Miyoko giggled and shook her head, gentlye waving her hand as if to excuse the man's statement. Don't be silly, you're doing great, she said. Do you have... how do you say... um, like salad tongs? she asked with the tilt of her head.

"I don't have the big fancy plastic ones, but I do have some shirt metal ones if those will suffice.. ", he said pulling them out of a drawer and handing them to Miyoko. "Is that okay?", he asked her with a smile.

Of course, I much prefer the metal ones, even though they get hot, they don't melt like plastic ones, Miyoko commented before beginning to cook the wontons, a smile on her lips.

Hedon watched curiously as Miyoko cooked. He was beginning to feel a bit hungry with all this cooking nonsense and was becoming rather impatient with waiting. "How long does it take to cook the wontons?", he asked Miyoko.

Just a few minutes each batch, and I can fit about six in the pan at once, Miyoko chimed happily, putting them on the papertowels he had layed out.

Hedon's stomach groaned as the smell filled the kitchen and he chuckled a bit with a shrug. "Excuse him, he has a mind of his own", he said refering to his tummy. In the meantime, Hedon's infamous pixie managed to make his way up into the kitchen, his stomach resembling that of Hedon's. Hedon's eyes lit up at the sight of the annoyance and swated at him in hopes Miyoko wouldn't catch a glimpse of the horrid thing.

Miyoko giggled softly as she heard his stomach growling. It's alright, there's only one more batch now, she said as she put the final five in the pan to begin to cook. She sensed something enter the room, and stood statue-like for a moment before she spoke. A... pi...pixie...? she asked without turning.

Hedon sighed hearing Miyoko's comment and slapped his forehead with his palm. Hedon captured Shade in his palms. "Sorry.. I must of left the downstair's door open and he smelled the food.." Hedon opened his hands to peer at this pixie and frowned. "Behave..!", he warned the pixie with a firm, evil look before releasing him.

It's fine. As long as it's not a mean pixie... Miyoko said with a frown. She had never had any luck with befriending pixies and such. She turned the stove off and layed the wontons on a large plate, looking to the man. They're finished, now we can eat, she said.

Hedon rubbed the back of his neck curiously as she mentioned the words 'mean pixie'. Hedon's face soon changed as she mentioned the finished meal and his mouth watered. Hedon set two plates and the utensils they needed on his table and grinned. "Ladies first", he said pulling a chair out for her.

You're so sweet, Miyoko nearly squeaked as she moved to take a seat, looking to the man. You might want to get some drinks, these can be pretty rich, she said with a firm nod, one of her mother's traits.

Hedon smiled, "Of course", he said. "Um.. what would you like?", he asked her pulling out a glass for both his guest and himself.

Miyoko thought for a moment before looking to him with a smile. What do you have? she asked, tapping her nails on the table as she picked up a wonton with one hand, biting into it with a small eep, as it was still hot.

Hedon chuckled at the girl's eagerness, she must of been hungry too. "I have grape soda, water, milk.. and any alcoholic beverage you could dream of..", he said.

Mmmm, I'd love grape soda! Miyoko exclaimed happily, taking another bite out of her wonton which had cooled.
