What about taking away the rule that freshmen can't have dorms, and instead making them have dorms, after the jobs system is integrated? You could randomly pair up freshmen and assign them a dorm number, then one would have to go take the basic dorm template (what the dorms all start off looking like) and create the dorm. That way new students meet each other, and freshmen won't have to pay to stay at the inn. Then you can make it an incentive to be able to live in town for people sophomore and up. They could stay in the dorm or go and live in the inn. Then for junior they could rent an apartment or something, and seniors and above could buy/rent a house. That way: - The freshmen branch out and meet more people. -The jobs system is fully utilized. - No one is pressured into a job. - Housing is set-up. - And the scales for privileges stay about the same. I know it would take some work and planning, but if we can all pull it off it could really help the guild. And since their would be more then one student to a dorm, you wouldn't have to worry about useless dorm rooms so long as they stay on. After both members move out of the dorm room it could be left there, or put into the old threads sub forum. If only one moved out, then you could assign another freshmen to the room. I don't know, its up to you guys.

Since there's been a lack of role-playing in the guild, and the people on seem either stuck or they haven't found another area to role-play in. Maybe we need to find another way around this- other then the multiple characters. I'm not saying that we should say feel free to role-play in multiple areas at the same time. But more of a different route. Such as an item enabling the user to travel to other areas while a copy remains where their at. Sort of like the time-turner in Harry Potter. It would be different, but we could have a sort of mini-quest for people to get it, where they'd have to go to the science labs or something, and complete some task in order to be able to use it.
