Kaze's eyes widened momentarily before he hid the reaction, back behind his mask of uncaring. Chloe stiffled another chuckle, disguising it as a cough as she brought her hand up to her mouth. Pulling her backpack snugly over her shoulder she regarded the large doors.

"So, shall we go in?"

Kaze's gaze moved to the doors as well, as he paused, considering. Steeling himself, he pushed open the doors, wincing as they creaked open.

Chloe followed her partner inside, as they glanced around the dusty old tower. The doors creaked closed behind them, and Kaze whirled as the two were plunged into almost complete darkness. Kaze's tail was burning brightly, creating a small circle of light withing which the two remained.

Chloe regarded the interior of the tower, glancing up the staircase that lined the wall. It spiraled upwards, leading to the higher floors.

Predictably, he shrugged indifferently, heading up the stairs, flame on his tail bobbing slightly with the movement as the two journeyed upwards.

Making it to the next floor, the two explored a bit, Chloe watching as Kaze became slightly more agitated and anxious. But all the while he was disguising the worry, pretending to have found something particularly interesting when he jumped at a noise, or focusing on some miniscule object in the room that they were in.

The music box creaked, coughing out a pitiful croak before settling into its routine song. The keys playing a slightly haunting, but beautiful melody.

As the box creaked back to a halt, Chloe set it down gently back onto the side table. "That was pretty," she commented. Kaz regarded the box curiously, but didn't show much interest in the song.

Chloe creaked open the wooden door at the top of the stairwell, leading to a landing on the top of the roof. Above, the moon shone brightly, illuminating much more than Kaze's tail did.
