"Baolin! Go first." Dav said as the politician ran after his friend.
Just as Dav turned to go up the hole, a gruff voice yelled out: "HOLD IT!"
Dav turned and saw a large...no, HUGE man standing in the doorway. Almost 7 feet tall and built like he was carved out of stone, the man was an imposing figure indeed. He wore a brown battered cloak so few of his features could be seen.
Acting quickly, Dav concentrated on the Steam that had condensed at the basin of the fountain. Drawing on it, he made a pushing motion with his hands and used the water to whip him with it. As he did, the man did not flinch or move, the attack seeming to have no effect.
"Oh hell..." Dav said as the man went into a Horse stance and thrust his ham-sized fist at Dav.
Dav took the blow and was flung into the statues with such force that they shook. Acting on pure instinct, Dav, stuck in th holy fountain, tried to water whip again. This time, however, a torrent of water smashed into the large man, pushng him out the doorway.
Wasting no time, Dav ran to the hole tsukaza made and went up it.

Tsuzuki kept digging. They had already gone up a good two hundred feet or so and she didn't intend to stop there. Eventually, after the fear of being caught by the earth bender wore off, she stopped and made a small hole where they could sit for a moment. She was out of breath and sweating from all of the work that she had just did in such a short amount of time and lay down, panting as she gasped, "We- must- *gasp* be about a thousand feet up. It's- not- really all that far, actually."
She pressed her hands to her eyes and sat there for a moment, thinking about what had just happened helplessly. She then sat up and said, "We're about half way up. We could either go back and hope that that earth bender hasn't brought a whole team of benders back with him to catch us or we could go up, not knowing where we're going exactly. I don't care as long as I get a moment to rest here."

Dav crawled into the hole and sat down. Looking at the exhausted firebender, he opened his satchel and offered it to her.
"Drink...You'll feel better." Dav said as he handed the satchel to the exhausted girl.
"I would relax...he's not with the army...not from what I could tell." Dav said, massaging his chest where the man had hit him. "He's probably gone by now, it didnt seem like he was expecting us to be there."

Tsuzuki took a large sip, ignoring her coutasies of only taking a small portion of what she was offered for one moment. After a minute of lying there and listening to what Dav was saying, she felt oddly better. Not that she wasn't expecting to feel better but water had never really had that much of an effect on her both for good or for worse.
She got up shortly thereafter and explained, "But you forget that he's an earth bender. If we go down, he has a greater chance of catching us because, if you didn't notice, we're completely surrounded by earth. Then, he'll take us to the king's court and have us arrested for trespassing."
She sighed and said, "I think that we should continue upwards. There's a good chance that we'll be safe and, if we're not, I'm sure we can think of something."

"Allright then" Dav said as he took his satchel. "You've done your part, I'll take it from here."
Dav turned his satchel upside down, emptying it. before the water could completely fall however, dav made a sweeping motion with his left hand, creating an orb of water. Dav moved his hands faster and faster yet, allowing his orb to pick up speed and flatten out. Soon, he had a disc of water.
"You might want to cover your head, this may get messy." Dav warned as he pushed the disc upward, letting it cut through the soil and rock.
As dav kept pushing, he felt the strain of his motions on his muscles. Cutting though a little earth was one thing, making a path out of it with water was a taxing feat indeed.
As the soil became looser and less rocky, Dav stopped hiswater disc and collapsed back on the earthen tunnel.
"We...we should be just below the armory...or the treasury...or the throne room. Hell I'm not sure." Dav said, trying to catch his breath. "Can you blast this last bit Tsukaza? The floor should be right above us."

Tsuzuki nodded, having been rested enough that she could make it through this last bit and, if they needed it, a fight up above. She created one last orb and blew through the ground above her, tile flying every which way into the sky. As she peaked her head above the ground cautiously, her heart fell into her stomach as she realized where they were. "Um, guys?" she said as earth bender guards encircled the hole, "We're kinda in the throne room right now."
She leaped out, assuming an agressive tiger eagle stance and narrowed her eyes, waiting for Dav and Baolin to come out of the hole as well. If asked, she wouldn't admit it but she had no idea what she was doing.

As Dav clawed his way up through the hole, un-noticed, he saw the guards beginning to surround the young firebender.
"s**t...Those are elite guards...I need to help her" Dav thought, looking around the room desperately for anything.
Dav saw a wax-sealed barrel by a door to the far corner of the room.
"Oil! They must have been moving it from the Armory." Dav whispered to himself. Acting quickly, Dav made a pulling motion with his whole body, mimicing the ebb and flow of the waters.
As he used his waterbending to raise the liquid pitch about 40 feet above the firebender's head and held it there, praying that his plan wouldnt kill them all, before screaming.
"Tsu! Light it!"

