Orrin looked over at the sleep Clayr then shook his head a little. "I'll be alright alone. I mean, if I scream, I probably just saw a spider or something." He laughed and blushed a little after saying such a thing. "Plus, I wouldn't want Clayr to left on her own while he explore." Orrin took the rope and found something to tie one end to before peeking out into the hallway and picking a direction to go.

Crow forwned softly, not liking the idea of his new friend going off by himself, but relazing back in his chair.

"All right, if you're sure. If you're not back in an hour or so, I'll come looking for you, all right?"

Orrin smiled. "Kay then." He slipped down the hallway, taking a good look around. When he came to other doors, he stopped and tested them. One actually opened to the wall and others opened to the same room despite them being on opposite sides. Orrin took a moment to clean his glasses, just in case, then continued on, sometimes stopping to take the time to look around the rooms more closely.

Clayr stirred and her eyes fluttered open, gently. She yawned, staring out the window at the rain. It might have been days since she was last awake, but it looked exactly the same outside. That's how this house seemed, anyway. Time passed so oddly, like it didn't go at all.

She sat in and gazed around, looking for Orrin. When she didn't spot him, she caught sight of
Crow, who had been reading, but was now gazing at her, smiling warmly.

"He went out to explore. He's been gone quite a while. You might go look for him, now, little sister. He might have gotten stuck."

She grinned, wiggling a little before hopping up from the window seat. She straightened her dress out, then scooted over to give Crow a eck on the cheek before slipping out the door to find Orrin.

Opening doors and moving from room to room didn't help Orrin find his way back. The rope hadn't helped either since he had been stupid and dropped it when running into a big spider and running away. Now he was trying to get out of a bathroom but the door lead to either a closet or bedroom. "Ugh. This place is so...confusing." He sighed to himself and rubbed his face before glancing in the mirror. But he stopped, thinking he was seeing something that stood behind him. But when looking back, nothing was there. He swallowed hard. "This place got creepy again..."

Clayr could hear Orrin's boots knocking around somewhere in the rooms ahead of her. Without bothering with the doors, she slid through the walls, passing through gracefully, until she could hear him just across the wall from her.

She stepped through and found him with her back to him. Not knowing any way of approaching him that wouldn't scare the daylights out of him, she frowned softly, shifting from foot to foot and waiting.

With a sigh, Orrin decided that living in a bathroom for the rest of his life wasn't going to cut it. He would have to try the door again. But as soon as he turned around, his eyes caught Clayr and, without thinking logically like her never seemed too, Orrin let out a girly-sounding squeal and bumped up against the wall. When his brain kicked him for being an a**, Orrin cleared his throat and smiled nervously. "S-sorry about that, Clayr. I didn't realize you're be there. Was your nap alright?"

Clayr made the motion of giggling, and looked a bit eerie doing it when no sound came out. She nodded, gently, beaming. She stepped closer, looking around the room. It was one she'd not seen yet. When he eyes landed back on Orrin, she had a peevish, playful look in them, an eyebrow arched eloquently. The message was fairly clear; 'Lost, are we?'

Orrin watched her, head tilting when she looked back at him. He recognized the expression. "Did Crow say I was lost? I'm not lost! That's silly." He gave her a big smile and walked to the door and opened it. It was the closet again. "Er...see? Not lost...just...stuck."

She made the odd, silent giggling motion again. She raised her hands and made the cliched motion to calm down, taking a deep breath and brushing the palms of her hands down over the front of her body, eyes closed. She smiled again, tapping her temple and then opening her hands like a book.

'Relax and open your mind up.'

She then pointed to the door knob, nodding.

'Then try again.'

Orrin watched her motions, taking a moment to understand them. He was learning, at least. "Okay, I'll try to." He looked back to the door and tried to relax. He took a deep breath then let it out, his hand reaching out to open the door. When he did, a hallway met him. "Hey! It worked!"

Clayr clapped, beaming proudly. She hopped forward and fell on Orrin from behind, wrapping her arms around his shoulders and hugging him, tightly. She perked up again and tapped his temple gently, remindingly.

'It's all up here.'

Orrin's cheeks turned bright red when Clayr hugged him from behind. He was used to hugs from children but Clayr was no child. "I-I'll remember that for next time," he said to her after his head was tapped. "Shall we go find Crow again? I wouldn't want him to think I got you lost too."

Clayr grinned, [eevishly, at his blush, squeezing him tighter just to rile him before she slid down off his back. She nodded, and took his hand, looking around the hallway. It was lined with doors on wither side, curving into hallways at either end. After a moment, she pointed right, took a few steps in that direction, and waited for him to follow.

Feeling Clayr slide down his back did nothing for his blush. It was more intimate than anything else he'd done before. But Orrin didn't say anything of it, instead just straightening his glasses. It was one of his nervous habits. He then followed her out into the hallway, feeling better now that he was with someone who new where they were going.
