It's definitely not Kairi's fault that she came to the island! Sora and Riku accepted her, and that's not her fault at all. Are you saying, that if Sora had invited you to a place where he and his other best friend had shared before, you'd just say,
"Oh, no thank you~ ^^".
I wouldn't. I would be honored that someone would like me enough to invite me to such a place, especially after just being a foreigner from some other strange land. And, like you said in your other post, not much is known about what happened between Sora, Riku and Kairi when they were kids.

I don't think Kairi is a 'b***h' or a 'ho' for any reason. She's kind, strong-willed, sweet, and definitely cares about all of her friends. You know, in KH2 it seemed to me that she wanted to re-unite Sora and Riku. In fact, she wanted all of them to be together. She was fed up with being alone, and I don't blame her for that. You keep saying how bad it is for Riku to be ignored... well Kairi would definitely start to feel the same way. After just being left on the islands like that for so long. I would!
I don't think Kairi is worming her 'slimy little fingers' into anything. Sora cares about her, Riku cares about her, and she cares about them. Of course she's going to be sweet and affectionate to them. Would you rather her stand there and do nothing, and-- wait don't answer that. X_X

Anyways, if you believe the RikuXSora realationship is strong, you would see that even with Kairi there, Sora and Riku appear to have something more than SoraXKairi or even RikuXKairi. That's what I think, anyways. In my eyes, I don't see Kairi as getting in the way. Sora and Riku appear to be getting closer and closer even with her there, which proves SOMETHING.

I just think.. that hating Kairi because she 'gets in the way of RikuxSora omgz' is such a.... invalid reason for hating her.

Now, wanting to ditch Riku in KH1 IS a very good reason to dislike her. Even I thought that was mean.

people can take any game and make it perverted.. Think of KH2 ending when Goofy jumps on Sora. Many people make that into a clip and make it appear that Goofy is humping Sora, so anything can be perverted. And people are always going to look for that type of stuff, I mean people know that Disney has a perverted streak

A 'stealer'? I can see how you would get that. It seemed to me that she didn't really seem to care about Riku at all. X_X; At least, that's what I saw. Even when she heard Riku say, "I won't let you use me for this" and try protecting her, she didn't seem to really acknowledge what he was doing. In KH2 she shows that she cares a lot more, so maybe she was just being naive then? Or maybe she just wasn't thinking, who knows. I definitely liked her more in KH2. In KH1 it's like, I had no problem with her, but in KH2 I developed a real like-ness for her. She no longer seemed self-centered. It's not her fault, as a character that she is the subject of excuses. She's only subject to what you, the fans, make her a subject of! xD

1. Yuffie didn't say that.
2. Sora wouldn't hump anything unless you make him (YOU control him).
3. You can't see up Kairi's skirt unless you look there, perv.

Okay, so I'm not going to say that this is supposed to be rated anything or even give my personal opinion. I am going to state facts.

1) Disney would not allow any kind of gay relationship to be in the game. Period, end of story. HOWEVER, in Axel and Roxas' case, they have made MASSIVE hints on a possible relationship beyond a friendship type love:
Examples:
Axel saying he felt like he had a heart when Roxas was around, Axel saying he'd miss him, Roxas and Axel sharing things on the tower, ect.
I could be interpreting things wrong-but all I'm stating is what I believe, so please try not too get too offended.

2) Kairi isn't a slut. ALL girls are dressed skimpily in video games and just outside of the real world in general-you need to understand that this is just the creator's way of following the Ff trend-you don't see people calling Tifa or Yuffie a 'slut' or 'ho' do you? No. Look, I haven't ever looked up her skirt before (it's probably just a glitch) and I won't say you're wrong-but I'm thinking it's mostly a glitch... Plus, I think they wanted to be sure in case it happened-that's why they did that with Selphie too-because there was a glitch.

3)Humping= you're perverted mind playing tricks on you/the internet. (not saying that I'm not one, but still..seriously guys-can you get any more immature?.......this is coming from the girl who still plays Kh for fun and loves to wear Mickey stuff....whatever.)

4) Riku and Sora hint at having a relationship, but so do Sora and Kairi-I won't say my preference but it's DISNEY. Let me repeat what I said up at my first point:
DISNEY WILL NEVER ALLOW ANY GAY RELATIONSHIPS TO BE SHOWN.
Period, end of story.

I COMPLETELY agree with you and the whole Kairi not being evil and hating on Riku (aka attempting to split Riku and Sora up) thing. You're right; her first friends were Sora AND Riku, why would she wish ill upon any of them? Now, one may argue her suggestion to travel on the raft without Riku makes clear that she wants Riku out of the picture. After Sora sounds astonished however, she giggles and says, "Just kidding". Obviously that's a horrible cover up for suggesting something so detrimental to the trio's relationship but, like it's been mentioned on this topic, I think that moment was meant to reference Kairi, to be able to compare her later character (as in, Kairi in KHII) to the way she used to be back in Destiny Island. By KHII I think Kairi is far from those little suggestions or games. It's one of those random things the creators put into the game to subtly ******** with your head.

Back to the point: I do not think Kairi is evil. Everyone seems to forget that Kairi is one of the Princesses of Heart. That just wouldn't make any sense. I would like to say that Kairi has no reason to boot Riku out of their friendship since she and Sora are an item, but I do think that on some level, Sora may have had more of a connection with Riku than even he thought. That's right, on some days, in certain moods, I like to think that Sora does love Riku... that way. In other instances, I think they are just horribly faithful, loyal, and loving friends. Maybe Tetsuya wanted to contrast the (unromantic) love and friendship between two boys with a possible romantic one of a boy and a girl? To show that a deep-seatd, long running friendship is stronger than a romantic infatuation, love, or maybe even an obligation? Who knows. But, like any other artistic pieces, stories, poems, or literary works (I do realize this is a video game and not Shakespeare, but bear with me) a person should consider and understand all perspectives before reaching a conclusion. Most people just stop at the possibility which is the easiest to adopt or understand. Sora? Possibly gay? No, I'm homophobic therefore that can't be right. That's just a generic example with KH but people don't realize that there is even the slightest possibility that the creators meant for that subtly to be evident at some point in the audiences' minds.

In conclusion. Saying: "I am completely sure Sora is straight, Riku is evil, Kairi is in love, Nobodies are evil," et cetera, is the closed minded way of looking at KH, or anything else for that matter. You definately won't get out of the game what you potentially would if you allowed yourself the possibilities the game offers.

And to the creator of this thread; if you searched all the other possibilities connected to the game (if you basically disregard all the things you mentioned were wrong) and attempted to understand the game from a different perspective, you may come to realize that your first impression may be a little far-fetched and (well) ridiculous.
