"Hmm, Ok then....." Mara said, then she busied herself staring at banjos.

Janei giggled and typed a few things into the computer, bouncing in her spot for a few moments, before waving at Mara and pointing at a plain guitar on the wall. "Grab that one and follow me, okay?" And with that, she went up the stairs, whistling.

Mara grabbed the guitar. "Hmm, strat." She followed Janei up the stairs. "Can you add extra-"pound people on the head"-ness? I've always needed something to smash things with...."

Janei giggled. "I'm sure I can figure something out for it." She disappeared into her room and came back out with some vials and chalk. She moved all the furniture around and started to draw out patterns on the floor, humming cheerfully. "Just give me a few minutes."

Mara looked around the room and noticed some texts. "Heh." she said. "Looks like you've got some outdated editions here. I swear I've seen some newer versions during one of my expeditions around my shop, but I'm not quite sure where they are." She thumbed through one.
"Daaaaaaaaaaaaamn, this is really outdated. Like 9th century outdated. you sure this is safe?"

"Oh, those are all just for fun." Janei giggled as she continued to draw lines. "The people in this world had a few misguided thoughts in some of those. Some are pretty close though. All the real info is here." she tapped the side of her head, then went back to drawing. She tossed the chalk aside after a moment, and looked into the vials before setting them down. She sat down, crossed her legs, and held out her hands. "Here were are, good to go! Hand me the guitar?"

Janei held the guitar out before her. She began humming a low, single note, and seemed to flicker in and out of phase with the world for a few moments. The guitar glowed, as did the vials, until they all came together in a swirl. she stopped humming when the guitar stopped glowing. She stood, using her foot to smudged the chalk lines before looking over the guitar and holding it out.
It seemed about right.
"Here we are! How's this?"

Mara walked up unsteadily to the guitar. Before she touched it, she pulled out a strange set of goggles out of her bag. These looked ancient, made out of brass and leather and with various multicolored glowing crystalline lenses that can be flicked in and out of the front of the main lenses. She put them on and flicked a few lenses back and forth.
"Hmm, the molecular stabilization looks ok, the flux field seems stable and the runes look like they're in the right positions. The aura may take some time to settle since it's just been transmuted....but overall, it seems to be a fairly exact replica." She pulled the goggles away from her eyes and took the guitar from Janei. She held it out above her head in a very dramatic fashion.
"I'll take it! How much? Oh and I need an amp and a pick...do you happen to have the Pick of Destiny?"

Pretty Lolipop "Oh. Well then, take one!" Rayel grinned. "I insist! It's too much of a talent to waste." He gestured at the other guitars of various colors and styles hanging along the wall. "A nice-to-make-your-aquaintince present, we'll call it. And besides, you brought Lillian a friend and gave me a muffin." He winked. Lacuna frowned, pushing the guitar towards Rayel. "Oh, no, no-no. I couldn't possibly do that. This is a very nice guitar, I'd feel awful", she said. "I just can't accept a gift like this", she said firmly. Lacuna smiled weakly to Rayel, "Its very nice of you to offer though", she added.

"Most of the stuff didn't cost anything to bring in, so I guess it;s just the cost of the guitar I based it off of...And that's downstairs." Janei giggled messed up more of the chalk. "I'll clean this up later. Let's go see what it says on the wall! Rayel's got a really good provider, so it probably isn't that much." she giggled again and skipped back downstairs, hopping down multiple steps.
Rayel pouted, then brighted. "Then how about this! You can come and practice anytime you want! And I'll make you some...some scones! With blueberries! Or cranberries. Or anything like that!" He grinned.

Janei hummed along to the music playing all over the store as she typed a few things into the computer, bouncing along to the music before it beeped. She moved over to the register and a number appeared. "Here we are! Cash or credit or debit?"

Lacuna's face brightened at the mention of food. "You cook and bake?", she asked curiously. Lacuna thought a moment on the idea most men she had ever known normally hated to cook.
