on who this he was. 'How can I be too young?' she asked. This Kia girl was pregnant - she was a teenager wasnt she? (( edited )) Lady_Morgan123 Touche, Morgan thought, but she kept that to herself. "Well she made a choice, do you want to have a baby?" Morgan asked, quirking an eyebrow. "Besides, if all boys are jerks why do you want to be kissing them?" Morgan retaliated, again smothering the urge the smile. Neith-Kia "I don't think you are too young for kissing." Kia told Rhiannon. After all, they were close in age, and Kia could remember when she wondered the same thing. "But if you don't know about it all, you make mistakes. And end up fat with babies like me, because you did not know how to stop it." She poked at her stomach, and added as she looked down, "But it is not a bad mistake, ok, Bug and Bunny?" The last thing Kia wanted was for her babies to think they weren't wanted! Even if they were still being carried around. Kia glanced at Averno, and shrugged. "Is a Feien more powerful? I do not see fairies as much now, so I do not know how to tell difference." Sayuri_Nitta Rhiannon smiled gratefully at Kia; 'You are nice,' she said to the girl - she understood. She looked at Morgan; 'She said they werent all jerks - and my Daddy is a guy and he isnt a jerk. Just maybe that guy is a jerk.' she said, her voice sullen again - now she was all confused! Lady_Morgan123 Morgan resisted the urge to point out that maybe the boy was jerk because she liked him. The woman couldn't imagine that that would go over well. "Not all boys are jerks but sometimes they don't know what to say and just end up being mean." Morgan tried to explain. Neith-Kia "So are you." Kia replied truthfully. "Some boys, like Morgan said, are just stupid and do not know how to act around us girls. Maybe he just needs to grow up in his mind." Leaning back again, to unsquash her stomach, Kia watched the feien fairy with interest. So... if she was powerful... and Sajhiri had bad magic on her... "So you could help Miss Sajhiri, if you helped them, because you are powerful." She was quite serious too, in her idea, Kia wasn't teasing the fairy. It did make perfect sense, after all. Sayuri_Nitta She shrugged; 'I dont understand him. He said he liked me but then he keeps calling me stupid. Do you call your friends stupid? Or girly?' Lady_Morgan123 Morgan shook her head. "Boys can say very mean things sometimes. Everyone can call people names if they get angry." Morgan explained, it seemed like Rhiannon and her 'boy' had been in a fight, or so Morgan assumed. Neith-Kia Kia waved goodbye to Sajhiri, and then turned her attention back to the other two. "Well... I think he is a bit stupid then, because being girly isn't bad. We are girls, after all, what else are we supposed to be?! He's just silly for thinking it is insulting." Pausing, Kia added, "And I always called Taka stupid when we had a fight... or before we kissed, because I was scared to say that I liked him." Sayuri_Nitta She nodded; thinking that Kia had brought up a good point. Why was she upset that he had called her 'girly'? She couldnt help but be what she was. He was the stupid one for saying that. 'I dont know if he is saying those things because he likes me. I really dont know.' Neith-Kia "I don't know either... boys always need a 'How to read' book to come with them." Kia shrugged. "But if he does, then he is silly for acting badly. And I bet he is regretting it anyway! So if he likes you.. maybe he'll apologize, or something. He should." Sayuri_Nitta She giggled at that; 'Yeah they do need instructions.' she shrugged; 'I kinda yelled at him alot - I dont know if he will even want to talk to me again.' Neith-Kia "Well, he said things to hurt your feelings... I would be angry too. But saying sorry is never bad, and it gets on their good side even more." Kia groaned, and wriggled over sideways a bit. "I think I'll try and get to see Dr. Kamiki later, I need to rest. I am so tired." She stood up, and patted Rhiannon's shoulder. "You will know what to do. Bye!" Kia waddled out again, the bag with the frying pan and Cog tucked tightly under one arm. Sayuri_Nitta She waved goodbye, feeling glad now that she had gone to the clinic. She felt a sudden odd feeling pass through her and she knew she had to leave. She could feel something coming..

