Rivven had no idea what to do. He didn't know how to dance, and wasn't really sure if it would be right for him to dance with anyone but Morgan, though, she was dancing with another man. He tried to give privacy to that, it was none of his affair, but he couldn't help watching just a little from time to time. He at once felt a sinking dissappointment in his stomach at how close they were, and a little bit of a cheerful hope at how they were not so much so as many of the others. Stop this. It's foolish. You're getting jealous and you know it. You're doubting her too. You can trust her, at least. Hopefully you could trust most of these people, but... He considered trying to talk to her, but he shouldn't interrupt, and this would be outright awkward, for him if not her. He couldn't leave either, even though he started to wonder how much she did want him there. Stop it! You're doing it again! He looked back to the ground and wiped a hand through his white hair, letting it fall messily back into place, and looking around at the other people before back down. He needed new clothes. These were all he had, and the weren't very formal; all they were was practical, and a bit odd in appearance.

Rivven's head shot around to the voice behind him, eyes falling on Mordrid. "Hello Mordrid." he spoke, considering the words for just a moment, looking back to Morgan and the man she was dancing with. Slowly, he turned his head back to Mordrid again. "Sure, I see no reason why not." he said, taking a last glance back before heading toward the door with the boy.

Rivven returned to the party, walking more quickly as he went, looking for Morgan again, and this time coming as close by as he could without getting in the way of the dance, to wait for her to finish quietly, his hands tucked in his pockets. He smiled, a little bit forced after that, though he was feeling better already, taking reassurance in her sight. Does Mordrid know...? No, he simply read to much into what I was saying. Of course, I don't see why he's so flustered unless he either has way too much pride, or really does care for that woman.

Quintilius walked up behind Morgan, studing the look on Rivven's face, "Ahh Rivven, I have heard much about you." He offered his hand to the man, smiling all the while.

"Of course, you know I can't stop talking about you, even when you're away." she hugged him back and laughed when she saw the book was between them."It's ok. It looks like the party is winding down, so dancing is out of the question."

Rivven nodded in farewell to the man, putting his other arm back around Morgan again. "And a good evening to you Mister Quintilius." he said turning back to Morgan. "Lessons? Ah, your school. Well, I guess talking about me can't be a bad thing. And... if you want to dance, here might not be good, but I think I know someplace we could go if you still want. I'm afraid you'll have to teach me how to though..." he said, blushing again, and pulled her in a little closer to kiss her a bit less lightly on the lips, before taking his arms away to stop squeezing on the book.

"Yes, I guess we have. But then, I needed some time to sleep after being up all night. Sorry about that though. I think I'm finally about done healing, and my chakra is starting to come back rapidly, so I guess I'll be better soon." he said, realizing it had only been about two days after the bullet holes and the cut coming open, but they were nearly nothing but little white scars, soon to disappear, now. It did feel like finally though, even though his healing was even faster than he was used to. "I guess it was, though I'm afraid I missed much of it. What is it you'd like to talk about? And where would you like to go?" he didn't bring up what Mordrid had said; if she wanted to let him know about that, assuming it wasn't just Mordrid trying to seperate them, then she would. It wasn't right for him to press.
