BenFleming Boarding schools have dorms, usually. And yeah, I noticed it when I was typing up my entrance post. My character made reference to the discrepancy. Heh. Yeah, but those are Private schools. You pay for the rooming there, just like you do in college. So you see, boarding schools are kind of like the result of some pervered ***** making it with some poor little high school. For shame!

I made the guild, but Ginseki currently "owns" it. Gin is a close friend of mine and I gave him ownership of the guild so he could take care of it while I was MIA for an extended period of time. He has yet to give it back tho... >.> lols <3

Whenever I see the school IDs, they still say Tenshi High. Would that be changed in the future?

When will I find out if I'm accepted? I would really like to participate in the future October events.

Getting into the guild means you're accepted. You can start participating as soon as you're in.

I have a question, what's up with the classes, exam, and scavenger hunt?

Classes aren't happening right now. Not enough people in the guild for that to work out. Check the calendar for the exam schedule, and for the scavenger hunt you need to find the things on the list somewhere in the roleplay sections of the guild, and roleplay taking a picture of that item. Any further details?

I'm guessing its not so much a number problem as much as an activity level for said members. I asked about the exams because I know there's supposed to be one this month, but I don't know the specifics and the sub forum and thread didn't exactly help. I understand taking pictures, but, wouldn't that method be rather ineffective? Since once someone posts their answers, anyone can simply go in there and steal them. What's going on with the credit system, as well as the changes you want to make with the guild? What can I do, if anything, to help?

That's true. We would need people not only attend the classes, but spend the time and creativity to teach them as well. Its a real problem now since most of our members are in the late teens and early 20s, and real life keeps getting in the way.
On the eights I'm going to post a sign up sheet, then on the 15 who ever signed up can take the test. If you would like to read all the details on the exams, check out the teacher lounge thread in the records office subforum. That's where we keep all the nitty gritty details on everything.
About the scavenger hunt, yes I guess people could steal the answers from the other members if they wanted to, or more so if they were lazy enough. I think the people we have in the guild right now are decent enough to try and find the things themselves. But I'm not too fusses about it at this point in time. It was simply supposed to be a fun and easy way to earn some credits.
And like I mentioned earlier, I have a list of updates and changes I want to make to the guild listed in the teacher lounge thread. As of now, if stay active for a while and show that you don't want to flake out on the guild, I'll probably promote you to a mod so you can help out with the future events and what not. biggrin

You have to search through the role play threads in the guild. I suggest reading the description in the first post of each thread. What ever is on the list can be found in the description, so you know where to find them. Then you "role play" taking a picture of the item/place/person. And lastly you link each "picture post" in your post in the hunt thread.

Late teens...? *shifty eyes* Ah well. I guess that's not too surprising. I have another question, this time about the dorms. Don't most collages/institutes/universities want freshmen to stay in campus dorms so they can make friends, have people to help them, and get to know the school better? So why do the freshmen have to either board with a friend or stay in the inn? Because that seems rather odd.