Quote: Sayuri_Nitta Rhiannon peered inside the clinic; which seemed empty for now. She slipped inside, her hair up in a loose bun, two hair sticks securing it. She clasped a small tupperware box, and went and took a seat. She tapped a hand on the lid, nervously twisting around as if expecting someone to enter at any moment. Jiora Several long minutes passed before the door swung open again and Cyrus stepped inside. He seemed rather involved in the magazine he was reading - something about the latest video game releases, or something along those lines. He settled into one of the chairs near the door, mumbling something to himself and swiveling an ear toward the magazine as he dog-eared one of the pages. Sayuri_Nitta Rhiannon jumped in her seat; well there he is - get up! she shouted at her self. She cleared her throat so as not to surprise him and standing, slowly walked over. Jiora One ear twitched in her direction when she cleared her throat, though he didn't look up just yet. He frowned at something on the bottom of the page he was looking at and glanced at something on the next, finally pulling his gaze from the magazine to look at her.
He blinked in surprise - what was she doing here? Maybe she was stalking him... And why would she even want to talk to him right now? He'd been pretty sure she was still furious with him or something.. "What do you want?" Sayuri_Nitta She flinched a little at his words but she wasnt going to walk away. She had gone through her first change, and painful and scary as it was she had gotten through it. Funnily enough this seemed alot worse right now - she took a seat closer to him, resting the box on her lap; 'To talk is all.' she said quietly. Jiora He frowned suspiciously and leaned down to stuff the magazine into a pocket in the leg of his pants. It still poked out a bit...but it didn't seem to be in any danger of falling out for now.. "Okay then..." He eyed the box in her lap for a moment, shrugging and leaning back in his seat again. "What did you want to talk about?" Sayuri_Nitta 'Us,' she replied. 'The other day - the argument.' she took a breath. 'I wanted to apologize for what I said. I was hoping we could start afresh?' she looked at him nervously. Jiora For some reason, the way she said 'Us' sent an odd chill down his spine. Since when had there been an 'Us'? It'd mostly just been them fighting, and how could a pair of fighting kids make an 'Us'? And now she was apologizing? ..well...that really hadn't been expected...but it was about time. "Uh..okay.. Sorry for what I said too." Most of it, anyway. Sayuri_Nitta She let out the breath she had been holding; well at least he hadnt told her to go away or anything like that! She opened the box, pushing it towards him; 'I bought these for you,' she said, a half smile on her face. Inside were several muffins, all different flavours. Jiora He glanced down at the box when she opened it, arching a brow a bit curiously at the muffins - she'd done something like this before..hadn't she? With those cupcakes.. He flicked an ear and grinned lazily at her. "Thanks, Rhi. That was nice of you." Sayuri_Nitta (( Lol >< )) She nodded, a faint blush spreading over her cheeks, and she motioned towards them to cover her awkwardness up; 'Help yourself,' she said, putting the box on the chair between them. Jiora {{ xd I doubt that'd help.}}
He shrugged a bit and picked up one of the muffins, taking a rather large bite out of it and chewing contently. He at least had the manners to swallow before trying to speak though. "How was your first change? You said it was gonna be soon, right?" He turned to face her a bit more rather than continuing to merely watch her from the corner of his eye. Sayuri_Nitta She watched him eat, and thought for a moment on his question; 'It has come and gone,' she gripped the arm of her chair a moment, her knuckles whitening. 'It was painful.' Jiora He took another bite of the muffin and frowned at the wall as she spoke. So hers was painful too..? He briefly wondered if changing was painful for his mother as well. She'd never given any sign that it was though.. "Well, you still made it though. And you don't look like you're in any pain now.." He glanced at her again and smiled a bit. "It looks like you got through it just as good as Bronnie does. And you didn't even get stuck in it like her."
