We have Uno, he has one testical. that will last forever, i feel sorry for him, not realy. Then theres fiftyfournintey, hes five foot four and weighs 90 pounds, and gimpy, he sprained his ankle playing frissbee at band camp.

In middle school band, I gave our band director the nickname "Chihuahua" because he was really freaky & his eyes always looked like they were bugging out like a Chihuahua's. What made it even funnier was that a few of the band parents actually thought his name was Mr. Chihuahua ^^

shuki582 One of my friends is 5'2 and she plays bass drum on drumline. And her nickname is dinosaur. We have a bass drum girl who's just under five feet on the drumline, we call her Shorty. Then my friend (the uber tall trombone section leader) calls our brass captain Shrimp McGee and she calls me Stumpy. . . I hate being short.

I'm the Polock Noir. (literally meaning balck polish person). You see, i'm the only dark polish person in my section, so, they started saying stuff like. "Oh, you shouldnt carry the heavy stuff, cuz you're dark polish xd
They were joking of course. But anyways. The one person asked me what dark was in french, and i hand no clue, so i just said black. And so the name "Polock Noir" was bairn. And thow that's all they call me. sweatdrop

In high school I was Cloboe, cause i was the oboe that marched clarinet. my friend came up with that and i still use it.
now that i'm in college i'm Squirrel...
the gist of that story is because i had a little plastic squirrel and was passing it to my section leader because supposedly there was something with him and squirrels, but it never made it to him. one of our directors went on a rant so the squirrel was put on the floor... and then in her rant she said something to the effect of "You guys have been acting squirrely lately.... THERE ARE NO SQUIRRELS IN THIS BAND!!!" and for the rest of the rant the back row of clarinets looked very pointedly at the floor and somehow managed not to bust out laughing.

My band has a hershey a lynerd a pennsylvania, a spike, a james dont call me tony (my name) and a bagillion others lol theres 175 in our band and I cant name em all

Freshmen get nicknames, and this year we have the best ever. Karl with a K(bass), Larry/Megatron(quints), Nrrr(tongue roll the r's)/Optimus Prime, Xavier, and Speed Racer. One of the clarinets is FiFi the band whore, and I am Reuben Stoddard.

I have two nicknames, one from this creepy kid and one from my flute buddy. They are Abz (and if you spell it with a (s), Andy will hurt you, and stick-girl, cuz I'm relly skinny.. heart
My band director in middle school we called Master P...randomly...

My whole band calls me squeaky because the french horns behind me like to poke my butt through the chair while I'm doing a solo and it usually makes my oboe squeak because I'm so suprised my lips squeeze together. I try to control it these days though.

I'm called Worgie now >_< why.. well at a concert the announcer was announcing who did the solo (me -_-) and misheard my name saying Worgin istead of Morgan... he also said i was a trumpet player.. which i am not.. sheesh dude.. get ur instruments straight.. DOES A TENOR SAX EVEN LOOK LIKE A TRUMPET!?!?!?!?!?! *sighs* meh, it was fun.. now im worgie 3nodding

my husband got the name "paco" in band his freshman year cause the director couldn't read his hand writing on the bus list sign up sheet and called him out as Jason Paco instead of Jason Pace. smile I was Ducky cause a guy in my section poked me and i squeaked like a rubber ducky... that stuck for a long time... then there was a drummer in our band who showed up to band camp his first day in a solid purple shirt... this guy is not small either... his nickname was dubbed Gimmace from then on (see McDonalds if you don't know why thats funny) and the drummers at our school had special shirts with their nicknames on them so the whole school called him gimmace... i don't even know what his real name was! lol

No one in my band had any nicknames (except maybe one or two) until we met our marching instructor for this year. He's given a bunch of nicknames to people like:
Jackson 5 (a guy with a 'fro)
Pete-&-Pete (me b/c I have red hair)
Austin Powers (guy with hair like his)
Mini-Austin (looks like a cross between mini-me and Austin Powers)
EDIT: For those who don't know, "Pete & Pete" was a show that used to come on Nickelodeon a long time ago. The main characters were two brothers who both had red hair and had the name "Pete."
That's just to name a few. Here are some that existed before then:
Mrs. Pennington/Marmaduke (I have no idea how this girl got those nicknames o_O)
Sanchez/Pancho/Polly McPissypants (same guy with the fro [he's part mexican]. He got his last nickname from an incident that involved him pissing on himself [long story rofl ])
