Scribble, this is a hot issue, and a lot of us are very tired of the verbal abuse we constantly suffer at the hands of those who would call themselves pro choice. Nobody minds a good debate, but when you go about it in a manner that's that agressive, it makes it seem like there's a degre of animosity behind your statments. This guild, and in particular this section, is our sanctuary, not our battleground. Nobody should have any problems if you keep that in mind.

This guild, and in particular this section, is our sanctuary, not our battleground. Nobody should have any problems if you keep that in mind. I don't think I've been aggressive. It certainly wasn't my intention to offend people. I don't se this as a battleground; I see it as a topic put forward for debate, so I'm debating it.

This thread was not put up for debate. No thread in here is put up for debate unless spucificly stated so. You may not think you've been agressive, but its not your word, its your actions. You've acted agressivly by our standards.

look, all we're saying is take it down a notch. Nobody dislikes you, nobody wants you to leave, but we want this forum to be a place for us to chill, not strain eachother's statments looking for double sources and calling things biased. Hell, WE'RE ALL biased, that's why we're here, LOL.

"actions" = how you have said things. In othewr words, its not what you say, its how you say it and express it. I hate explainign myself to people who enjoy acting dumb -_-
I can show you the bottom of one thing Scribs, you can get the answers you seek with out resorting to playing the devils advocate and mackign alot of the others here feel extremly uncomfertable around you. Quite frankly, a few of us see you as a mule of a choicer. Some one who understand enough of the pro-life logic and way of thining to actualy sound like one of us. Quite frankly youv e said nothing that suggests you are pro-life, all most of us have ever seen you do is atempt to tear down arguments and ask for sources for certain claims with out ever presenting any your self.

We do it with out atempting to challange what is said directly, taking what is said with a grain of salt but not out right disagreeing with it untill we can directly proove the information false. You havn't really done this. All you've done since you came in here is question every thing as though its directly wrong, accused our information of being biased with out offering alternative sources, and quite frankly made quite a few people uncomfertable and nearly chased away one.

You sounded like you were accusing me of being pro-choice. If I were pro-choice, I wouldn't be pro-life. Therefore, you accused me of not being pro-life. There's my train of thought for you. I challenge things directly. That's just how I go about things. It's quicker, easier, and less subversive, or at least I have found it to be. I don't feel that I've been going round pointing the finger and saying 'You're wrong!' like you seem to have found me to be. Maybe that's just the way it comes across to some people, I don't know, but I was aiming for more of a questioning tone than an accusing one. I don't see how my posting could have made anyone so uncomfortable as to leave, so I don't know what to make of this *shrugs* Could we get back on topic and stop talking about me?

You have, however, brought little to nothing forward which would support your claim to being pro-life, but silence dosnt necisarily lend creadence to anything. We actualy can't say you arnt pro-life, considering its not a club you register for and join. The only thing we can say is that you arnt pro-life to us or that you don't seem very pro-life.
Tone it down then, and start lending actual sources to your claims. THis isn't a debate guild. If you want to debaste topics, I'm now asking that you take it to the choice/life discussion forum. If you see a problem with something, post a thread there. Or to the ED of our guild. The main forum though is not a debate guild, sorry.
Your posting has made serveral of us uncomfertable because you are challanging us in an environment built for those of similer ideas. You not showing those ideas is macking others uncomfertabvle and quiostoning your intentions. SO far you have shown that you share nothing similer to us.

What do you mean by that? None of us ignore the wants and needs of the mother. Just most of us believe that those wants and needs do not override the child's right to live, except in cases where the mother's own life is also at risk.

In other threads, at least try to be civil, you may not agree with Scribble's stance however try to at least be polite.
And Pyro, do not overstep your bounds.