{{~risks mentioning the dreaded B-word in front of Rhi~ :O}} Sayuri_Nitta 'I'm not now, no.' she pulled her knees up towards her chest, hugging her legs and looking at him. 'I feel - I dont know...just very strange - empty.' she didnt say anything about his mentioning Bronwen, just happy to be talking to him without him calling her names. 'It it good?' she asked tentatively, referring to the muffin he was currently eating. Jiora He frowned a bit worriedly at her, not sure what she meant about feeling empty. He didn't think it meant she was hungry...if it was that he'd probably be able to hear her stomach grumbling. "Wha- Oh, the muffin.. Yeah..it's good. Thanks." He finished it off in a rather unmannerly chomp and gazed at the wrapper a moment before turning to look at Rhiannon again. "What do you mean you feel empty?" Sayuri_Nitta 'I made them,' she said, smiling. She hadnt told him before he ate one in case he thought she was trying to make him ill or something. 'Strangely hollow..almost as though things arent quite real.' she said, choosing her words carefully. 'I think I'm just having trouble with knowing that this is going to happen everytime there is a full moon.' she sighed a little. She blinked furiously, nope she would not let a single tear fall in front of him! No matter how she felt. Jiora "You cook pretty good then. Almost as good as my mom," he murmured, not really intending it as any sort of insult. His expression fell for a moment as she continued, though he tried to hide it, licking a few crumbs from his fingers and wiping them clean on his shirt.. Hollow... That was something he could understand...
"I think a lot of people feel hollow sometimes..." He trailed off and frowned to himself. That didn't sound quite right. "I mean.. ..well everyone feels bad sometimes. But at least you know when you're gonna have to feel bad, right? I think that I'd want to know when something bad was gonna happen instead of sitting in the dark and just wondering all the time." Sayuri_Nitta She gave a little laugh; 'Well thanks,' she smiled at him. She shrugged; 'I guess its better to know - and its not like the full moon comes without warning. I have a diary with the days all marked out..' her voice trailed off. Yes days marked - days that she couldnt be around friends, days when she was not quite herself. That was certainly something to look forward to. Jiora He grinned a bit when she seemed to perk up, thinking maybe this time, at least, he'd done something right. His expression became a bit nervous when she trailed off though, and he leaned a bit closer. "You sure you're alright, Rhi? It's okay to not be, y'know." Maybe it really was as bad as she was saying. If she really was feeling hollow... Was that how Bronnie felt when she changed too? Sayuri_Nitta She shook her head mutely - dont cry, dont cry! she told herself; 'I dont want people to hate me for who I am,' she suddenly said, managing to look at him again. He was closer now, and she needed just a hug. She moved, gripping onto him and putting her head on his shoulder. Jiora Cyrus blinked and flicked his tail. "That's..." He trailed off suddenly, apparently thinking better of whatever he had to say when she hugged him so suddenly. He looked down at her with a rather perplexed expression, awkwardly returning the hug after a moment. "Rhi..no one's gonna hate you. I know you don't like when I mention Bronnie, but forget that your jealous of her for a moment. Just..remember, she's a dragon. And there are people who like to kill dragons, but no one here cares that she is one, right? So why would we care that you're part werewolf?" Sayuri_Nitta She shrugged, still holding onto him for a moment; 'I dont know. My father said there would always be people who hated me for who I am. Because of fear.' she let him go with an almost reluctance. 'I'm sorry for grabbing you,' she said, her cheeks red. 'Everything has just been a bit much lately.' Jiora {{'lo, LF.}}
He sighed in leaned back in his chair when she finally let go, making a rather obvious show of looking over her a few times. "Well... You really don't look all that scary, Rhi. Anyone who hates you cuz there scared would have to be an idiot," he said decisively.
