Xeen Soldevi Eulalia Danae Xeen Soldevi Eulalia Danae Xeen Soldevi Eulalia Danae Mckinnley saw the spikes coming and sped away from them, shooting out a blast of energy as he backed off. (4 2 3 40) The energy burst prompted the final abombination to explode, and move no more. The Dreadnought, having sated it's curiosity in watching, charged down at McKinnly, it's rows of sharpened blades forming it's teeth beggining to rotate counterpoint of each other. ((Think of six or seven salad shooters, or mabed a super-blender.)) Mckinnley glanced at the dreadnought as it approached, and grinned slightly. "Might have to continue this later, Soltari" He sent a blast of energy towards Xeen, and then took off with his speed, barely dodging the Dreadnought. (3 1 3 40) Xeen blinked out, coming out of his blink directly infront of McKinnly, lashing out with his sword. ((MP 0 SP 2 LP 50)) Mckinnley sent a fist of power directly in Xeen's direction, a twisted grin on his face as the sword bit into his leg. ((2 1 3 30)) Xeen winced as the fist hit him in the chest, pulled the sword back, and this time swung it into McKinnly's chest. (( SP 2 LP 40)) Mckinnley ducked low to avoid the sword, and then brought his fist upward in another powered punch. ((1 1 3 25)

Xeen broke off from the punch, the blade flaring brightly, sending the captive energy back at McKinnly. ((TC: Asorb- 4 TC: Redirect- 1))

As McKinnly fled, the Dreadnought moved it's considerable bulk along the entire wall that the exit was located on.

Which would have worked, if Mckinnly hadn't been using superspeed. And Xeen fleetingly wondered why he was given a chance to respond if it was just going to get shot down anyways. And ED waited for Xeen to consider that the dreadnought may not have been able to stop Mckinnley from going through the exit, but he was big enough to break open that exit and continue on in a pursuit.

Xeen growled in displeasure, racing to the Dreadnought, and clinging to a blade
"Ora! Use your powers to slow him!"
As he spoke, the Dreadnought began tear-assing forward, Xeen snatching up Ora as they went.

And what he saw was a man who looked rather beaten down, blindly searching around, as a snake-like metal creature tore after him.
