Wow, I've been so busy I haven't really even gotten on the computer at all lately. x___x;
Did you guys every decide on a map? XD
Plot stoof=crazyconfusing
I'm gonna make Mercy by some sorta sprinklers on timers for his pumpkins xP

and whenever you plan on having the halloween event

As you might have notice, I've been very busy too. I log in to submit a few more groups for voting but I can only make one post every ten minutes, so it's a bit hard. I finally posted the first round. I'm starting the second round on Monday.
We don't have a map yet, but you can take a look at the one I posted to get an idea of the layout. If you want to go to the peak you go past the lakes, and up the mountains. I'll try to sketch it in a more detailed way once I find some free time.
For the Halloween event. It's still summer so we have some time to think about it (Fall 30). If any of you wants to be in charge of the planning let me know. I'll give you crew position (if you don't have it already) and you'll be able to edit any of the descriptions (or create new topics) with halloween decorations. And the best of all, you can make it in ANY way you want! blaugh

I'll help out too if you want for the Halloween `bash, if you want. :]
I'll be in midterm by then and shouldn't have too much work to do.
What about the other festivals though? Are they coming into play at all?
All you've listed (so far?) is the harvest festival.
What's going to happen on that one, and are there any of the other regular 'Fall HM' festivals coming into play? (eg; sheep, music and moon viewing festivals)

I do think you should try and squeeze as much HM festivals as you can into the calender, that was one of the main things of the games.

IndentYes, I am planning on adding all the festivals that you could find in the HM Games. I only listed a couple events for the Fall because I don't have as much time as I'd like to plan them. It will be easier if we get some kind of Festival Comitee (sp?) to plan them. Then we can have all the original events and more!
If I recall correctly, in the Harvest Festival it would be a dance. A boy would be elected the Harvest King and he would dance with the Spring Goddess (girl elected in Spring). Everybody would dance though.
Also, you'd have the giant pot where each person would put one or two ingredients of their choice to add to the food. We could add anything we can think of, though.
For the halloween, a bash would be cool. Maybe a "costume contest" too. For the contest, we could make it 'written-only' or 'tektek-only'. Tektek would be easier but you have way more choices if it's written. Since you both want to plan the festivals (or at least hekp with), I'll promote you to crew members heart

I like the ideas. Is there going to be a specific sub forum for festivals and events, or would they just be held in say The Lake topic or Loopholes sub forum?
I guess Harvest Festival wise, we can't really have a King and Goddess dance, this year around. So it'll just be dancing and the like, right?

I think they should be held in the loopholes subforum, that way if time seems to go over we wouldnt have to rush.Plus it would keep it from being confusing.
Yeah the harvest festival cant really be a harvest king and goddess dance with no king or goddess. x.x.Ill start looking up a few more upcoming festivals and post'em up.

Yes, I guess we are having a subforum for the event. It would work just like the Loopholes one, but it will be 100% festival. That way people can create their own 'private' scenes if they feel like it and still being in the festival. All the general sections would be 'decorated' accordingly, though. That means the festival would be all around the guild!
Yes, this year we'll just have a dance and the cooking thing. Next year we can choose the Spring Goddess and a Harvest King. We have to set up a date for that one. I was thinking... a week before the Fall is over, so maybe arpund the 22+.
Also, we can plan everything in the OOC subforum, I made a topic especially for the 'planning'. In that topic all we're going to do is choose a festival, get a general idea and a date. Then we create another topic to have all the specific things we need for the festival (places, events, rules, decoration, etc)