Tsuzuki didn't think, she just lit the oil as quickly as she could and, as a fire engulfed the air around her, she pulled it around herself in a circle, therefore shielding herself. As the fire left the air around her, she ran towards Dav. . . just before a pair of hands made of rocks came from behind her and pressed one of her feet to the ground and, as she fell, one of her hands to the ground. Another pair of rock hands flew at Dav. Tsuzuki watched, not knowing what would happen to him and not knowing what was happening to Baolin. . .

As the flash from the explosion cleared, Dav saw a rock hand coming toward him. However, Dav simply waited. Just as the hand was about at his neck, dav spun away.
"Takes more than that to catch a waterbender" Dav thought. however, his momentary mirth dissapeared as he saw Tsukaza pinned by the earthen hands.
Dav looked around. "No more oil...No water...and Tsukaza cant firebend without the use of her other arm." Dav wildly thought. as he continued to try and dodge the hands.
Unfortunately, his luck ran out as he stepped into Baolin. The momentary pause causing the two of them to become captured.
As the trio was pushed together, they waited with fear as to what these guards had in store for them.
Suddenly, Dav noticed a faint purple light coming from the hole they made. It became stronger and stronger until it was a blinding light.
With a mighty explosion and a rush of heat, the hole became twice as big. As the guards turned around to face their new threat, a patina of ice swept out of the hole and surrounded the guards.
Dav felt their bonds slacken and drop. Instantly, he got up and said;
"I think we should go back down the hole...I don't know why, but I think we're safer there than here right now!" Dav said as he Ran for the hole.

He watched Enoki bring himself into horse stance.
"How does this help me earth bend...?" He asked, keeping his eyes closed.
Tsuchi chuckled as he walked next to him. Folding his feet out four times he remained in horse stance to explain.
"Horse stance is strong; just like Earth Bending," Tsuchi explained. "A strong stance will keep you upright. However, in order for it to be strong you must know how to do it properly: feet pointed forward, knees out, back straight and butt parallel to the ground. Weight must be 50-50."
He demonstrated horse stances strength with a double tok sau. The earth infront of them shifted up in a column: wide as a sky bison's foot and as tall as the trees around them.
"Horse stance is balanced," Tsuchi said performing gum sau. "We're much like trees: without a strong base, we would fall over."

((Listen, I know I missed a whole lot for that part, but please don't godmode Baolin.))
Baolin himself hadn't fared much better. Perhaps out of some slight recognition or the clear fact that he was no warrior caused them to go easier from him. This was not to say that he wasn't very soon covered in cuts and bruises from his ineffective dodges. A massive stone hand, probably an attack at Tsuzuki or Dav, landed in the floor. Seeing a shelter, Baolin dove for it and took in his surroundings. Tsuzuki was collapsed on the ground, while Dav ran back to the hole, his face lit by the new and strange purple light.
Baolin half wanted to shout for them all to stop, to let him attempt diplomacy over their brute strength... but revealing that the Duke of Amayen was running around such places without permission, with wandering benders, beneath the palace... No. The best thing for Amayen was to retain a good reputation, and right now, the best thing to keep that reputation was not to reveal himself, which consequently meant breaking still more rules.
"Hells," he cursed, retreating from the guards. Commoners had no idea how nice it was to at least be allowed to go to prison at all.
"Tsuzuki, he's right," Baolin called, hurrying to the firebender's side and hoisting her up by her waist. "Can you get to the hole all right?" Which, of course, was the far more polite was of saying 'Do you need my help?'

Tsuzuki didn't want to hurt her pride but she knew that she needed help from him. Seeing as being glued to the ground by two rocks wasn't doing wonders for her mood, she replied harshly, "My hands are glued to the ground. What do you think?"
She stopped for a moment and sighed, "Sorry about that. I didn't mean to snap. Still wanna help?"

Baolin glanced up, hearing as their poor shelter was slowly falling away. He had to do something fast... what was it that his old teacher had taught him.
"Listen," he said. "I'm not a bender, but I know some techniques to loosen the earth that normal people can do. If I loosen it enough, can you blast your way out?"

Tsuzuki tried to move her hand and realized that there was enough room for her to bend without getting burned. She nodded and said confidently, "Yeah, I'm pretty sure."

Dav turned from his dash toward the hole and saw the predicament Tsuzuki was in. Unfortunately, he couldnt think of anything he could do to get Tsuzuki out. He looked out at the main door of the throne room and saw that the large, ornate door was still open.
"I'll get the door." He said, pushing against it with all his might. He might not be able to save her, but he could buy her some time.
