Aura blinks, unsure of what to do or say next. "So.. I'm the only one that's said I don't want one then? That's why you freaked out earlier when I told you how I felt?"

Johann chuckles. "Awwe.. And i was starting to feel special." He messed up the little kid's hair.

Kayleigh-chan Maru sighed softly, laying down ontop of the other. "... It's fine.. I wasn't planning on going the full monty with you anyway... You seemed too innocent for that anyway." He moved off of Connor, laying next to him. He wasn't mad, more saddened that he had upset his freind. Connor then looks at his best friend with a saddened smile. "I .. I am so sorry, Maru. I think I am just not ready for it just yet.. Maybe when we get to know each other a little more.. so.. Can you forgive me, Maru?" He asked with a slight sad tone in his voice while looking at him before kissing him on the nose. He had hoped the kiss would have got him to be a little better.

Johann blinked at this, then smiled, leaning down and kissing the cat's head. "Not today." He told him softly, before getting up again. "Maybe I should go."

"Bad velationship..?" he asked softly. "I understand not vishing to talk about it."

Rick smiled at him weakly, nodding as he stood up to get a seat on a chair. "Yea I'm pretty hungry.. What kinda food is here?"

Connor nodded softly with a gentle smile before starting to purr loudly. He was liking the fact that Maru was rubbing his ear. "Ooou.. I like that.. Don't stop, Maru." He said while turning into a deep pink in the face.

Ken just nods somewhat stiffly. "I'm surprised Riku hasn't torn the house apart with how wild his father lets him roam."

Aura grins a bit, then heads to the fridge, opening the door and looking through the various items. "There's deli meats and cheeses, chicken, bacon, pork chops, hamburger.... Lots of fruits and veggies."

Johann turned, smiling at Sparkey. "I don't really wish to give the little guy the wrong impression. As much as i'd love to have such a cute little child like that of my own."

Johann chuckled, before wrapping an arm around Sparky. "Though, it'd be rude of me to leave your company with no good reason."

Sparky blinks, looking up at Johann for a moment before looking back down at Akito.
Akito flicks his wings again, then wraps his chubby arms around Johann's, where it was wrapped around Sparky.

Ken thinks on this for a moment, then nods. "Very true. I'm glad he listens to me better, truth be told. He has a brother the same age, but he had been given away when they were born. I miss the little guy, you know?"

Johann smiled softly as his arm was "hugged", and he fuzzed up his hair before Ghost appeared. "Oh god what're you doing here?" He asked, looking up at the translucent rat.
Ghost raised an eyebrow. "Oh sorry, I never knew you had adopted a family." He quipped sarcastically. He put a hand on his hip and lowered himself down to the floor. "There's trouble at the asylum.. some sort've fight in the main hall."

"Yes I can understand that... Can you not still see him?" He asked, tilting his head to one side.

"That sounds great. It's making me hungry already." He chuckled, his tail waving again behind his wings."

Sparky raises an eyebrow at the sarcasm in Ghost's voice. He didn't say anything though, feeling it not his place to contradict the other.

Ken shrugs slightly. "His adopted parents rarely, if ever, come into the shop. I've seen him maybe... twice since he was born."

Aura chuckles, then starts cooking. When he finishes, he carries it all over to the table and sets it down in front of Rick. "Dig in."