He waved a hand dismissively at her apology, a faint smile tugging at the corners of his mouth. "Don't worry about it. If you're gonna be upset, it'll only hurt to keep it in." His smile almost seemed to sadden for a moment. He could still remember the incredible relief he'd felt when Jaclyn told him she knew of K - the way he'd felt he should have told her sooner.. He shook his head a bit and brightened his smile again, pivoting an ear towards Rhi. "So it's okay." Sayuri_Nitta 'Well I am glad I'm not scary now,' she said, poking her tongue out at him. 'Not so sure you can say the same when I change,' she mused. She raised an eyebrow, smiling a little. 'So whenever i feel upset I can just hug you? Thank you Cyrus,' she said sweetly. Jiora He chuckled a bit at the mention of her changing and shrugged a bit. "I doubt you could be worse than my mom when she's angry. That's scary."
He dragged his fingers through his hair and frowned at her a bit when she mentioned more hugging, one ear pinning back reflexively. "Well yeah..I guess.. As long as it's not for some lame reason like a broken nail or something." Sayuri_Nitta She laughed at that, spreading her fingers out and holding her hands up so that he could see the nails. They werent bitten, but they were really short. 'I dont think I will be doing that.' she smiled, moving the box and sitting on the seat next to him properly. She leant over, and swiftly hugged him again, this time also brushing a tiny kiss on his cheek. 'I did that because you have been very nice to me today. And I hope we dont fight again,' she stood. 'I - I have to go now.' Jiora He chuckled a bit when she hugged him again, reaching up to wipe at the spot she'd kissed again. "Yeah..well...you're just lucky I'm so immune to your cooties," he said in a playful, teasing tone. His gaze flicked to the clock on the wall when she mentioned leaving, and he nodded a bit. "Alright.. Seeya later than, Rhi." Sayuri_Nitta 'Silly,' she said lightly. 'I'll see you later - cootie boy,' and she waved and left, giggling a little.

Quote: Dear Diary,
Alot has happened since my first entry in this. So much so that I am surprised my head hasnt gone bang or something. Its difficult to know where to begin. I guess when I saw Cyrus after I had grown would be a good place to start. It didnt go well at all. I mean, it started well. He seemed to like how I looked and we were communicating. But then I got angry over some flippant remark of his; he treated my worries about changing for the first time as though they were nothing, and compared me to Bronwen once again. I cant understand why that bothers me so much - or why Cyrus is so important to me. I guess I just want to be friends with him. Part of the problem was that I was so near to my change - I felt so much rage, and I never usually feel like that. Not even when Cyrus says something that pushes my buttons. Which he can do really well. I read in a magazine that clashing tempers can lead to other things...but well. I dont know. I left the clinic angry. Everything for a while is a blur. The next night I changed. It was..painful, frightening and something I dont want to repeat. But I know I have to. I dont know how my father has done it all these years. And I dont know how I will cope either. But I know I have to. There is no cure. Besides it isnt as though I have a terminal illness. Apart from this one thing I am healthy. So I should be thankful or something I guess. I went back to the clinic a day or so after the full moon had gone. I met Kia, who is a Fa'e like Sati. But this Kia is only a little older then me and she was pregnant! Apparently she has a boyfriend. I couldnt get over the fact that she had found a boy that was nice enough for her to let him put the baby in her. She was nice to me, and she said that Cyrus was probably being horrible to me because he liked me! I'm not sure whether I believed her about that or not. Does it make sense for someone to be mean when they actually like you? It kind of makes my head spin. Trouble is I cant avoid Cyrus, and I didnt want to. I decided to do what I had done - well I say 'I' had done, it was Mum's idea the first time - when we had fallen out as children. Mum helped me make some muffins for Cyrus, but when I saw him I didnt tell him straight away that I had made them. I waited till he was eating one. I didnt want him not to eat them just because he might think that I had done something to them. We kind of came to a truce. We even hugged. It was nice. I didnt hate it. In fact it made me feel warm and safe. But I wasnt about to tell him that! I think we might get along okay from now on. Well I hope so.

