*Than blinked when he noticed something slither out of view. He silently cursed the situation, hoped that whoever was in trouble wasn't dead, and moved into the shop. Knowing he should be ready to fight, Than's left arm turns into the blade form he'd used against Gabriel. The blade was about twice as long as an average person's forearm. Stopping once again with his back to the rim of the door where the vine had vanished, Than looked around the corner to see into the room. If someone was in trouble, no doubt Than would almost immediately intervene*

*Than bared his teeth and spun off the wall, moving into the door way. Putting his right foot forward, Than gives himself a good push into to the room and thrusts his left arm forward. The blade on Than's arm suddenly extends and shoots like a spear towards the bottom of the larg plants stem. During mid flight, the tip of the blade turns into one reminscent of a large arrow head* Hurry! You two get out of here! *Than had no idea if these people were normal or were infectees of Dom's plague*

*Than just blinked as he watched the two people scramble. When he noticed that one was trying to tackle him, Than moves to the side, but the length of the mid shot blade made it difficult. In the end, Than moves enough so that the villager tackled his lower body, causing Than to fall on his side. The blade had gone right through the second person, and the explosion had equally engulfed it, changing its initial course little. However, the instability caused by the explosion and the effect of gravity caused the arrow headed spear to slam deep into the ground and stop extending. Than, left arm imbedding in the ground several meters from him, turns down to the villager attached to his legs* What're you doing? Get off me and get out of here! *Than grabbed the person's shoulder and started to push him/her away. He still had a monster plant to deal with*

*Than winced when he felt the man's teeth clamping on his suit's leg. To get away, Than decides to use his new found anchor to his advantage. Delivering a quick shove to the man's head and neck, Than contracts his extended left arm. Because of the arrow like head, and because the explosion had flung it into the ground, Than was more or less pulled towards the anchor point as the arm contracted. Hopefully, this would tear him away from the man quickly enough to get free. As Than skidded across the ground, some of the vines did lash his legs, making him wince. As he looked back, he noticed two things. One, the mark on the man's head. Usually, this meant some sort of control or posession. The second thing Than noticed was that the vine's had aimed for him instead of the man. Coupled with the previous man's sacrifice, this lead Than to the conclusion that he'd been lead into a trap* Chikuso! *Posessed or not, the man was at least once human, so Than didn't want to see him die the same way the last one had. It may have been stupid to care for one trying to tear him up, but that was Than's nature. Leaping to his feet, Than jumped into the air, being weary of any vines coming at him. He'd leapt into the air so that the man would have more difficulty getting in his way. Bringing his bladed arm overhead, the arm extends again as Than tries to cut the monster plant clean down it's entire stem. It didn't occur to Than that the plant might explode like the other villager*

*Than smirked to himself as the plant exploded, far enough away not to be severely affected aside from increased heat. When Than landed, he noticed the structural integrity of the building giving away* kuso..... *Figuring the explosion must've caused the fragile building to give way or the plant itself was holding the building up as a foundation, Than turned and made a run for the door. However, he quickly stopped and looked back to the unconscious man. Infected or not, this man was one a human, a living being at the very least. Than knew it was a risk without even thinking, but he wouldn't abandon these people, believing that they might yet be saved. Than hoisted the man up with strength Than was unaware he had and made a sprint for the front entrance with the man over his shoulder*

*Than panted when he got outside. It wasn't so much from being tired as his rapid changes in motion over the past while. He'd gone from moving fast, to slowly, to not at all and vice versa in his fight and rescue. Than laid the man down next to him, on his back* Hnn... hey are you awake?? *Than blinked when he saw the chest in his peripheral vision* Nani? Where'd that come from?...... *Than kept the man in sight and moved over to the chest, checking for any obvious traps, and opening it slowly*

*Than looked at the three contents of the chest. The key looked perplexing, and Than put it into one of the pockets of his suit. Noticing one item was a map, he grinned. This item could be very useful to him. Folding the map up into a square, Than puts that into a pocket on his yellow vest. The last thing he found was the note. He'd freed 25% of the town? Was that relative to the area of the town or its population. If it was population wise.... then that would mean there weren't many people left in the town, so Than hoped it was area wise. He, of course, noted the name. Dom. The very same name he'd heard from Axl and Twi. So this person was who Ceres answered to, as well as being one who survived the seven hells temple massacre and infected the town which Pet spoke of. Than was certain now. Whether she was here or not, Dom knew something about Kai. Than was finally heading down a path again. Pocketing the note, Than turned in time to see the red chip fade before looking at the man* Konnichiwa! Are you all right?