David Wolfenbrother Rhiannon grumbled a bit as she followed her father to the meadow on the cliff above their house. She had shifted again, and it had hurt, though not quite as bad. Why did she have to be like this? What had she ever done to deserve this? David chuckled weakly. It was obvious that Rhiannon was sulking about changing again, almost as if hoping that it wouldn't happen. Ah well, she would adjust. She was still young, and not in a situation like he had been in, thank the gods. Well, here they where. This would be a good place to teach her the first steps of controlling her shapechanging. "Well Rhiannon, i think its time i taught you how to partially control how and when you change. You can't always deny it, especially at your age, but you can sometimes delay it, or fight it if you are in a bad situation, or bring it on quicker, or away from the full moon if you are in danger." Sitting down, legs crossed, he looked at his daughter in her wereform. Very slenderly built, she stood only inches over her normal height. "Its also possible, with practice, to shapeshift only part of your body. Like ears and a tail to blend in with others with ears and tails, hmmm?" Holding out his right arm, David squinted a little, and a shimmer came over his arm as it changed, growing longer, the muscles become more pronounced, fur and claws sprouting. "It takes a bit of practice to hold it without concentrating on it all the time, but that is a lesson for another day. For now, I want you to sit down, and listen to my voice. Concentrate on forcing all thoughts away, and feel deep inside yourself. Feel the core of your being, like a silvery ball of light. Do you feel it?" Rhiannon sat down as her father asked, a little nervious. What was he having her try. Closing her eyes, her ears flicked a little as she concentrated on his voice, trying to follow his instructions, almost certain she would find nothing. To her suprise, there was something there, though she couldn't really get a hold on it. "I, I feel something. Something strange. But I can't feel it completely, can't get a hold on it" "That is the core of who you are. Your power. Everyone has it in them. Try harder to grip it, and then concentrate on what you look like in your human form. Will yourself to look like that again, while gripping tightly to that power. It may not work at first, or may start, and then revert. Don't worry, when you control the change, it doesn't hurt." He sat, watching his daughter, remembering his own lessons, and how hard it had been. Rhiannon bit down her trepidation and fear, and mentally clung to that feeling she felt, and pictured what she normally looked like, hoping against hope that maybe she would achieve full control, unlike her father said. Then she could always look like she normally did, and wouldn't have to worry. She squirmed a bit as she felt a small itching, and could feel her body changing again. Watching as his daughter skin started to shimmer, he watched as she changed, the fur slowly disappearing, replaced by a pair of jeans and a blouse. Her face slowly lost the wolfen look, changing back to normal. Eventually she sat there as normal, though the ears remained. David gave a little chuckle. "Open your eyes Rhiannon, and look in the mirror." Doing as her father asked, she gasped, and then lost control, swiftly changing back into here wereform. Crying a little in aggrivation, she brought her knees up to her chest, hugging them. "Why can't i always look normal? Why do I always have to change?" David sighed, hugging Rhiannon, holding her. "I'm sorry sweetie. It isn't as bad as that. Its just hard to control yourself when your as young as you are. Eventually you will be in full control of your shape. Until then, please, just be happy, for Daddy?" He stayed quiet after that, just holding her, lessons forgotten for the moment.

Quote: Dear Diary,
Full moon comes, I change and the full moon goes again. I still dont know why I am supposed to go through this. It still hurts - yeah so it doesnt hurt as much. So what, right? I realised something - Dad went through all this. He changed, and he learned all this stuff he is trying to teach me. That I can control it. Make myself change back at will. But I dont want to learn tricks. I dont want to change at all! I dont want to be different. I dont think he gets that. Or if does know, he's just ignoring it. I realised something else as well. Dad is so lucky he has Mum. I've read the stories - I've seen the movies that have been made. Werewolves are feared, hated. They arent true - but people believe in the media dont they? So if people believe that; I dont want to be alone. Mum and Dad love each other (as gross as I may find that sometimes). I want that. But can I have it?
